Two and a half years ago, I made an audacious

decision. I paused my beloved magazine and started

over. Preeminence had reached a pinnacle of reviews

and popularity, but I'd evolved beyond what it could

contain.

Brand Runway Magazine was my audacious way to

claim Jenni Magazine 3.0 (because I've been

publishing since 2012) and for it to be even better.

World Class kind of better (even though Preeminence

JP: I would love it if you could take us back to the moment when you realized your expertise

deserved a runway, not just a corner. What was happening in your world that made you say, "This

is my time to stop whispering and start commanding attention"?

Anjel...

Back in 2001, I had my first of many “Spiritual Awakening” experiences that ultimately led to my divorce and

leaving behind a notable and award-winning 20-year career in the Real Estate Industry. I was the National Chair

of an industry association that represented one in eight homeowners in the US and was completing a project

consisting of 51 single-family homes, 56 apartments, and an office building with two male partners.

My home and personal life were reeling from the impact of a sexual assault on my child in the house of a woman

who was a friend and daycare provider for us, which had happened in 1999, right at the start of that real estate

project. Following a ski injury, I started yoga practice in 2001, and within months, that first awakening experience

happened, which changed the trajectory of my life.

Once I got over the initial shock I came to understand how much healing I was going through and how much

BETTER everything was getting as I continued to shed what no longer served and focus on MY OWN well being, I

soon realized that I couldn’t keep to myself the journey I was on because there were so many others in the world

who could benefit and that ultimately led to me starting my own business and sharing my vision and message.

JP Was there a particular "emperor's new clothes" moment in your industry - where you looked around

and thought, "Everyone's following the same tired playbook, but what if there's a more elegant way"?

At first, when I got into the personal and professional development industry, I did “play along” with the playbook. I

invested heavily in working with some of the biggest names in the business at that time and attempted to

implement, but for years, the “cookie-cutter” approach simply didn’t work for me. The “moment” when I realized I

had to stop playing that game and get back to my own roots and intuitive, innovative, creative way of doing things

happened for me in 2013. I had invested hundreds of thousands of dollars by then, and I was in a group program

where the coach had us doing short talks from the stage to sell the books that we had written in her program, with

the big promise that we’d be getting a ton of exposure and our books should sell like hotcakes.

The truth, though, was that there was NO ONE in the audience who wasn’t a part of the program, so after

spending months of my life and tons of money to get the result of book sales and visibility in front of a buying and

eager audience, I walked off that stage and crashed. I came home and pulled the plug on a lot of the “this isn’t

working, what’s wrong with me that I can’t figure it out” way of thinking, reconnected with my own Source of

inspiration and began to retrieve my energy and realign with RESPECTING my deep knowing and taking action on

that instead of trying to play a game that promised a lot and delivered so little.

Transformation Atelier:

JP: You've clearly mastered the art of making the complex feel effortless. Walk us through your

signature methodology - not the what, but the why. What quantum leap in thinking separates your

approach from everyone else's?

Anjel...

After 2013, it took me 3 years to really get to the core of what I was here to deliver to the world - the fundamental

principles of creating and living a Wealthy Life by DESIGN. One thing I realized was that Wealth is more than just

the money; it’s the sum total of ALL the resources we have available to us. I use the acronym THIEF to enumerate

those resources - because most of us are actually STEALING from ourselves in one or more of these areas in our

attempts to fit in or stand out in an imbalanced way. THIEF stands for Time, Health, Imagination (which is a

combination of our Intellect and Intuition), Ecosystem of Exchange (which is where money exchange happens but

also includes our social capital) and FUN with our Friends, Family & Fellow Travelers on the beautiful journey of

life.

Once I had these landmarks, I was then able to create my Wealthy Life Method(), which takes clients through a

process of inventorying and activating their power of choice to walk away from what’s not working and clarifying

their own unique value set as a first step, welcoming their Wealthy Life by Design(). Most if not all of my clients

have some sort of “calling” to serve with their own business as well - so as a natural extension of this work we also

offer our Big Money Business Strategy Intensive() and our Wisdom To Wealth Mentorship() all highly

customized experiences that we’ve leveraged to support our exceptional clients around the world who have

collectively generated in excess of $100,000,000 in revenues and impacted millions globally.

