our new Beauty Skills Course is perfect for you!
The course is designed to introduce you to:

You will gain essential skills that will build your confidence
across various areas—whether for personal development,
presentation skills, job opportunities, or progression through

The aim of this course is to equip you with the skills and
knowledge to confidently manage and operate Microsoft
programmes. Whether you are looking to secure your data,
develop and create your own webpage using basic coding
skills, or gain essential knowledge in cyber security—crucial for
employment—this course offers a solid foundation. Additionally,
it provides the opportunity to progress to Level 5 in Information
and Technology, enhancing your overall expertise in the field.
You will be invited to meet with us on campus mid-August with
the tutor to assess and discuss content and agree the way
forward.
Forensics for Beginners:
Inside the Crime Scene

Every contact leaves a trace, so join this course at Branchton
Community Centre to learn about crime scene protocol and the
range of physical and psychological evidence at the primary
locus of a crime.
We’ll consider the journey from the minute the First Officer
attending arrives, the crime scene protocol which should be
followed, and what different types of evidence present (and
absent!) can tell us about what has unfolded.
This class will be a mixture of lectures, discussions, case
studies and practical activities with the option to complete
an SQA unit (Level 5) or just to come along and join a terrific
learning opportunity within your community.

discussions and debates, podcasts, TV programmes and reading
