A BIG hello to Alphabet Forest.
We’re going on a journey through various parts
of the Alphabet Forest. This book focuses on
an area with lots of nature, in the shape of a
letter D. All the animals there are named
with the letter D, and all the and all the things
they get up to often happens around words
which begin with the letter D.
We hope you have a lot of fun when
you read the adventure.
After the story ends you see a page with how
many words in the story start with the letter D,
can you count them as you go along and see if
you get the right number at the end.
In the next adventure, it will all be about
the letter ‘E’, introducing new characters
and a wonderful new adventure.
Enjoy the story and have fun.

chapter 1
DELIGHTFUL DAY FOR DISCOVERY
Daisy declared it a delightful day for
discovery.
Denzel agreed, dreaming of daring
destinations. Dotty danced in dizzy
circles. Dexter dashed around,
determined to cause delightful mischief.
Delilah, ever gentle, reminded them
that God delights in guiding every
creature who desires to do good.
Together they decided on a daring
daytime adventure through the deep
woodland. Daisy drew a direction in the
dirt, Denzel delivered a determined nod,
and Dexter delighted in the drama.
With joyful hearts they dashed into
the day, trusting God to direct every
determined step.

chapter 2
DEXTER'S DIZZY DETOUR
Dexter darted off, declaring he had
discovered a dazzling detour.
Dotty doubted him, Denzel disapproved,
and Delilah delivered a gentle warning.
Yet Daisy decided they should follow,
determined not to divide the group.
Dexter’s detour delivered dizzying twists,
dodgy dips, and dramatic ditches. Dotty
nearly dropped into one, but Denzel dived
to defend her. Dexter finally admitted he
did not know where the detour drifted.
Daisy reminded him that God delights
when friends stay devoted to one another.
Dexter drooped apologetically. Delilah
encouraged him gently, and together they
redirected their steps into safer daylight.

DAISY DECLARES A PLAN
Daisy decided it was time for a
dependable plan.
Denzel drew a detailed diagram in the
dust. Dotty decorated it with daisies.
Dexter dramatically declared himself the
leader, but Delilah delicately disagreed.
Daisy directed everyone to use their
different strengths. Dotty discovered
delicious berries for lunch. Denzel
determined the safest direction. Delilah
delivered encouragement. Dexter danced
around them, doing daring dog tricks to
lift spirits.
Daisy declared they would show kindness
through every difficulty, just as God
demonstrates kindness daily. With a
delighted cheer, they departed further
into the deep woodland.

THE DRUMMING DRIFTWOOD BRIDGE
They reached a drumming driftwood bridge
that rattled with every delicate step.
Dexter dashed first, causing the driftwood
to drum dangerously. Dotty demanded he
slow down. Denzel demonstrated deliberate
steps. Daisy delivered calm directions
while Delilah prayed gently for God’s
help. Together they crossed as the bridge
drummed beneath them like a determined
drummer. Dexter declared it delightful.
Dotty disagreed. Denzel dusted himself off
proudly. Daisy decided they had learned
the value of steady determination.
With the bridge behind them and courage
developing within them, they continued
deeper into the woodland.

DOTTY FINDS A DARING DETAIL
Dotty discovered a dusty scroll beneath a
drooping fern.
Daisy delicately unrolled it. Denzel
deciphered the drawings. Delilah declared
it delightful. Dexter danced excitedly,
demanding drama. The scroll described
a distant destination where something
dazzling and divine waited in the deep
forest. Dotty delighted in her discovery.
Daisy believed God was directing their
steps with purpose. Denzel decided they
should follow the detailed markings.
Delilah delivered a gentle reminder
to stay united. Dexter dashed ahead
again but this time returned quickly,
determined not to disappoint. With hearts
dancing, they followed the dotted trail.

