GENERAL INFORMATION<br />

1. What is the qualification period for the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>?<br />

1 st November 2023 to 31 st March <strong>2024</strong> (5 months)<br />

2. Do I need to register for this promotion, and is there a time limit?<br />

Yes – You have until 29 th February <strong>2024</strong> to register via the Virtual Office by adding SKU 44909 to<br />

your next Standard or Essential Rewards order for $10AUD/NZD<br />

3. If I enrol a new member during the qualification period and they are interested in the promotion, are<br />

they able to participate?<br />

Yes – if they enrol before the 29 th February, they must register via the Virtual Office. If they enrol after<br />

Thursday 29 th February <strong>2024</strong>, they will need to contact the Sales and Education Team via<br />

salesed@youngliving.com.au<br />

4. When will <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> be taking place?<br />

The <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> trip is scheduled for the 15 th -21 st July <strong>2024</strong>. Please refer to ‘General Prize<br />

Conditions/Important Information’ for alternative plans should travel restrictions impact this date.<br />

5. Can a non-Australian or New Zealand member participate in the incentive?<br />

This promotion is open to active members of Young Living, who are 18 years of age or older, who have<br />

registered for the promotion via SKU 44909 and have their primary business and residential address<br />

listed as Australia or New Zealand during the promotional period.<br />

6. When will the qualifiers be notified?<br />

Qualifiers for the <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>USA</strong> <strong>2024</strong> will be notified on or around 19 th April <strong>2024</strong>. Should this change,<br />

you will be informed. All qualifiers will receive an email to the email address registered on their Young<br />

Living account, with all details pertaining to the trip and what to do next.<br />

7. How will Young Living select winners in the event of a tie?<br />

In the event of a tie, Young Living AUNZ will assign prizes based on the first brand partner to reach<br />

the necessary qualification criteria and nominated points totals. Young Living reserves the right to


award additional prizes to any participant for any reason, at its sole discretion of Young Living<br />

Essential Oils (Australasia) PTY LTD.<br />

8. What are the basic criteria?<br />

Invite: Personally enrol others.<br />

CRITERIA & POINTS<br />

Advance: Help your personal enrollees (from May 1 st , 2023) to advance rank; advance rank yourselfqualifiers,<br />

must have ranked Senior Star or higher during the qualification period<br />

Maintain: Help your new personal enrollees to maintain their new rank; maintain your own new rank.<br />

Grow: Cumulatively increase your OGV above your baseline.<br />

9. How do I calculate my Baseline OGV?<br />

The OGV achieved in October 2023 will be used as the baseline OGV for the purpose of <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong><br />

<strong>USA</strong> <strong>2024</strong>. Please note that monthly OGV can fluctuate; however, ending OGV in March <strong>2024</strong> must<br />

have increased cumulatively, by the minimum OGV criteria amount for each starting rank, over<br />

October 2023 baseline OGV.<br />

cumulative increase in monthly OGV might look like based on the specific criteria for each rank.<br />

10. How can I track my points over the promotion period?<br />

Young Living AUNZ will provide a <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> dashboard that will be available to you. It will be<br />

available via the ‘Brand Partner Resources’ tab of the Virtual Office, and once you have agreed to<br />

the T&Cs of the incentive, the dashboard will appear on the front page of your Virtual Office. You will<br />

be able to see your placement on the leaderboard as well as where you have accrued your points<br />

from.<br />

11. Do I earn <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> points for any new brand partners placed in my team via the Young Living<br />

Placement Program during the qualification period?<br />

You cannot earn any enrolment points for those who are placed in your team via the Placement<br />

Program, however, you are able to earn points from all other activity that would contribute to the<br />

other qualification criteria.<br />

12. Will there be a leaderboard?<br />

Yes, a leaderboard will be available via your Virtual Office. The date to be confirmed later.<br />

13. When are points for the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> promotion recorded?<br />

Points are generally recorded within 48hrs of activity occurring on an account. Please note:<br />

