Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses

2050 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive • Allentown, PA

icole Sharee Charles—known to many as Nikki, and lovingly to some as

“Pudding”—fell asleep in death on Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was 50

years old.

Nicole was born in Elmhurst, Queens, and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. She

graduated from Norman High School and Rose State College and spent her

life doing what she did best—serving others. Whether teaching, working as a

paramedic, or most recently supporting autistic children, she led with patience,

empathy, and care. Children didn’t just feel safe around her—they felt seen.

Nicole was mature beyond her years, always calm and clear in her thinking. She

was deeply responsible, very loyal, and always made space for others. She could

talk to anyone, adapt to any setting, and had a way of making even strangers feel

like lifelong friends. Empathy was her superpower.

But more than any job or quality, what mattered most to Nicole was her

relationship with Jehovah. She dedicated her life to Him and was baptized on

April 6, 2002. Her faith wasn’t part of her life—it was her life. Nicole served

faithfully in the Allentown American Sign Language Congregation, where she

shared Bible truths with people from all walks of life. She was especially fond of

Kingdom Song #156: With Eyes of Faith and Song #57: Preaching to All Sorts

of People—both fitting reflections of how she lived and what she loved.

Nicole was the kind of person who made everyone feel like her best friend. She

was warm. She was real. She was fiercely protective of her family, especially her

husband Peter, and siblings, Gregory and Tierra. Her love ran deep, and her

faith was unshakable. Even in her final days, she remained obedient to Jehovah’s

standards—refusing a blood transfusion, even when it could’ve prolonged her life.

She held firmly to Jehovah’s promises. She often said, “Doctors may extend life,

but only Jehovah can give everlasting life.”

Always in

Nicole loved the beach—the hotter the better. She loved to cook, especially

when experimenting with new cuisine. She loved shopping, dancing, traveling,

and being with people. She loved her family, her friends, and the ministry. And

she lived it all with joy, purpose, and full confidence in the resurrection.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Peter Charles;

her parents, Linda and William Moran; her

siblings, Gregory and Tierra Moran; nephews

Rashawn and Elijah Moran; nieces Taniya and

Jasmine Moran as well as countless aunts, uncles

(with special mention of aunt Evelyn and uncle

Bruce: her favorites), along with her dear cousins,

friends (special mention of her childhood friend

Ternassia Doakes and her daughter Tori) and

loved ones who will carry her memory forward

with love and hope.

Nicole was faithful, loving, and full of light. She

didn’t need a spotlight—her kindness spoke for

her. Her presence was quiet but powerful and she

will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved

her.

And though her time with us ended too soon,

her story isn’t finished. She is simply sleeping in

death—until Jehovah resurrects her.

In Appreciation

The Charles and Moran families would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the

love and support shown during this difficult time.

To those who drove more than 100 miles—multiple times—just to sit and pray with

Nicole… Thank You.

To those who cooked, delivered meals, or simply showed up when we needed it most…

Thank You.

To those who stood beside us in her final moments… Thank You.

To Jane, her adopted mom…Thank You.

Thank you for the thoughts, the prayers, the steady presence, and the love you’ve always

shown. We will never forget it.

“A true friend shows love at all times, and is a brother who is born for times of distress.”

—Proverbs 17:17

May Jehovah continue to bless your generous and willing spirit.
