desk, and a lamp. The scene is stylised with bold black outlines, flat
colours, and simplified shapes.
Instead of comic-book imagery, Lichtenstein draws on furniture
catalogues and design magazines, turning ordinary spaces into vivid,
iconic images. The work explores how consumer culture and modern
design shape our perception of everyday life.