If your ideal client could peek behind the velvet rope of your process, what would surprise them

most about how transformation actually happens?

Anjel...

Truth is that 90% of all success is all about the Inner Game. Especially now with AI and the proliferation of

information that is available to “DIY” - whether it’s self-inquiry or self-employment - there is NO LACK of

information. There are, however, deep patterns of lack and unworthiness that surface quickly when the decision is

made to make your life BETTER. All of what I call the “Demons of Doubt” start to get really loud, and selfsabotage

tries to take over the stage.

Recently one of our clients who has a multimillion dollar vision in the process of being created and who is

considered to be in the top 2% of the world in her industry was embroiled in a lawsuit and was spending a ton of

energy, power and intelligence on the minutia of this lawsuit instead of keeping most of her focus on the vision that

is in creation. One new client for her business is worth a minimum of $800,000.00, yet the desire to win in a suit

where $2,000,000.00 is at stake was taking precedence. Once we got up underneath the real drivers behind why

she was focusing so much of her power on the $2,000,000 lawsuit instead of on the business where four clients

would bring in at least that much if not more, she was able to make the mindset and emotional shift and is about

to be covered in a major magazine and platform with 20,000,000 downloads a month and she’s actively booking

herself to network and speak in front of ideal audiences for her $800,000.00 offer!


The Style & Strategy

Symphony:

JP: Your personal style clearly isn't accidental - it's strategic. How do you use your image and

energy as business assets rather than mere accessories?

Anjel...

I actually have three different brands that I am building

and operating, in addition to the Wealthy Life Mentor

brand. The other two brands - Wickedly Smart Women® and

Leading Visionaries are centered around the podcasts I

started under those same names. What I’ve discovered

about my style is that with each brand, I shapeshift a bit

and show up slightly differently.

My main brand, I use my image and energy in a way that

signals to the prospective client that YES, you can have a

Wealthy Life By Design() and that life can be built in a

way that allows you to be relaxed, casual, and ultimately

WELL.

How that is transmitted visually is through showing myself in

nature, having fun, wearing comfortable clothes that allow

me to feel relaxed and move with ease. I then generally pair

this imagery with written content that is meant to inspire

and demonstrate in an authentic way that this is the REAL

me living my own Wealthy Life By Design and not some

cookie-cutter manufactured version or vision. Truthfully, I

don’t really think of it strategically so much, I’m just me

being me - and that being said, one of the comments that I

get quite frequently is “You are so REAL and grounded”.

In terms of the other two brands - with Wickedly Smart

Women® which is 6 years old as of September 2025.

The intention is to present myself as an example of

empowerment and natural shameless self-expression &

leadership to the women in more than 125 countries around

the world who are tuning in to the 14X Award winning show

and who are reading the International Best Selling book

that was a collaborative effort created under the brand

umbrella with 17 co-authors and of course our Wickedly

Smart Women® S.M.A.R.T. S.T.A.R.T Consultancy Blueprint &

Build Experience.

Ideally, I intend to transmit and embody a welcoming

presence with this brand and for women speaking up,

sharing their truth and shining their light on a global scale.

“youngest” of the brands and since

winning show that it’s being built

around is non-gender specific and

seeks to elevate, celebrate and

spotlight guests who are Ingenious,

their visions to life or expand/grow

via investment capital.

My presence in this brand is

transmitted in a way that is

with the grounded rooted financial

resources to allow for long-term

term sustainable impact.


When someone experiences your work, what do you want them to feel first - before they even

understand what you've taught them?

Anjel...

I want them to feel truly seen, heard, affirmed, and, above all, self-empowered. My work is to create a catalyzing

container both structurally and metaphysically within which my clients can really fully embody and enliven their

authentic calling to serve the world in some way - regardless of the industry - they are what I call the “sleeper cells”

who are here to create conscious change and often what they most need is for someone like me to be able to see

and affirm their brilliance, uniqueness and absolute ability to do the thing (or things because my clients are also

highly creative and iterative and multidimensional and multi-potentialite and quite literally either already WORLD

CLASS or on their way to that distinction!)

