About
us
Meixner. Manfred Meixner (Mag.) was born
in Güssing, Burgenland, Austria in 1964. Having
originally studied German Literature and
History, Manfred has been in the industry since
1995. To be more precise he was responsible for
an industry magazine, ‘austropack’, until 2010.
In the autumn of this year he joined up with
Gernot Rath (Mag.) to launch the trade publication
‘Pack & Log’.
He became notorious for well crafted editorials
that never even touched on the issues of packaging or intralogistics.
They did however betray his literary origins as a reader, a writer and
an active Kafka researcher. In reality he is responsible for sales and
customer care; a field in which he has collected immense knowledge
over the decades.

Rath. Gernot Rath (Mag.) was born in Vienna,
Austria in 1968. He studied history and
journalism and has been in the industry since
2000. Together with Manfred Meixner (Mag.)
he produced the trade publication ‘austropack’.
In the autumn of 2010 they launched a new
magazine, the ‘Pack & Log’. Gernot manages
the everyday journalistic functions of this publication
and if there’s an interesting story around,
he’s there. He believes the only real way a reader
can gain practical benefits is if proposed
solutions stem from practical knowledge of the business. Success is
dependent upon the loyalty of both readers and advertisers. This can
only be achieved by guaranteeing quality, mutual cooperation and
continuity.
