A BIG hello to Alphabet Forest.
We’re going on a journey through various parts
of the Alphabet Forest. This book focuses on
an area with lots of nature, in the shape of a
letter F. All the animals there are named
with the letter F, and all the things they
get up to often happens around words
which begin with the letter F.
We hope you have a lot of fun when
you read the adventure.
After the story ends you see a page with how
many words in the story start with the letter F,
can you count them as you go along and see if
you get the right number at the end.
In the next adventure, it will all be about
the letter ‘G’, introducing new characters
and a wonderful new adventure.
Enjoy the story and have fun.

chapter 1
FIVE FRIENDS BY THE FOREST LAKE
Flora felt full of fun as she frisked along
the forest lake.
Finley flipped fantastic leaps that made
Felix fall over laughing. Faye fluttered
in friendly circles, flickering cheerfully.
Freddie flew fast, forming figure-eights
in the fresh air. Flora felt God had filled
the forest with fabulous things to find.
Felix, forever mischievous, suggested a
forest-lake adventure. Faye favoured the
idea. Finley flapped his feet excitedly.
Freddie flexed his feathers.
Together, the five friends formed a firm
plan to follow the forest paths and find
whatever fascinating features God would
place before them.

chapter 2
FELIX FINDS FUSS AND FEATHERS
Felix forged ahead, far faster than was
wise. He flipped over ferns, flopped into
fluffy moss, and found himself face-first
in feathers left by forest birds.
Flora froze, then fell into friendly laughter.
Finley flicked water at Felix, who feigned
furious outrage. Faye fluttered close,
offering gentle comfort. Freddie finally
fetched him free. Flora reminded everyone
that God favours forgiveness, especially
when friends fumble.
Felix felt foolish yet grateful for his
faithful friends. They formed a circle,
promised to follow the path fairly, then
forged forward again with fresh fun in
their hearts.

chapter 3
FAYE’S FLICKERING CLUE
Faye fluttered above fallen leaves,
flickering brighter than usual.
Flora followed her, feeling something
fascinating ahead. Finley spotted faint
footprints forming a faint glowing trail.
Felix fussed with excitement and Freddie
flapped into the trees for a fuller view.
Faye felt certain the forest was framing
a friendly hint. Flora urged the friends
to follow faithfully, trusting God to fill
the journey with meaning. Finley, full of
fizzing energy, hopped along the glowing
footprints. Felix fiddled with fallen
flowers. Freddie flew overhead as faithful
lookout.
Together they followed the flickering clue
deeper into the forest.

chapter 4
THE FRILLY FERN FIELD
The friends found themselves facing a field
of frilly ferns.
Finley flung himself forward, enjoying
the fluffy foliage. Felix followed, foolishly
flailing about until he frightened a family
of field mice. Flora forgave him and
fetched him back. Faye flickered gently,
guiding them through. Freddie flew above
like a faithful flag. The ferns formed fun
patterns, as though the forest was playfully
forming letters. Flora felt God’s favour in
the freshness of the place.
With fondness and fun, the friends filtered
through the fronds, finally reaching firm
forest ground again.

chapter 5
FREDDIE’S FOREST FLIGHT
Freddie flapped fiercely, flying far ahead
to find future forks in the path.
Flora called for him to fly carefully.
Finley flopped onto a fallen log,
fascinated by fungi. Felix fiddled with
fiddlehead ferns, pretending to be a
fearless explorer. Faye fluttered faithfully
beside Flora. Freddie finally returned,
announcing he had found something
fantastic. He described a faint forest
flash that felt important.
Flora felt faith rising that God was
framing their journey with purpose.
Filled with fresh courage, the friends
followed Freddie toward the flashing
mystery.

chapter 6
THE GIANT F IN THE FOREST
They froze in wonder. Before them stood
a giant F formed from fallen forest
logs, fused with flowers and flickering
fireflies.
Faye fluttered excitedly around it. Finley
felt its bark, finding it firm and friendly.
Felix, full of fascination, tried to figure
out its meaning. Flora believed it stood
for faith, friendship and the Father who
fills life with goodness. Freddie flapped
his wings in agreement. The fireflies
formed swirling patterns, making the F
feel alive.
The friends felt filled with joy,
understanding this forest feature was a
gentle reminder of God’s faithful love.