A recent client sent the following text to me the other day: It feels like I'm on the brink of transforming

everything as a result of acknowledging this truth about how I show up, and giving myself

permission to do it completely different than anyone else. Once harnessed and fully internalized, I'm

unstoppable.

The Industry Revolution:

JP: What industry "rule" did you decide to elegantly break, and how has that rebellion become

your signature competitive advantage?

Anjel...

Launching - launching nearly killed me multiple times - and frankly, I spent WAY too many years

beating myself up about launching. After all, I am “Wickedly Smart” and I could not for the life of

me understand what the problem was when I poured out so much energy for so little return. Two

things are now abundantly clear - I am literally not made for offering lower ticket anything, and

that choosing not chasing the high and ultra high ticket clients (5-6 figure investors) who come in

to work with me in a highly personalized and customized boutique style experience is essential.

Launching anything - unless it’s going to be EVERGREEN - like the podcasts - is a big fat NOPE

for me. Being positioned as a host where I am choosing the guests for our shows was the first step

to flipping the dynamic for me. The positioning also makes me and my brands much more

magnetic, so we have the “pick of the litter”, so to speak, who are coming to us to hire our team.

JP: If you could have a private conversation with every woman in your field, what would you tell

them about the gap between where they are and where they could be?

Anjel...

That gap is absolutely surmountable, and the most important thing you can do is to make certain

you are investing in yourself first and foremost. I would also advise them to be mindful when

making investments, to begin with investments that are going to be foundational.

I spent 20 years in real estate so I like to use real estate metaphors and one thing I see far too

many people do when they get started in their own small business is chase after the shiny objects

- it’s like buying the curtains for the 2nd floor guest bedroom before the foundation has been dug

and the cement set and the framing put in on the house.

Investing to get the foundation in place both structurally and internally is key, and that’s

essentially what we help our incoming clients do across all 3 brands - which sometimes means we

are guiding them to STOP DOING some of the things they started that are not aligned with

where they are currently in their growth stage.

I have lots of clients who’ve started podcasts that I have asked to suspend their show until we get

some fundamental foundational financially flowing assets and structures in place and only after

that work is done do we then look at whether or not their podcast is something to leverage,

change or simply let go into the “podfade” zone where most shows end up because the creators

aren’t “thinking about the money”.


The Legacy Luxury:

JP: Fast forward 10 years - when people

speak about the shift you catalyzed in your

industry, what transformation will you be

remembered for pioneering?

Anjel...

I want people (and particularly women) to realize

that they are potent, powerful, purposeful creators -

that they genuinely can bring their vision into reality,

create the conscious change that the planet called

them here to make manifest and that they are

capable of creating plenitude financially, more than

enough, every day, all the time AND that they can

also live a rich, full, and fully enjoyable life - that they

don’t have to self sacrifice for delivering their service

into the bowl of life.

JP: If your life philosophy could be distilled into a single piece of advice for ambitious women,

what would be your parting wisdom?

Anjel...

Probably, there have been many phases in my

journey where things weren’t looking too good “on

paper” from a financial perspective.

These phases can be DIRECTLY tied to the

emotional/spiritual and mental well-being of my

offspring and intimate relationships. These were

also times when I was putting everyone else’s

needs (financial and otherwise) way above my

own. In fact, I was 38 years old before a childhood

friend asked me a potent question when we

connected for our 20th High School Reunion that

was instrumental in changing the course of my life.

She asked, “What is it that YOU want?” and quite

literally, it was the first time ANYONE had ever

asked me that question. Having been raised in

what now would be characterized as a highly

be far easier to come up with the hook once you

have written the entire talk, if you start by trying

to write the hook, don’t be surprised if you get

stuck.

2.The Problem — highlight the challenge your

audience faces, something they instantly

recognise.

3.The Shift — share your insight, your perspective,

the turning point that creates possibility. How do

you approach this differently from anyone else?

What’s unique about your approach?

4.The Vision — paint the picture of what’s possible

for them.

5.The Call-In — invite them into your world, your

community, your way of thinking.

This isn’t about cramming in everything you know.

It’s about creating clarity, energy, and connection.

When working with clients, the biggest mistake I see

is them cramming in as much of their wisdom as

possible in a bid to impress the audience. A great

talk is not a lecture, it’s a moment.


