WEEK ONE: LAST CALL
DAY ONE: THE CALL TO REPENT
Luke 13:3 - “I tell you, no! But unless
you repent, you too will all perish.”
Devotional: Jesus calls us to repent because
we all need changed hearts. It’s a daily turning
from sin to God—a humble, urgent response we
can’t delay.
Challenge: What’s one area where you need
to turn back to God?
Prayer: Lord, show me where to repent and
give me a pure heart to follow You.
DAY TWO: THE URGENCY OF THE MOMENT
Luke 13:5 – “But unless you repent,
you too will all perish.”
Devotional: The fig tree shows us both God’s
patience and His expectations. We are called
to bear fruit while we still have time.
Challenge: Ask God what kind of fruit He wants
to grow in your life today.
Prayer: Lord, help my life reflect Your
goodness and grow in faith.
DAY THREE: PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE
Luke 13:6-7 – “A man had a fig tree planted
in his vineyard... for three years he came
looking for fruit.”
Devotional: The gardener’s plea shows us
God’s grace. Jesus works within us even when
we fall short, offering renewal and growth.
Challenge: Where is God giving you grace?
Respond with obedience today?
Prayer: Thank You for Your grace, Lord.
Keep shaping my heart.
DAY FOUR: GRACE OF THE GARDENER
Luke 13:8 - “Sir, leave it alone for one more
year, and I will dig around it and fertilize it.”
Devotional: God gives us another chance, and
we must not waste it. His mercy invites us to
show grace to others, just like Jesus does.
Challenge: Where can you give someone else
another chance?
Prayer: Thank You, God, for second
chances. Help me extend grace today.
DAY FIVE: THE GRACE OF ANOTHER CHANCE
Luke 13:8 – “Leave it alone for one
more year.”
Devotional: Jesus calls us to bear fruit. Grace is
abundant, but we must act. Faith without
action misses the point.
Challenge: What’s one step you can take
toward fruitfulness today?
Prayer: Lord, make my life fruitful for Your
Kingdom.
DAY SIX: A CALL FOR FRUITFULNESS
Luke 13:9 – “If it bears fruit next year,
fine! If not, then cut it down.”
Devotional: Jesus urges us to bear fruit in our
lives, as faith without works is dead. God wants
us to actively live out His teachings.
Challenge: If you had only one year to bear
fruit, what would you change? How will you
start today?
Prayer: Lord, help me live out my faith
fruitfully for Your Kingdom today.
DAY SEVEN: THE LAST CALL TO BEAR FRUIT
Luke 13:9 – “If it bears fruit next year,
fine! If not, then cut it down.”
Devotional: Our time to bear fruit is limited, just
like the fig tree’s. Life is brief, so we must choose
to live out God’s purpose now.
Challenge: Reflect on how you’re using your
time to bear fruit for God’s Kingdom today.
Prayer: Father, help me live purposefully
and not waste the time You’ve given me.
WEEK TWO: THE NARROW DOOR
DAY ONE: THE NARROW DOOR
Luke 13:24 – “Make every effort to enter
through the narrow door, because many, I tell
you, will try to enter and will not be able to.”
Devotional: The path to eternal life is narrow
and requires intentional commitment, not just
following the crowd. True discipleship means
leaving distractions and sin behind.
Challenge: Reflect on where you’re following
Christ and what distractions you can remove
today.
Prayer: Lord, help me seek You intentionally
and give me strength to stay on the narrow
path.
DAY TWO: A HEART FOR THE KINGDOM
Luke 13:25 – “When the owner of the house
gets up and closes the door, you will stand
outside knocking and pleading…”
Devotional: The door to God’s Kingdom won’t
stay open forever; we must be ready now.
Jesus urges us to pursue Him before it’s too
late.
Challenge: Imagine waiting too long and
being shut out—how can you prevent that from
happening?
Prayer: Lord, help me pursue You urgently
with a heart ready to enter Your Kingdom.
DAY THREE: STRIVE FOR THE KINGDOM
Luke 13:24 – “Make every effort to enter
through the narrow door…”
Devotional: Pursuing God’s Kingdom takes
determination and faith, not perfection. We’re
called to live obediently, reflecting our
commitment to Christ.
Challenge: Identify one area where you can
better align your life with God’s will today.