chapter 7
FLORA’S FRIENDLY LEADERSHIP
Flora felt the need for firm yet friendly
leadership.
Felix frequently forgot directions. Finley
flipped into fun instead of focusing. Freddie
flew off too far. Faye fluttered anxiously
when the path forked. Flora formed a
plan. She encouraged everyone to follow
faithfully, finish tasks fairly and foster
friendliness always. She reminded them
of God’s faithful guidance. Felix folded his
paws with respect. Finley froggily saluted.
Faye flickered approval. Freddie floated
down in agreement.
Feeling fortified, they followed Flora
forward, finding the forest friendlier with
each faithful step.

chapter 8
FINLEY’S FABULOUS FALL-AND-FLOAT
Finley found a fallen log and flipped onto it
with flair.
Unfortunately, the log flipped back, flinging
Finley into the forest lake. Flora gasped.
Felix fumbled. Faye flickered frantically.
Freddie flew fast to fetch help. But Finley
surfaced with a fantastic grin, floating on
a friendly lily pad as if it were a fine ferry.
Flora laughed with relief. Felix felt foolish
for panicking. Esther reminded them that
God fills the world with fun surprises.
Finley floated fearlessly to shore and
flapped cheerfully.
Once everyone finished laughing, they
carried on feeling fresh and fearless.

chapter 9
FELIX FIBS AND FEELS SORRY
Felix fibbed about finding a forest treasure.
He fabricated a fantastic story featuring
fierce foxes and flying fish.
Finley found it fascinating. Faye frowned.
Freddie felt something was fishy. Flora
finally faced him gently. Felix fell silent
and felt a flood of shame. Flora explained
forgiveness, saying God forgives when hearts
feel truly sorry. Felix confessed his fib,
asking for friendship again. Faye flickered
warmly. Finley forgave first. Freddie
followed. Flora hugged him with fluffy
affection.
Feeling free again, Felix found fresh joy and
vowed to be faithfully honest.

chapter 10
THE FESTIVAL OF FOREST LIGHT
The friends found a fabulous forest
festival lit with floating fireflies.
Flowers glowed softly. Forest animals
gathered in friendly fellowship. Faye
flickered happily, fitting right in. Flora
felt filled with gratitude. Finley flapped
excitedly. Felix felt forgiven and free
among the festivities. Freddie flew
fabulous loops overhead. The festival
celebrated friendship, forgiveness and
faith. Flora thanked God for guiding them.
Everyone feasted on forest fruits and
laughed freely. The night felt full of
warmth, wonder and worshipful joy.

chapter 11
FAREWELL TO THE FESTIVAL
The friends prepared to farewell the
forest festival.
Fireflies formed a floating farewell arch.
Flora felt emotional yet encouraged.
Finley found fruit to bring home. Felix
fussed over souvenirs. Faye fluttered
fondly among the glowing lights. Freddie
flapped respectfully in farewell. Forest
creatures blessed their journey back.
Flora felt God filling their hearts with
peace.
They followed the familiar forest trail,
feeling fortified by friendship and
forgiveness. The forest felt friendly as
they walked, full of fond memories and
future hopes.

felt fulfilled.
Flora reflected on their faithful adventure.
Finley flipped joyfully into the water
again. Felix felt proud he had grown
more faithful. Faye flickered with gentle
excitement. Freddie flew freely, forming
heart shapes in the sky. Flora thanked God
for friendship, forgiveness and fun. The
giant F’s message filled their hearts. They
promised to follow faith, foster kindness
and face the future fearlessly.
As the sun fell, five forever friends walked
home, feeling God’s love flowing through
the forest and their lives forever.

The Alphabet Forest is a series of 26 short books, from the
letter A to the letter Z.
Written by Rev. Doc. Carl Brettle, with a little help from
artificial intelligence, the story takes a child on a journey
of adventure through the entire alphabet.
Every child learns more through inspiration, imagination,
humour and challenge. The stories introduce new
characters in each letter of the alphabet.
By the time they finish the whole series, they will have
learned or been reminded about over 3,000 words.
Enjoy the journey, laugh together, think together and
ultimately learn together as these short stories encourage
us all to build better relationships, and find out about new
animals along the way.
