Burtonwood Community Centre Beer Festival 2025
Welcome...
... to the 10th Burtonwood Community Centre Charity Beer Festival.
It is great to welcome friends old and new to this fantastic community event.
Once again we are supporting local charities
at the festival. In the past few years we have
raised thousands of pounds for good causes,
and this year will be no different as we
support two worthy local charities: The
Willow Tree Hub, and St Rocco’s Hospice.
These are two fabulous causes that rely on
local fundraising, and I know the money we
raise this weekend will be put to very good
use. Find out more about them on page 7.
Thanks to all our sponsors, without whom
we could not bring such an event together.
Our main sponsor is the Thomas Hardy
Bottling Group; thanks too to Scott’s Deli, for

CHARITIES
The Willow Tree Hub
This weekend we are proud to support two great local charities:
The Willow Tree Hub and St Rocco’s Hospice
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals Charity (WHH Charity) has launched an appeal to raise
£200,000 to create the Willow Tree Hub – a dedicated space providing comfort, privacy and
specialist support for families coping with the heartbreaking loss of a baby.
Each family’s pregnancy journey is unique, but for those experiencing baby loss or recovering
from a traumatic birth it can be overwhelming, particularly in a busy hospital setting.
Families may be told devastating news in rooms where they can hear women in labour and
babies’ newborn cries. Returning for follow-up care can also be extremely distressing and a
reminder of their past experience.
The Willow Tree Hub will provide a calm and private space where families can grieve, reflect, and
receive the help and guidance they need in a compassionate and supportive setting.

St Rocco’s Hospice
St Rocco’s ethos is to support people in the Warrington community from the moment they are
diagnosed with an illness that is no longer curable. We look after people over the age of 18 years
with any kind of life-limiting illness; this can include heart failure, respiratory conditions, and
neurological diseases.
We also support families and loved ones. When someone is ill, life can be turned upside down for
their family and for friends and carers. That’s why we’re here for everyone that needs us, for as
long as they need.
The patient is always at the heart of everything we do, and all our services are free of charge. We
rely wholly on donations. For more information, see https://www.stroccos.org.uk
