CorelDraw Tutorial: Make your own ebook

1. The very first thing you do is create a new document and set it with the following:

2. Type in the text you want or for the sake of this tutorial, you can go to http://www.lipsum.com

and copy the Lorem Ipsum text as your sample text.

3. Once the text was copied, select the Text tool and Left Click on your document but do

not let go of the left mouse yet, drag it until it’ll turn to to Paragraph Text. Now, select the

Pick tool and resize your Paragraph Text to 8 x 10.5, select it and press P to center the whole

Paragraph Text. See the image below:

4. Now, while the Pick tool is selected, double click it or you can try selecting the Text Tool

and click the Paragraph Text to start typing, on our case, since we copied the Lorem Ipsum

we’ll just have to press CTRL+V or simply click the Paste Button. Keep on re-pasting until

your Paragraph Text is full. See the Zoom Out result.

5. Since the Paragraph Text is full, you can import any image on your computer and make

it a part of the ebook you’re making.

6. Assuming you already imported an image to your document, place the image anywhere

on the Paragraph aph Text and Wrap it up.

7. Once you’re satisfied with the placement of your image, time to publish it to PDF. Go to

File and choose Publish to PDF. An option bar will appear, add a file name to your PDF file

and choose setting to see the PDF settings.

8. The most important settings is the located at the Document Tab and it’s the Author field

and that would be your name.

9. You can also go to the Security Tab and set a password for your Ebook. Once you

are satisfied with the settings, just click OK. Congratulations! You can now create

your own PDF file / Ebook using CorelDraw.

Hooray! Your file is uploaded and ready to be published.
