A BIG hello to Alphabet Forest.

We’re going on a journey through various parts

of the Alphabet Forest. This book focuses on

an area with lots of nature, in the shape of a

letter G. All the animals there are named

with the letter G, and all the things they

get up to often happens around words

which begin with the letter G.

We hope you have a lot of fun when

you read the adventure.

After the story ends you see a page with how

many words in the story start with the letter G,

can you count them as you go along and see if

you get the right number at the end.

In the next adventure, it will all be about

the letter ‘H’, introducing new characters

and a wonderful new adventure.

Enjoy the story and have fun.

chapter 1

GATHERING AT THE GRANITE GORGE

Gus gazed gladly at the great granite

gorge. Gracie giggled and greeted the

glowing morning. Gloria glided gracefully

toward the group. Gideon grabbed a

granola snack, grinning greedily. Griff,

ever goofy, gave everyone grand waves

before tripping over a gravel mound.

Gus gathered the group, guiding them

to begin a grand adventure filled with

God-given goodness. Gracie galloped

forward, grateful for friends. Gloria

gently reminded them to give grace.

Gideon gulped his snack quickly, and

Griff groaned playfully.

Together they gallantly entered the gorge,

glad for the journey God had grown for

them.

chapter 2

GRIFF’S GOOFY GUESSWORK

Griff guessed the glowing crack in the

granite gorge must guard golden treasure.

Gus groaned. Gracie gasped dramatically

but giggled moments later. Gloria gently

guided Griff to gaze more carefully. Gideon

gained courage and gave the crack a gentle

tap.

A gush of glittering dust flew out,

covering Griff completely. Gracie giggled

uncontrollably. Gus granted Griff a gentle

pat. Gloria gracefully explained that

guessing without grounding leads to goofy

moments. Gideon grinned, grateful they

were growing together. Griff, glowing like a

glittering lantern, agreed to go gently from

then on.

They continued deeper into God’s gorgeous

gorge.

chapter 3

GRACIE’S GRAND LEAP

Gracie gathered her legs and gave a grand

leap over a gurgling stream. Gus cheered

loudly. Gideon gulped nervously, gripping

Gloria’s feathers. Griff gazed at the gap,

groaning that gravity might grab him if he

tried.

Gracie giggled and coached them gently.

Gloria glided gracefully across the stream

with Gideon gripping tightly. Griff

growled at the challenge but gave it a go,

generating a giant splash. Gus galloped

last, grateful for God’s guidance.

Together they gained ground on the gorge

path, glowing with laughter. Gracie

grinned proudly, glad to help her friends

grow braver.

chapter 4

GIDEON’S GLITTERY DISCOVERY

Gideon gasped as his tiny gecko toes

grazed a glittery gem lodged in a granite

groove. Gracie grew excited. Gus gently

lifted it. Griff grabbed it greedily, but

Gloria gave him a gentle glare.

Gideon guessed it was a God-gifted guide

for their journey. The gem glowed green

and gold, giving off gentle warmth. Gracie

gestured forward eagerly. Gus agreed they

should guard the gem carefully. Griff

grudgingly gave it back after Gloria’s

gentle guidance.

With grateful hearts, the group continued,

guided by the gem’s gentle glow

glimmering against the granite walls.

chapter 5

GLORIA GUARDS THE GROUP

As the gorge grew narrow, Gloria

graciously guided the group beneath

great granite slabs.

Gideon glanced nervously at the giant

grey boulders. Gracie gave him gentle

encouragement. Griff grumbled but

followed. Gus gave thanks to God for

Gloria’s gentle guardianship. Gloria

glided ahead, giving them signals when

the ground grew gritty or the gaps grew

wider. Gracie gathered tiny glowing

flowers to give to her friends. Gideon

grew bolder with each step. Griff even

gave a rare grateful grin.

Together they journeyed forward, feeling

God’s grace guarding them as Gloria

guided the way.

chapter 6

THE GIANT G AMONG THE TREES

Leaving the gorge briefly, the group

entered a grove of grand green trees.

Suddenly they gazed upon a giant G

grown from granite chunks, tangled

branches and glowing fungus. Gracie

gasped gloriously. Gideon gently traced

the grooves. Gus guessed it reminded

them of God’s great goodness. Gloria

agreed, noting how the G grew naturally

from God’s creation. Griff gawked, finally

giving a genuine smile. The glowing

fungus lit the G like a gentle lantern.