Prayer: Jesus, help me follow You
wholeheartedly and live to honor Your
Kingdom.
DAY FOUR: BEWARE OF FALSE
ASSUMPTIONS
Luke 13:26 – “Then you will say, ‘We ate and
drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’”
Devotional: Being near Jesus or practicing
religion isn’t enough—it’s about truly knowing
and following Him. Knowing about Him isn’t the
same as committing your life to Him.
Challenge: Is your relationship with Jesus
based on truly following Him or just knowing
about Him?
Prayer: Lord, help me truly know You and
walk in daily relationship with You.
DAY FIVE: KNOW THE MASTER’S VOICE
Luke 13:27 – “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you
or where you come from.’”
Devotional: God knows everything about us,
but do we truly know Him? The Kingdom is
about real relationship, not just knowledge.
Challenge: How are you actively pursuing a
genuine relationship with God today?
Prayer: Jesus, I want to know You deeply.
Speak to me and help me follow You
closely.
DAY SIX: A PICTURE OF JUDGEMENT
Luke 13:28 – “There will be weeping there, and
gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the
Kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown
out.”
Devotional: Many assumed they were part of
the Kingdom, but Jesus revealed they were on
the wrong path. In the end, some will realize too
late that they missed the truth.
Challenge: Are there areas where you’ve been
off track? How can you humbly correct your
course now?
Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to anything I’ve
missed and help me stay on the right path
to Your Kingdom.
DAY SEVEN: THE INCLUSIVE KINGDOM
Luke 13:29 – “People will come from east and
west and north and south, and will take their
places at the feast in the Kingdom of God.”
Devotional: The Kingdom is open to all who
respond to Jesus—not based on background,
but on faith. The door remains open to those
who choose to follow Him.
Challenge: How can you share God’s invitation
today? Reach out to someone who needs the
good news.
Prayer: Thank You, God, for inviting me into
Your Kingdom. Help me share that
invitation with others.
WEEK THREE: THE GREAT BANQUET
DAY ONE: INVITATION TO THE BANQUET
Luke 14:16 – “A certain man was preparing a
great banquet and invited many guests.”
Devotional: God’s Kingdom is like a banquet
open to all—His invitation is generous and
ready. The question is: will we accept it?
Challenge: What has God invited you into, and
how are you responding today?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for inviting me in. Help
me respond fully and follow You in every area
of life.
DAY TWO: THE EXCUSES WE MAKE
Luke 14:18 – “But they all alike began to make
excuses.”
Devotional: The parable shows how easily life’s
distractions can cause us to ignore God’s
invitation. It’s not the lack of invitation, but our
willingness to prioritize it.
Challenge: What’s one excuse that’s pulled
you away from God lately? Set it aside and
focus on Him today.
Prayer: God, forgive my distractions. Help
me prioritize Your invitation and live for You.
DAY THREE: THE HEART OF THE HOST
Luke 14:21 – “The servant came back and
reported this to his master. Then the owner of
the house became angry and ordered his
servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and
alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the
crippled, the blind and the lame.’”
Devotional: God’s Kingdom is open to all,
especially the overlooked and hurting. His
generous heart invites everyone, no matter
their circumstances.
Challenge: Who might feel left out today?
Reach out with kindness or encouragement.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for including
everyone. Help me reflect Your heart to
those who feel forgotten.
.
DAY FOUR: NO ROOM FOR DELAY
Luke 14:22 – “Sir, what you ordered has been
done, but there is still room.”
Devotional: There’s still room in God’s Kingdom,
but the invitation is urgent. We’re called to
respond now and make space for His call in our
lives.
Challenge: Where have you delayed
responding to God? Take one step today to
make room for Him.
Prayer: Father, help me respond without
delay and make room in my heart for Your
will.
DAY FIVE: GOD’S INVITATION IS FOR
EVERYONE
Luke 14:23 – “Then the master told his servant,
‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and
compel them to come in, so that my house
will be full.’”
Devotional: God passionately desires people in
His Kingdom, and we should share that
urgency. Their response to Jesus matters—for
eternity and for today.
Challenge: Who needs to hear about God’s
love today? Reach out with an invitation
through a word, prayer, or act of kindness.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your open
invitation. Help me share Your love and
invite others into Your grace.
DAY SIX: THE COST OF REJECTION
Luke 14:24 – “I tell you, not one of those who
were invited will get a taste of my banquet.”
