Lunchbox snack foods Children need to eat a range of different foods to provide nutrients to meet growth and energy needs. Snacks need to be everyday foods rather than sometimes foods. � fruit loaf � plain popcorn Gala Day On Friday, 18 th May, the Padstow North rugby league team represented our school in the Canterbury Bankstown Opens at The Crest sporting venue. In the first game, we were a bit nervous, but turned it into adrenaline, thrashing Padstow Park with a whopping score of 34-0. We had a lot of time to recover, with a three hour break. Our next game was at 12.55pm against Nuwarra PS. We were very confident after our first match, so we took that attitude into the game and ended up winning with a pleasing score of 26-4. Next up was Revesby South, who were the favourites to win this competition. We played our best game of the day, beating them 6-0 in a very hard fought contest. Our last game, before the final, was against Al Faisal who we also managed to beat 10-6 after resting many of our ‘star’ players for the first half. The final was held straight after our last round game, with little time to recover. We had to play against Revesby South again who went on to win the game by 12-0. Overall, it was a great day with excellent team spirit shown the whole day by all the boys involved. Thanks to the parents who assisted in transporting and supporting our team all day.
