A sustainable Europe is the focus of the

trendsetting EU Youth Cinema: Green

Deal (EUYC:GD) project. It makes an

important contribution to the

appreciation and understanding of the

EU climate strategy and provides an

international platform for a multicultural

approach to the green programme. It is

located in the field of European

dialogues and is therefore politically

absolutely neutral and democratic.

Our unique educational offer with a sustainable focus brings the green

agenda to European citizens of all backgrounds through films and

discussions in cinemas and an innovative, multilingual streaming platform

with a strong didactic narrative available at www.euyc.green. The project

especially engages with the young audience on environmental challenges

and promotes green habits and a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.

As part of the Climate Pact Partnerships, we would like to provide you with

to the sound of traditional Portuguese music, which

the lake and all the lives that depend on it are highly

uncertain.

actions initiated in the 1960s, the Aral Sea is drying up.

People who stayed in once port city, now live 150 km

away from the coast, nursing memories of fishing

power and dreams of the return of great water.

combines the devastating effects of coal exploitation in

Colombia with the power plant in Plomin into one story.

For many years, this power plant has been largely

supplied with Colombian coal, including from the notorious

El Cerrejón, one of the largest coal mines in the

world.
