TECHNICAL ADVICES
• Inflation pressures should be checked when the tyres are cold, at intervals no
greater than two weeks.
• Check the tyres frequently for wear and any signs of damage such as cuts, chafing,
bulges, etc. If in doubt consult an expert regarding serviceability.
• Tyre fitting and removal must be entrusted to a specialist.
• When fitting wheels to the car, always use the recommended torque settings.
• During long periods of inactivity, either remove the wheels or jack the weight off
the tyres. Alternatively set the pressure to 3.0 bar and frequently move the vehicle
or rotate the wheels slightly to minimize localized parking deformation. Don’t
forget to reset the correct operating pressure before using the vehicle again.
• Infrequently used or even unused tyres can suffer premature ageing, particularly
if not stored correctly. When vehicles are not utilized for long periods it is
recommended to check the vehicle and verify, through a specialist, the condition
of the tyres.
• Pirelli recommends to change 4 tyres in case of 4WD vehicles.
