Recent updates to the “Electrical Assessment Specification” (EAS) requires all electrical membership bodies to track

This module will present members with the knowledge of the different types of cable glands available and what
they are used for. Covered in this course will be topics such as: why do we need and what are the different types
of glands; the importance of gland selection; low smoke and fume explained; IP ratings explained; hazardous
areas protection concepts explained and standards; approvals and why they are important.
