Oh, dear friend, calm doesn’t just happen—it’s

something you choose, and sometimes choose

again and again throughout the day.

I may look peaceful stretched out in cozy bed,

but that’s because I make rest a priority. Humans

often forget they’re allowed to pause.

Start by setting aside small pockets of time,

even five minutes, specifically for unwinding.

Treat it like an appointment you can’t cancel.

During that time, breathe deeply, stretch, sip

something warm, or simply sit and be still. You’d

be amazed at what a tiny break can reset. Also,

look at your schedule with honest eyes. Are

there things you can let go of or move to

another day?

Life tastes better when it isn’t all rushed. And

don’t forget the joy of simple pleasures—a short

walk, a favorite snack, a quiet moment in the

morning. Relaxation isn’t a luxury; it’s fuel. Even

the busiest human deserves that.

The dog lived with