Personal and Team Rank advancement points may only display on or after the 15 th of the following<br />

month after the commission run.<br />

Points will be displayed on the <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> Dashboard via the Virtual Office during the qualification<br />

period.<br />

14. How accurate is the Leaderboard?<br />

The <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> Leaderboard provides an indication of progress only. Please note that <strong>YL</strong> reports will<br />

not be ‘real time’ and there will be time delays of up to 48hrs between your <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> Dashboard<br />

and <strong>YL</strong> reports. (Please see above question) Final qualifiers will not be known until the commission<br />

report at the end of the qualifying period, on or around April 19 th due to the nature of some criteria,<br />

and after final audits have been conducted.<br />

15. Can participants transfer points for the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> promotion to another person?<br />

No, participants cannot transfer points for the promotion to another person. Points cannot be<br />

redeemed for any other Young Living event, program or product.<br />

16. Will a drop in rank affect points earned for the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> promotion?<br />

Any changes in rank for reasons (including product returns or exchanges) may result in a forfeit of<br />

the corresponding points earned for the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> promotion. First-time rank<br />

advancement and maintenance points are rewarded for the maintenance of the highest achieved<br />

rank.<br />

17. Do points earned for the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> promotion have any cash value or Essential<br />

Rewards point value?<br />

Points earned for the promotion have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or refunded. All points<br />

expire after the promotion period ends. Points cannot be redeemed for any other Young Living event,<br />

program or product, including Essential Rewards.<br />

18. Can I earn points on reactivating brand partners? Will they be counted as ‘New Enrollees’ for the<br />

purpose of <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>?<br />

Yes, providing that the brand partner's account has been inactive for a minimum of two years (24<br />

months) in accordance with Young Living’s Policy & Procedures. Accounts will lapse for inactivity<br />

after 12 months of no ordering – the 24 months will start from the month the membership lapsed.<br />

19. Can I earn points for overseas’ enrolments and rank advancements?<br />

Only enrolments and rank advancements within the Australian and New Zealand market, will<br />

contribute towards qualification criteria.<br />

20. Can I earn points for overseas’ OGV?<br />

Yes – for the purpose of <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>, any overseas’ OGV growth will contribute towards<br />

qualification criteria. However, you must have been a residing citizen here in Australia or New Zealand<br />

at least four months prior to the competition start date. Otherwise, only new, local OGV may apply<br />

to satisfy the criteria.<br />

21. What is a ‘Wildcard’ and how can they earn the trip?<br />

Wildcards are participants who have not met the full qualification criteria but clearly demonstrate<br />

diligence, commitment, and business growth in the key areas of invite, advance, maintain and grow.<br />

Should a position exist, wildcards will be chosen at <strong>YL</strong>’s discretion and contacted around the same<br />

time as all trip qualifiers.<br />

22. I rank advanced for the first time and the points are not showing on my <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> Dashboard?<br />

All rank advancement points will be applied to the <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> dashboard on or around the 15 th of each<br />

month, after the commission run. Please note that these points will not be reflected on your<br />

dashboard until after this time.<br />

23. If I ranked Gold once in 2016, will this be my highest achieved rank?<br />

Yes. Your highest ever achieved rank will be regarded as your starting rank – in this case you would<br />

be classed as a Gold.<br />

24. Does my growth target change if I rank advance during the promotion?<br />

A brand partner’s OGV growth requirement is fixed from October 2023, regardless of your personal<br />

rank advancement – in other words, your growth target does not change to a higher level should you<br />

rank advance during the promotion.<br />

25. When will I know if I have qualified for <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong>?<br />

The last day for activity is the 31 st of March <strong>2024</strong>, however, please note that points totals and<br />

positioning on the leaderboard will change up until the 15 th of April <strong>2024</strong>, once the commissions have<br />

run. This is due to returns being processed and rank advancement data being finalised. The <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong><br />

dashboard is a guideline, with the final leaderboard published by Young Living on or around 19 th of<br />