Make It a Conversation, Not a Monologue

One of the biggest mistakes speakers make is talking at their

audience. World-class speaking is not about performing a

perfectly polished script; it’s about connection.

It’s easy to focus on the wrong things, the stumbles, the nerves, the

‘erms.’ But your audience doesn’t remember those moments. What

they remember is how you lit something up inside them, how you

inspired them, how you made them feel unstoppable. I am yet to

meet a client who doesn’t worry about stumbling over their words

or how many times they say “erm.” But guess what? Your audience

doesn’t care.

If you inspire them, if you make them feel something that lingers

long after you’ve left the stage, they won’t remember the stumbles.

They won’t even notice. They’ll remember the moment of clarity

you gave them, the sense of possibility you awakened, the shift you

sparked inside them.

That is what world-class speakers do. They don’t aim for perfection.

They aim for impact.

Because people don’t walk away from a talk saying, “She never

said erm.” They walk away saying, “She made me think differently.

She made me believe I could do it. She made me feel

unstoppable.”

When you focus less on polished delivery and more on authentic

4. Practice Your ‘Power Circle’

Tip: Create a list of 5 events, masterminds, or

communities where your ideal collaborators or

clients already hang out. Commit to showing up

and speaking (even briefly) in at least one this

month.

Speaking in the right rooms positions you as a

trusted expert. Your next collaboration or

referral often comes from being visible where it

matters, not just everywhere.

5. Have a Follow-Up System (Even a Simple

One)

Tip: After any talk, webinar, or networking event,

message 3 people you connected with and

follow up with a voice note or personalised

message.

Keep it simple: “It was fab to meet you. I loved

what you said about X. If you’re up for a chat or

a collaboration idea, let me know!”

Relationships aren’t built from one moment,

they grow with intentional follow-up. Most

people don’t follow up, so when you do, you

stand out.

I know the power of speaking from experience,

literally! When I launched my very first small

stage event, I had no idea just how much it

good for all.

Why elevating frequency is the missing

key to true success

We are fully aware of the power of good emotional, mental, and physical health in

business. These three pillars are not optional extras but the very foundations of true

leadership, resilience, and sustainable growth. When people thrive in body, mind, and

spirit, their energy naturally radiates outwards, lifting those around them. In business, this

creates a culture of coherence where creativity, productivity, and profitability flow

together.

Yet stress remains the greatest saboteur of success. In the UK, the Health and Safety

Executive reported that over 35 million working days were lost in 2022/23 due to workrelated

stress, depression, and anxiety, making it the leading cause of sickness absence.

Stress does not only harm people; it harms performance, relationships, and profit.

Alongside stress, the clash of incompatible personalities silently erodes workplace

harmony. Without awareness and emotional intelligence, unresolved friction creates

heavy energy that blocks creativity and fractures collaboration. A team can only rise to

the frequency of its lowest resonance.

If businesses are to thrive in today’s evolving world, the conversation must expand

beyond systems and strategy. The true edge lies in energy.

At the most fundamental level, everything is energy. Every cell, every thought, every

emotion carries a frequency. When these frequencies are harmonious, we feel clarity,

Behind the vision lies evidence. In the UK, workplace

stress, anxiety, and depression are estimated to cost

employers £28 billion annually in absence, turnover,

and lost productivity. Each case of stress-related

illness leads to an average of 19.6 days lost per worker.

These figures point to a simple truth: low frequency

costs money. High frequency creates wealth - not just

financial, but also cultural, relational, and creative.

So how do we move from knowing this truth to living it?

The path is both simple and profound. It begins with

awareness: noticing where stress, conflict, or

disconnection is draining energy. Assessment comes

When Having It All Still Leaves You

Feeling Empty

Meet Sarah, a 47-year-old partner at one of the most prestigious law firms

in the country. Her LinkedIn profile read like a highlight reel: law degree from

a top-tier school, high six-figure salary, corner office, luxury travel. But when

she came to me she was genuinely confused – she had achieved

everything that was expected of her and more— and yet, she felt

something was missing.

“Why does my life feel so empty?” she asked.