chapter 6
THE GIANT D IN THE FOREST
They drifted into a dim clearing and
gasped.
Before them stood a giant D carved
from dark driftwood. Moss draped its
edges like delicate decorations. Daisy
circled it, declaring it delightful. Denzel
determined it symbolised direction. Dotty
danced around it, dizzy with wonder.
Dexter drooled dramatically, unsure what
it meant. Delilah discerned that the D
reminded them to depend on God, display
kindness, and deepen their courage.
The forest seemed to glow as daylight
dripped through the branches. The
companions decided to carry the D’s
message throughout their daring journey.

chapter 7
DENZEL'S DETERMINED DEFENCE
As they travelled deeper, a drooping branch
dropped dangerously near Dotty.
Denzel dashed forward, defending her
with determined bravery. Dotty delivered
grateful squeaks. Dexter performed
dramatic growls as if he had done the
saving. Daisy declared Denzel dependable.
Delilah delivered warm encouragement,
reminding them that God gives courage
when danger draws near. Denzel downplayed
his deed but felt a deep warmth inside.
Dotty decorated him with a daisy crown.
With determination strengthened, they
continued along the dusty path, drawing
closer to their destination.

DELILAH'S DAYLIGHT DISCOVERY
Delilah discovered a dazzling pool where
daylight danced across the water.
Dotty dipped her paws delightedly. Dexter
dove in dramatically, causing a massive
splash that doused everyone. Daisy
disciplined him gently, reminding him
that delight should not destroy others’
fun. Denzel drank deeply from the cool
water. Delilah declared the pool a gift that
demonstrated God’s daily care. Rested and
refreshed, the group dried themselves under
drifting sunbeams.
Daisy decided it was time to draw nearer
to the place described on the scroll. With
delighted determination, they departed.

DEXTER'S DARING DECISION
Two diverging paths demanded a decision.
Dexter dramatically insisted he should
decide this time. Dotty doubted him.
Denzel deliberated. Daisy deferred to the
group. Delilah encouraged Dexter to draw
on what he had learned. Dexter breathed
deeply, determined to do right. He chose
the path decorated with daisies, believing
God would direct them. Dotty discovered
the same flower markings on the scroll.
Denzel declared Dexter’s decision
dependable. Dexter danced with delight,
proud of his developing discernment.
Together they dashed down the daisy-lined
direction.

THE DELICIOUS DANDELION MEADOW
They discovered a delightful meadow
drifting with dandelion fluff.
Dotty dove into the soft drifts. Dexter
danced dramatically, disappearing
under dandelions. Daisy declared it
a delicious place for lunch. Denzel
distributed berries. Delilah delivered a
gentle reminder to thank God for daily
provision. As they dined in the dazzling
meadow, Dotty spotted distant shapes.
Daisy decided they should draw closer.
Dexter darted ahead but stayed within
sight.
With their spirits lifted and their
determination renewed, they departed
toward the distant shapes.

THE DESTINATION REVEALED
The companions drifted into a decorated
glade where dozens of woodland
creatures danced with joy.
They had prepared a delightful
celebration to display gratitude for the
group’s kindness. Daisy delivered a
thankful bow. Denzel dashed forward
to greet them. Dotty delighted in the
dancing. Dexter performed his dramatic
dog leaps to cheers. Delilah declared
that God delights when communities
draw together. The glade glowed with
lantern light. The friends dined on
delicious treats while music drifted
through the trees.
Their determined journey was drawing
to its joyful destination.

A DEEPLY DELIGHTFUL ENDING
As dusk drifted across the forest, the
companions decided to return home.
Daisy declared their adventure deeply
delightful. Denzel felt strengthened
by determination. Dotty danced with
newfound confidence. Dexter proudly
displayed his developing discipline. Delilah
delighted in how God had directed them
at every turn. They carried the message
of the giant D in their hearts. When they
finally reached their den, they felt deeply
changed. Their daring, delightful journey
had taught them devotion, courage, and
kindness.
And so they drifted into peaceful dreams,
ready for the next day God would design
for them.