April <strong>2024</strong>.<br />

TRIP & TRAVEL<br />

26. What is included if I earn a spot on the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>?<br />

Rewards are dependent on the final qualification rank. Please refer to the Rewards table by rank for<br />

full information. Remember, conditions apply.<br />

27. What happens if the travel voucher I receive doesn’t equal the price of my airfare?<br />

Where the price of flights at the time of purchase exceeds the total value of the flight voucher received,<br />

the price difference is the responsibility of, and at, the expense of the qualifying participant.<br />

Where the price of flights at the time of purchase is less than the total value of the flight voucher<br />

received, the price difference will be absorbed by Young Living and reallocated at <strong>YL</strong>’s discretion.<br />

28. Will Young Living provide ample activities as well as ‘down time’ during the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong><br />

<strong>2024</strong>?<br />

Yes. Young Living have both planned activities and leisure time for you to thoroughly enjoy your <strong>YL</strong><br />

<strong>Escape</strong> experience and connect with other <strong>YL</strong> members.<br />

29. Is there a trip itinerary that I can see now?<br />

Once qualified, we will supply the agenda to help with your planning. This will only be supplied once all<br />

details are finalised but please note that they are subject to change.<br />

30. How will travel arrangements be made for me? Will I be required to book my own flights?<br />

All travel arrangements to Salt Lake City, <strong>USA</strong> Airport are to be made by the qualifier. Qualifying<br />

members will receive information on ‘What to do Next’ in the qualification email on or around April<br />

19 th <strong>2024</strong>.<br />

31. Will Young Living pay for my luggage?<br />

A luggage allowance will be provided with your flights – the details of which will be released once<br />

qualifiers are announced. Any excess luggage will be at your own cost.<br />

32. Can I arrive early to the US?<br />

Yes. You and any travel companions must travel together on the same itinerary and possess all<br />

required travel documents. If you and/or your guests choose to extend your trip outside the event<br />

dates, you may do so at your own cost, based on availability. Young Living will not cover additional<br />

expenses for early arrivals or late departures. If you wish to extend your stay, you will need to organise<br />

this yourself with the hotel. Please also email: corporateeventsau@youngliving.com.au so our Events<br />

team are aware of your stay.<br />

33. Who do I deal with once I have qualified?<br />

All travel from your closest major city to Salt Lake City, <strong>USA</strong> is the responsibility of the qualifier. Young<br />

Living’s Events team will ensure you are connected and have all the necessary information and<br />

requirements in place before the incentive trip and be your go-to contact. Should you need to contact<br />

34. Who will organise visas and travel insurance for the trip?<br />

It is the qualifiers sole responsibility to organise compulsory travel insurance, make their own visa<br />

arrangements and ensure they have a valid passport.<br />

35. Can I transfer the trip if for any reason I am unable to attend?<br />

No. In the interests of fairness to all members, the trip is non-transferable. By participating in <strong>YL</strong><br />

<strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>, registrants acknowledge and accept this condition.<br />

36. If I am able to attend the trip but need to quarantine due to COVID regulations, will <strong>YL</strong> pay for my<br />

accommodation?<br />

No. Young Living cannot be held responsible for unexpected situations arising due to COVID, travel or<br />

government-related restrictions.<br />

37. When will Young Living notify the registrants/qualifiers of the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> should, for<br />

reasons outside of Young Living’s control, the trip be required to be cancelled?<br />

Young Living will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible, should the trip part of the <strong>YL</strong><br />