Sarah isn’t alone. She was caught in what’s called the Success–Fulfillment

Paradox — the growing reality for many high performers who achieve at

elevated levels but still feel an undercurrent of emptiness inside.

Why Success Doesn’t Always Equal Fulfillment

Many of us have been conditioned to measure success by external

markers: revenue, titles, accolades, properties, experiences that

photograph well. And while these things can be meaningful in the short

term, they’re not inherently fulfilling — especially for us high achievers who

are wired to keep pushing the finish line farther down the road. We want our

efforts to rise to the level of world-class impact and influence, so anything

less than excellence just isn’t how we roll!

But for many, the Success-Fulfillment Paradox shows up in subtle, insidious

ways. Perhaps you find yourself ticking off accomplishments one after

another, yet the excitement fades almost immediately. Or maybe you’re

exhausted from chasing the next promotion, client, or milestone, and when

you pause, the emptiness quietly surfaces. It might feel as if you’re living

someone else’s playbook—performing at peak capacity yet disconnected

from what truly energizes and inspires you. You may notice a sense of

restlessness that no accolade, bonus, or recognition can satisfy, a quiet but

growing sense that there has to be more than this.

The Success-Fulfillment Paradox isn’t a reflection of failure or inadequacy in

you—not at all! Rather, it’s a signal. It’s your Inner Self alerting you that

external success alone isn’t enough to create the meaningful, vibrant life

you were always meant to live.

Oftentimes high achievers realize they’re experiencing this phenomenon

only after reaching milestones that they know “should” feel extraordinary

but instead leave them with a nagging sense of incompleteness.

So, without some kind of intervention or shift in the trajectory

of our efforts, we continue to do what we’ve learned to do so

well for so long—we put our heads down and soldier on

towards the next goal line, the next accomplishment, the next

shining rung on the ladder. But they can be funny things, those

ladders. Especially when, as social activist Thomas Merton so

powerfully expresses, we get to the top only to realize the

ladder was leaning against the wrong wall all along.

World-class performance isn’t sustainable if it’s disconnected

from who you are at your core. The most impactful achievers

understand that alignment transforms effort into energy.

When your goals, actions, and values are in sync, the victories

you create don’t deplete you—they recharge you. Success

then becomes a self-reinforcing cycle: the more you achieve

from a place of alignment, the more clarity, motivation, and

fulfillment you experience, amplifying both performance and

life satisfaction simultaneously.

What Creates the Success-Fulfillment Paradox?

Let’s take a look at the 4 key factors that contribute to

this growing phenomenon.

1. Living by external values. Far too many of us high

performers have built our careers on values we didn’t

consciously choose. We’ve been taught to pursue

financial security, status, and societal approval. These

metrics can be motivating, but they’re often

disconnected from what actually fuels personal

meaning, which, for many women includes connection,

compassion, and collaboration.

As observed by Viktor Frankl, a survivor of Nazi

concentration camps and the founder of logotherapy,

our search for meaning — not success — is the ultimate

human motivator. Without alignment to our authentic

values, achievement can feel hollow.


2. Getting caught up in the hedonic treadmill. Have

you ever noticed that when you achieve a new level in

your life, whether it’s a promotion, a salary raise, a

bigger home, and so on, you very quickly adjust to that

level, and it becomes your new normal?

That tendency is known as the “hedonic treadmill,” and

it’s characterized by a relatively quick return to the

same baseline of happiness that existed before the

upgrade. We hold the belief that once we’ve achieved

our Next Big Goal, then we’ll feel happier, more satisfied,

and more fulfilled for the rest of our days. But the reality

is that we often revert to our former level of happiness

and satisfaction much more quickly than we thought

we would.

3. Disconnection from the Authentic Self. Highperformance

cultures reward masculine qualities such

as competitiveness, logic, and relentless drive. Over

time, equally vital but lesser-valued traits such as

intuition, connection, and playfulness are sidelined.

When these parts of our inner landscape go dormant,

achievement can feel strangely disconnected from us.

4. The isolation of competition. Success culture often

breeds comparison and competition. As we climb, the

air thins — and so does our circle. Without intentional

connection to peers who share our values, it’s easy to

feel alone at the top.

