Congrats to the Folsom High School
varsity football team who captured
their sixth CIF State Championship in
seven title appearances. The Folsom
Bulldogs took the crown with a 42-28
victory over Cathedral Catholic at
Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
Congrats to Adam Green for being
appointed the new chief of the Folsom
Police Department (folsom.ca.us/police).
Green brings more than 24 years of
law enforcement experience, executive
leadership, and public safety expertise to the
role; most recently, he served as deputy chief
with the Sacramento Police Department.
The Folsom Chapter of National Charity League (nationalcharityleague.org/chapter/
folsom), the nation’s premier mother-daughter volunteer organization, is hosting its Annual
Membership Drive from January 15-March 1. Prospective members must reside in Folsom or
the surrounding areas and have a daughter currently enrolled in grades 6-7. For more info and
