For many of us, the Midsummer Fair is not just
the largest independent pop-up shopping event of
the summer – it’s a much-loved celebration. A joyful
garden party set in the glorious grounds of Hole Park,
Rolvenden, where friends and family come together to
shop, eat, drink, and soak up the summer atmosphere.
If you’re a returning visitor – welcome back! You’ll
know how exciting it all is, when the bunting goes up,
the marquees fill with treasures, and the gates open. It
marks the start of three fabulous days, that we’ve spent
months curating, searching high and low for talented
new designers, makers and small businesses to bring
you something truly special. In fact, around a quarter
of our exhibitors this year are brand new – so make
sure to seek them out alongside your usual favourites.
The Midsummer Fair offers an irresistible mix
of fashion, jewellery, homewares, garden décor, and
thoughtful gifts. There’s also an abundance of plants,
trees and blooms to inspire your outdoor spaces. Don’t
miss our much-loved Artisan Food Avenue, where you
can sample and shop delicious treats from passionate
independent producers – many of them local, all of
them lovely.
Wander to the end of the marquees and you’ll
discover a relaxed village of street food stalls, cosy
deckchairs, hay bales, and a cheerful buzz around our
pop-up bars and coffee shops. It’s the perfect place
to pause for a barista-made coffee, a Pimm’s, or a
celebratory glass of fizz, while listening to the finest
school choirs in Kent.
And if you need anything during your visit, just
look out for our wonderful team of “Pinkies” –
friendly stewards in pink who are always happy to
help, whether it’s clearing a table or carrying your
shopping to the car.

forward to sharing their carefully
selected goodies with you.

No doubt a tour of these stunning gardens
will inspire visitors to source plants and
garden accessories from our many outdoor
stands. Visitors can enjoy the summer
blooms around the 16 acre gardens, take
a peek in the woodland ice house and
marvel at the tree carving of a family of
bears climbing an oak tree to reach a honey
pot. Families will also love the wooden
rope swing – a hit with kids and a perfect
picture spot!