They gathered around it, grateful for

God’s guidance. Energised with new

understanding, they returned gladly to

the granite gorge.

15

16

chapter 7

GRIFF’S GENTLE CHANGE

Griff, usually goofy and greedy, grew

gentler. When Gideon struggled to grip a

granite step, Griff gave him a gentle lift.

Gracie grinned proudly.

Gus gave thanks to God for growing Griff’s

heart. Gloria gently encouraged him, saying

grace grows in grateful hearts. Griff glowed

with newfound goodness. Gideon giggled,

grateful for Griff’s help.

Together they climbed the granite path with

growing unity. Gracie gathered wild grapes

along the way. Gus guided them with steady

steps. Griff’s gentle change generated great

joy, reminding everyone that God gladly

grows goodness in every willing friend.

chapter 8

GUS THE GREAT GUIDE

Gus gained confidence as he guided the

group higher into the granite gorge. Gracie

galloped beside him.

Gloria glided overhead, giving gentle

signals. Gideon grinned from Gus’s

back. Griff gazed at the grand view,

feeling grateful. Gus spotted a glowing

tunnel gleaming with golden granules.

Gracie gasped with glee. Gideon gulped

nervously, yet trusted Gus. Gloria gracefully

encouraged everyone forward. Griff

gathered courage and followed.

The tunnel glittered like God’s grand

gallery. Gus guided them through, grateful

for God’s guidance growing in him. The

group gleefully travelled on.

chapter 9

THE GURGLING GRANITE POOL

The tunnel opened into a gurgling granite

pool glowing green and gold.

Gracie glided over the edge and giggled at

her reflection. Gideon gently dipped his toes.

Gus gave thanks for God’s gorgeous creation.

Gloria guided Griff, who nearly tripped into

the pool with a giant splash. The water gave

off gentle warmth, glowing like grace itself.

Faint grooves on the granite looked like tiny

guiding arrows.

Gracie guessed they should go where the

grooves pointed. Gus agreed gladly. They

gathered themselves and followed the

grooves toward their grand finale.

chapter 10

GLORIA’S GLORIOUS SONG

As they journeyed, Gloria gifted the group

with a glorious song.

Her gentle voice glided through the

granite gorge like golden wind. Birds

gathered, glowing softly as they joined

her. Gideon grew still in wonder. Gracie

got goosebumps. Gus gave thanks to God

for Gloria’s gift. Griff grinned gratefully,

feeling peace grow in his heart.

The gorge glowed brighter as the song

filled every corner. It guided them forward

with grace. Gloria ended gently, and the

group gave grateful applause. Renewed

in spirit, they continued their great

adventure together.

chapter 11

THE GRAND GATHERING

The group reached a grand granite

amphitheatre gleaming with golden light.

Gathered creatures greeted them gladly.

Gracie galloped about greeting everyone.

Gideon giggled as glowing beetles

crawled gently on him. Gus gave thanks

for God’s guidance. Gloria gracefully

shared her glorious song again.

Griff gave out granite chips he had

gathered, gifting them generously. The

gathering grew into a great celebration

of friendship, forgiveness and God’s

goodness.

The gorge glowed with joy as everyone

gathered in unity. Hearts grew brighter

and gratitude filled the air as their

adventure neared its glorious end.

GOING HOME GRATEFUL

As the golden glow of evening grew, the

friends began their gentle journey home.

Gus gazed gratefully at how God had

guided every step. Gracie glowed with

giggles. Gideon felt greater courage

growing inside him. Gloria glided

gracefully, giving thanks. Griff, once goofy

and greedy, now generous and gentle,

grinned deeply. The giant G, the glowing

gem and the granite gorge had grown them

together. They gave each other grateful

hugs.

Going home, they carried God’s goodness

The Alphabet Forest is a series of 26 short books, from the

letter A to the letter Z.

Written by Rev. Doc. Carl Brettle, with a little help from

artificial intelligence, the story takes a child on a journey

of adventure through the entire alphabet.

Every child learns more through inspiration, imagination,

humour and challenge. The stories introduce new

characters in each letter of the alphabet.

By the time they finish the whole series, they will have

learned or been reminded about over 3,000 words.

Enjoy the journey, laugh together, think together and

ultimately learn together as these short stories encourage

us all to build better relationships, and find out about new

animals along the way.