Consider Maria, a 52-year-old corporate executive.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth for those of us who want to

operate at world-class levels of impact and influence: You can’t

outperform with an identity you’ve outgrown.

Why? Because your identity sets the ceiling for your level of

performance.

If your self-image — the quiet, inner, default sense of who you are

— hasn’t evolved along with your outer achievements, you’ll hit an

invisible ceiling. And it’s not just a limit on upward movement; it

can also stall the deeper, more meaningful growth you crave.

This ceiling isn’t about capability. It’s about congruence. High

achievers often mistake capability for capacity: “If I can do more, I

should do more.” But if your identity lags behind your

accomplishments, every new win will feel increasingly hollow and

difficult. The congruence arises naturally when you’re doing what

you know you were always meant to do.

Breaking the Paradox: Where Fulfillment Meets

Achievement

Realigning success with fulfillment doesn’t mean you need to

dismantle everything you’ve built. Rather, it’s about upgrading the

operating system that runs how you think, what you do, and how

you show up in the world.

When your internal identity, decisions, and presence match the

future you want to live, opportunities stop feeling like something

you need to chase, and they start showing up naturally, almost as

if by magic.

Here are four ways to start that realignment:

1. Reconnect with your core values. Identify what truly lights you

up — not just what looks impressive on paper. Ask:

When do I feel most aligned with my authentic self?

What legacy do I want to leave in my work and in my life?

Your most meaningful values often reveal themselves in

moments when you felt most alive.

2. Apply the “deathbed test.” Imagine looking back on your life

as you take your final breaths. What would you regret not doing?

Rarely is the answer “worked longer hours” or “won more awards.”

More often, it’s not having been fully present for the people and

passions that mattered most to you. Use this perspective to

recalibrate where you spend your energy now.

3. Redefine success — on your terms. Success is personal. Create

metrics that reflect what matters to you: depth of relationships,

creative expression, contribution to causes you believe in. Worldclass

impact happens only when you’re operating from genuine

alignment with your values.


4. Seek expert guidance. Sometimes the identity shift needed to break the Success-Fulfillment Paradox

CONFESSION

I have a confession. I'm slightly

addicted to talent shows.

Britain's Got Talent, X Factor, The

Voice - I'm that person shouting at

the TV "Can't you see how brilliant

she is?!" while the judges are still

squinting and deliberating. My family

thinks I'm entertainment-obsessed.

My friends roll their eyes when I

predict the winner from the

auditions.

This fascination isn't new. I've always

had a natural penchant for

championing dreamers, as you know if

you’ve been in my universe for a while.

And if I'm being completely honest, I've

always been utterly obsessed with My

Fair Lady - that story of

transformation, of seeing potential

where others see problems, of

believing so deeply in someone's

brilliance that you help them become

who they were always meant to be.

But here's what I've realised: I wasn't

just watching for entertainment. I

was studying the art of recognising

world-class potential before anyone

else did.

There's something about that

moment when someone steps onto

the stage - maybe they're nervous,

maybe their presentation isn't

perfect - but there's an energy, a

presence, a raw brilliance that

makes you think "This one. This one is

special." While everyone else focuses

on the polished performance, I'm

seeing the diamond waiting to be

revealed.

Let me share something that will

probably make you uncomfortable.

Right now, there are women in your

industry - perhaps less experienced,

It's not because they're better at what

Brilliant entrepreneurs assume these

gatekeepers will somehow discover

them organically. They won't.

Gatekeepers are busy, overwhelmed,

and default to working with people

who are already in their network or

who've been strategically introduced.

The Confidence

Catch-22:

The most transformational

entrepreneurs often struggle with

imposter syndrome precisely

because they see their impact so

clearly. They know how much more

they could achieve with greater

visibility, which makes the gap

between their current reach and

their potential impact feel enormous.

Meanwhile, their less capable

competitors have no such

awareness - they confidently put

themselves forward for every

opportunity, regardless of whether

they're qualified.


The Strategic Placement Gap: This

is the big one. In entertainment,

talent agencies don't just find

opportunities for their clients - they

create them. They produce

showcases, arrange introductions,

negotiate partnerships, and

strategically position their talent

for maximum impact.

In business? You're expected to do

all of this yourself while also

The uncomfortable truth? You can be the