<strong>Escape</strong> need to be cancelled.<br />

TRIP ATTENDANCE<br />

38. If I qualify for the trip, but for some reason am unable to attend can I transfer the ticket to my<br />

friend or another member?<br />

No. The Prize is non-transferable and only qualifying brand partner’s listed on the qualifying account<br />

are eligible to attend. If any qualifying brand partner(s) of the Prize are unable to travel, for any<br />

reason, the rights to ‘The Prize’ will return to Young Living Australia for reallocation or otherwise at<br />

their sole discretion.<br />

39. If I register and qualify and my spouse, who holds their own spousal account, does not register, can<br />

I take them as a spouse/life partner/significant other?<br />

Yes. The extra adult, if not listed on the membership, must be a life-partner, husband, wife or a<br />

significant other or qualifying brand partner (see #42).<br />

40. If I register for the trip and qualify and my spouse registers and qualifies, can we both go?<br />

Yes. Any spouse may attend as the partner. However, please note that the Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> prize<br />

can only be won once by any participating Membership which includes those partners etc. linked via<br />

spousal accounts.<br />

41. If I register and qualify and my spouse registers and qualifies, can we both bring an extra adult?<br />

No. The two of you may attend, however, you cannot both invite any extra attendees. The Young<br />

Living <strong>Escape</strong> prize can only be won once by any participating Membership, which includes those<br />

partners, spouses etc linked via spousal accounts.<br />

42. Can I invite one of my team as my extra adult?<br />

Yes, however, they must meet the following criteria:<br />

1. They must have registered for <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>.<br />

2. Have reached the minimum rank of Senior Star at least once in the qualification period.<br />

3. Obtained a minimum of 10 points toward <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>.<br />

43. If I qualify for the trip, but for some reason am unable to attend when do I need to let <strong>YL</strong> know and<br />

who do I contact?<br />

If a qualifying Brand Partner cannot attend <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong> they must notify the Young Living AU<br />

Corporate Events team corporateeventsau@youngliving.com.au no later than Monday, 20 th May<br />

<strong>2024</strong> to be eligible to receive ‘non-attendee’ gifting.<br />

44. If I qualify for the trip, but for some reason am unable to attend, do I receive any compensation?<br />

Yes. A ‘Non-Attendee’ gift up to the value of $500 AUD will be given to any qualifier who is unable to<br />

attend <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>, given they have informed the Young Living corporate events team before<br />

Monday 20 th May <strong>2024</strong>.<br />

45. If I qualify to bring an extra adult, but they are unable to attend do I receive any compensation?<br />

Yes. A ‘Non-Attendee’ gift up to the value of $250 AUD will be given to any qualifier if their registered<br />

guest is unable to attend <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>, given they have informed the Young Living corporate<br />

events team before Monday, 20 th May <strong>2024</strong>.<br />

46. What if I notify <strong>YL</strong> later than Monday, 20 th May <strong>2024</strong> that I cannot come on the trip. What will<br />

happen?<br />

Unless this is due to extenuating circumstances, any qualifying Brand Partner who fails to notify <strong>YL</strong><br />

AU events team before May 20 th , will forfeit their ‘Non-Attendee” gift and the gift of their extra adult<br />

given they have qualified to bring one.<br />

47. Would my 22-year-old son be considered a child for the purpose of the <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong>?<br />

A child, defined by Young Living Essential Oils (Australasia) PTY LTD, is considered under the age of<br />

18. ‘Child’ may be perceived differently by airlines, activities and other organisations associated<br />

with the <strong>YL</strong> <strong>Escape</strong>.<br />

48. Are children permitted to attend Young Living <strong>Escape</strong> <strong>2024</strong>?<br />

Please be aware that some events, like business meetings and activities, are understandably, not<br />

suitable for children. Where trip qualifiers attend with family, we politely request appropriate childminding<br />

options be considered. Breastfeeding infants may attend all activities.<br />

Please note that where applicable, all associated costs and care of any attending child, will be at<br />

the responsibility of the qualifying membership. This includes, but is not limited to:<br />

Full responsibility for any infant’s attendance; including prams, baby seats, dietary needs etc.<br />

Additional accommodation and flight costs, Kid’s Clubs or childminding services, food, travel, and<br />

any extracurricular activities.<br />