Devotional: Rejecting God’s invitation has
eternal consequences. His grace is free, but we
must respond with faith, obedience, and
urgency.
Challenge: Where have you been resisting
God’s call? Surrender that area to Him today.
Prayer: Lord, I don’t want to miss Your
invitation. Help my life be a constant yes to
You.
DAY SEVEN: THE BANQUET AWAITS
Luke 14:15 – “Blessed is the one who will eat at
the feast in the Kingdom of God.”
Devotional: The great banquet symbolizes the
joy and abundance of eternal life with God. We
can experience a foretaste now through our
relationship with Christ.
Challenge: Reflect on the blessings of knowing
God and celebrate the hope of the future feast.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for inviting me to
Your eternal banquet. Help me live joyfully
in You today and look forward to what’s
coming.
WEEK FOUR: COUNT THE COST
DAY ONE: THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
Luke 14:26 – “If anyone comes to me and does
not hate father and mother, wife and children,
brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—
such a person cannot be my disciple.”
Devotional: Following Jesus means total
commitment—putting Him above all
relationships and desires. True discipleship
prioritizes God’s will over everything else.
Challenge: Where are your priorities out of
sync with Christ? Take a step today to put Him
first.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for inviting me in. Help
me respond fully and follow You in every area
of life.
DAY TWO: COUNTING THE COST
Luke 14:26 – “If anyone comes to me and does
not hate...even their own life—such a person
cannot be my disciple.”
Devotional: Jesus calls us to prioritize
obedience to Him over our own desires. Being
His disciple means surrendering our plans and
living for His purposes.
Challenge: Are you building your life on God’s
plans or your own? Are you ready to let Him
lead fully?
Prayer: Father, help me follow You fully and
submit all my priorities to You.
DAY THREE: THE COST OF CARRYING THE
CROSS
Luke 14:27 – “Whoever does not carry their
cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.”
Devotional: Taking up our cross means
embracing sacrifice and selflessness as we
follow Jesus. It’s an invitation to share in His
surrender for the sake of the Kingdom.
Challenge: What hardship or sacrifice are you
facing in following Christ? Surrender it to Him
and trust He’ll use it for His glory.
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for carrying the
cross for me. Help me carry mine and
follow You faithfully.
DAY FOUR: THE COST OF GIVING UP
EVERYTHING
Luke 14:33 – “In the same way, those of you
who do not give up everything you have
cannot be my disciples.”
Devotional: True discipleship means being
willing to give up everything. The closer we are
to God, the less we can cling to anything else.
Challenge: What’s competing with your
devotion to Christ? Identify it and take a step to
let it go.
Prayer: Lord, help me surrender all to You
and release anything that hinders my walk
with You.
DAY FIVE: THE PARABLE OF THE KING
Luke 14:31 – “Or suppose a king is about to go
to war against another king. Won’t he first sit
down and consider whether he is able with
ten thousand men to oppose the one coming
against him with twenty thousand?”
Devotional: Jesus reminds us to count the cost
of following Him—it’s a spiritual battle, but one
we can win with God’s help.
Challenge: What spiritual battle are you
facing? Take a step today to prepare with
wisdom and faith.
Prayer: God, give me strength and wisdom
for the battles ahead. Help me stay
committed to following You.
DAY SIX: COUNTING THE COST
Luke 14:28 – “Suppose one of you wants to
build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and
estimate the cost to see if you have enough
money to complete it?”
Devotional: Following Jesus is like building a
tower—it requires planning and total
commitment. Discipleship means yielding
everything to Him.
Challenge: Evaluate your commitment today.
Are you ready to follow Christ no matter the
cost?
Prayer: Father, help me count the cost and
stay committed. Give me strength to
endure whatever comes.
DAY SEVEN: SALT WITHOUT FLAVOR
Luke 14:34-35 – “Salt is good, but if it loses its
saltiness, how can it be made salty again?”
Devotional: Just as salt has a purpose, so do
we as Christ’s followers. If we lose our passion
or purpose, we lose our effectiveness in the
Kingdom.
Challenge: Ask God to renew your passion.
How can you reflect Christ’s “flavor” in your
world today?
Prayer: Lord, renew my passion and help
me stay faithful and distinct as I reflect
Your light.
