Meanwhile, around half of U.S. churchgoers are
unfamiliar with the Great Commission. For 22 years,
GPPD has been passionate about sharing and showing
God’s love through a biblical understanding of God’s
heart for all nations. Through international aid,
discipleship, short-term teams, empowerment, and now
local experiences and education at the GO Center (see
page 16), we continue to answer Christ’s call to make

Livestock Contract Program
Since last year’s catalog season, the majority of
our livestock recipients in Uganda have joined
a livestock committee by signing a contract of
mutual commitment. Through this agreement,
each recipient pledges to “pay forward” the
first two offspring of their livestock gift — one
to our local partners for future distributions
and another to a local individual in need,
selected by the committee. Regular followup
visits provide accountability and ensure
long-term sustainability. This proven model,
developed by our partner, In the Garden
Missions, has already demonstrated great
impact. We recently implemented a similar
model during our July 2025 trip to Guatemala.
We are excited to expand this approach to
additional countries in the near future.
