Teo Vernice, whose magnetic personality and generous heart

touched countless lives both online and in his beloved

Boston community, departed this world on June 19, 2025 at

Boston Medical Center. He was 21 years old.

Born November 20, 2003, in Loanne, France to Natasha B.

Comeau and Rene Louis Vernice. Teo’s journey brought

him to Hyde Park, Massachusetts where he became a beacon

of authenticity and hope. This was also shaped by his stepfather,

Gesner Comeau. Teo was a proud graduate of Another

Course to College High School and a student at Bunker Hill

Community College. He was pursuing his dream of becoming a

law enforcement officer while working as a Spirit Airlines agent.

Teo’s true calling emerged through his Instagram and YouTube

channel, where he created content since May 2020 and built

a devoted following of 321,000 supporters. His passion for

showcasing the Boston experience through his unique lens

challenged perspectives and inspired others to live authentically.

Whether recording content in his car or hanging out at Ross

Playground and Stash’s Pizza, Teo brought joy and laughter

wherever he went.

His Catholic faith and Haitian heritage shaped his generous

spirit. He regularly fed the homeless, helped friends in need, and

used his platform to demonstrate the importance of caring for

fellow human beings. His mantras, “When there is a will, there

is a way” and “Everything lit,” reflected his tenacious optimism.

A finalist in the MSP Cadet Program, Teo celebrated his

cultural traditions proudly, honoring Haitian Independence

Day and Flag Day with enthusiasm. He found joy in contact

sports, working out, and most importantly, spending time with

family and friends who meant everything to him.

Teo Vernice’s legacy reminds us to live “profoundly, fully,

proudly and by your own terms,” showing the world that the

best way to honor life is through authentic love, unwavering

generosity, and fierce self-acceptance.

THE BROKEN CHAIN

By Ron Tranmer

We knew little that morning that

God was going to call your name,

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,

Your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems to be the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.
