MESSAGE
Starting this year we have
opened a new opportunity for
supporting the 22 young men
who currently reside at our
Project Moses farm. We have
launched a sponsorship program
for these students and look
forward to your involvement! Our
motivation is for several reasons:
we would like to have some
assurance we will have enough
funds coming in to cover
expenses;
we would love for each young
man to have a personal “family”
connection to their sponsor;
and we want to share with you
the joy of a personal connection
to the recipient of your donation.

About
THE PROJECT
Project Moses is a program focused
on helping 12-18 year old boys from
disadvantaged circumstances
achieve a highschool education.
Our slogan is “Developing leaders
to fulfill dreams” and that is a key
aspect for how we manage their
time here at the Project.
Throughout their time here they
will be asked about their dreams
and their vision for the future. We
encourage development toward
that dream and help them seek
the right opportunities to further
invest in the future God has for
them. Our call is not just to pour
into the lives of these students, but
also to influence their community
in the hopes that they too may lead
their people toward God’s promise.

Why Sponsor
A STUDENT?
Your sponsoring of a scholarship gives the student the
hope of a brighter future.
You are providing them with new learning experiences
that wouldn’t otherwise be available for the average
teenager here in Honduras.
You can empower them to educational success and
give them a real connection that demonstrates that
there is someone else out there who cares.
This sponsorship connects you to a community here in
Honduras, and through your support of one student,
you are pouring into the lives of their family and their
community.
You can have a true partnership with us to encourage
and edify the student to succeed.
You give the student a chance at being a first
generational (literate) high school graduate.
The Project is willing to facilitate your visit so that
Sponsors can get to know the youth in-person and
personally. You can experience exactly what Project
Moses means to those who are a part of this program.

praying for the Project and the boys throughout the year.

FAQs
What does the sponsorship cover?
EVERYTHING! The sponsorship of $600 a month
covers all the student’s normal monthly expenses.
Food, housing, transportation, staff, learning
materials, workshops, facilities, sports equipment,
everything. We make sure to offer a holistic
perspective for how we educate. The students
attend the local highschool but your giving provides
the rest.
How is communication managed?
You can freely communicate with your sponsored
student any time through our sponsorship platform.
Your sponsored student will respond through the
same platform. The platform will notify you via email
that you have a new message.. Feel free to upload
photos and videos of your family as well. We
encourage on-going and frequent communication.
We do request that you refrain from any references
made to your student about visiting you in the US.

Are partial sponsorships an option?
The monthly sponsorship for one student is $600 per
month. Our platform will allow you to enter your
desired payment method and the money will be
deducted monthly. You can also make a one-time
annual or two-time semiannual payment. If $600 per
month is out of your budget range but you really
want to be involved, we encourage you to recruit
from your family and friends so that collectively you
can pay the monthly amount. We require one
contact per student, but you can easily share any
letters, etc. with your co-sponsors.
Can I give my student a gift?
We are not able to receive any packages or cards
through the mail. If you wish to gift your sponsored
student something for his birthday, Christmas, etc.,
you can send money and specify what you wish him
to have. We encourage you to ask us questions
about what gifts are most needed.
Can I visit?
We hope that over the course of the student’s stay in
our program, a sponsor can visit at least one time.
However, it is not a requirement. During your visit,
you will be encouraged to participate in any of your
sponsored student’s on-going activities where
allowed.
