Mayor Helena Moreno arrived in the United States at just eight years
old. Years later, when her heritage was weaponized during an election,
the voters of this city sent a clear message: diversity is not a weakness —
it is our strength.
Dr. Jenny Mains made what she calls the “big sacrifice” of leaving a
successful medical career to fight for economic change at City Hall.
Isis Casanova’s journey began as a refugee child interpreting insurance
documents for her family and has evolved into leading communications
for the City. These are not ordinary career paths — they are stories of
grit, vision, and service.

Helena Moreno, Isis Casanova fue una
maestra en entornos de alto riesgo,

Before she became the strategic
Communications Director for Mayor Helena
Moreno’s administration, Isis Casanova was a
master of high-stakes environments, multiplying
herself across “three lifetimes” of incredible,
boundary-breaking careers. Casanova brings a
dynamic, multidisciplinary expertise that spans
crisis communications, law, and high-altitude
journalism, making her an unparalleled asset as
the City’s Communications Director.
Her professional journey reads like a legend
of firsts. Casanova, who describes herself as
a former “adrenaline junkie,” once held the
controls as an airborne pilot/camera operator,
flying in a news helicopter to cover dangerous
car chases while operating four different
cameras. It was her favorite job—a “super
cool” feat that demanded nerves of steel and
rapid-fire focus. She is believed to be the only
person to have ever delivered traffic reports
from inside a Goodyear blimp during a Super
Bowl. These roles—from television host and
radio DJ to a Registered Legal Interpreter for the
Louisiana Supreme Court—forge a unique ability
to connect, educate, and act decisively under
pressure.
This drive is rooted in her origin story as a
refugee and child of immigrants, where sacrifice
was paramount. By age seven, Casanova was
taking on adult responsibilities, interpreting
complex documents like insurance policies
for her parents—a high-stakes communication
test few ever face. This foundation of profound
responsibility fueled her work at the New
Orleans Health Department, where she reduced
polarization around sensitive issues like mental
health and domestic violence by doing more
than just informing; she explains why the public
needs to know, empowering them to make
“good decisions”.
In her current role, Casanova champions an
“inclusive, equitable voice,” advocating fiercely
for marginalized groups, including the Latino
and disabled communities. Aware that she is a
visible Latina woman and an example to others,
she carries the responsibility with an unwavering
commitment to always be “the best at every
job”. She wants her tenure to be remembered
simply: as someone who was smart, a good
worker, and who “had everybody’s back”. Isis
Casanova’s remarkable journey—from refugee

DENTIST AND ADVOCATE FOR LATINA HEALTH
EDUCATION
Sonia Comas is a highly accomplished dentist who has
transformed countless lives and elevated self-esteem
by transforming smiles. Originating from Mexico City,
she showcases remarkable resilience and professional
dedication, having moved to New Orleans and successfully
navigated the immensely challenging process of
revalidating her studies. Her perseverance paid off when
she was accepted into an international student program for
her residency on the first application, a feat she achieved
at 41 while balancing motherhood to three children. She is
deeply proud of this victory, proving that women’s abilities
are infinite and that professional success does not require
sacrificing family or personal essence.
Sonia’s sense of community is fundamentally rooted
in her commitment to equitable dental education. She
dreams of a community where dental access is accessible
for everyone, especially Latino families who often lack
clear information in their native language. Her belief in
the power of patient education—allowing individuals to
take control of their health, well-being, and self-esteem—
drives her desire for a more informed and empowered
community.
Her dedication to mentorship is clear and powerful,
especially in her advice to young Latinas in dentistry. She
teaches that perseverance conquers fear, and that one’s
origin, accent, and history are strengths, not obstacles. By
sharing her story of starting anew in a different country
with children and completing a challenging process, she
offers an inspiring message of hope and determination.
Sonia assures young women that a strong network of

MARIA PARDO HUETE
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Claudia Medina exemplifies
outstanding global leadership and a powerful commitment to
community building as the Director of International Services
at Ochsner Health. Her accomplishments are centered on the
rewarding work of facilitating access to high-quality healthcare
for patients worldwide. Claudia is praised for collaborating with
diverse teams to enhance cross-cultural understanding and
promote the exchange of vital medical knowledge on a global
scale. Her dedication ensures that patients, regardless of their
background or location, can navigate complex healthcare
systems and receive the necessary care, reflecting a profound
commitment to global health equity.
Beyond her professional achievements, Claudia demonstrates
a deep sense of community by emphasizing the importance
of creating a strong, supportive “family” in New Orleans. She
champions the idea of fostering belonging and connection among
friends, family, and colleagues, especially for those who have left

Maria Pardo Huete, with Cuban and Honduran heritage, is
a dedicated Fund Development and Community Relations
Administrator at the Junior League of New Orleans, known
for her accomplished leadership in philanthropy. Her
proudest professional achievement was becoming the first
Hispanic president of the Junior League of New Orleans
in 2016. During her presidency, she led 2,200 members,
managed 12 community projects, and orchestrated a heroic
response by the Diaper Bank to flood victims in Southeast
Louisiana, an effort that brought her immense pride. She
expertly combines the necessary professionalism in her
work with the inherent joy and warmth of her culture.
Maria’s deep sense of community is fueled by her passion
for connecting with people who want to help the community.
She finds profound peace and relief in seeing families
receive assistance and witnessing women advance their
careers after receiving scholarships from the organization.
Her advocacy focuses on increasing educational
opportunities, viewing them as the primary pathway to
success for new generations. She enjoys maintaining social
connections and mental sharpness by playing mahjong.
As a mentor and inspirational figure, Maria honors the
women who invested in her, paying forward their guidance
through her own accomplishments. She shares a crucial
lesson for those balancing multiple identities: it is possible

JENNY MAINS
NEW ORLEANS DEPUTY MAYOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Jenny Mains, the Honduran American
physician-turned-business leader
now serving as New Orleans’ deputy
mayor of economic development,
embodies a career defined by service
and sacrifice. Her transformative
journey, she reflects, “has been
training for this very moment.” Mains
returned to the U.S. at age 6, lived in
New Jersey and then moved to New
Orleans. After graduation from high
school, she worked to pay her way
through school and earned her M.D.
in Honduras. Her time with Doctors
Without Borders in Central America
revealed a powerful truth about
global migration: “I understood many
people leave their country because
they don’t have opportunities.” This
spurred a new mission: creating
dignified jobs. In 2018, following a
spiritual calling, she made the “big
sacrifice” of leaving medicine to grow
her husband’s logistics firm, CRC
Global Solutions, where she created
more than 100 jobs in Honduras and
more than 500 in the U.S.
Dr. Mains’ dedication to service
and decision-making are rooted in
profound faith. When she initially was
approached about the deputy mayor
role, she felt conflicted about leaving
her “perfect” life for an administration
of a city she felt was “in ruins.” After
a week of prayer, she accepted the
position, viewing the opportunity as
a redirection from a superior force,
choosing to roll up her sleeves rather
than simply watch from the sidelines.
Her primary goal is to “mark a
positive turning point in the city.” This
means rejecting the “tunnel vision”
and ensuring economic development
becomes “an everyday action that
people can feel,” by connecting
residents to high-wage jobs and
investing in neighborhoods like New
Orleans East.
Her role is also an act of
representation. “I’m a public school
kid, I started from nothing, and I’m a
minority,” she affirms. She sees her
position as a message to minority
children that they can lead. And she
wants to provide visibility to her
Latin community and its impact: “We
are also part of this. We are shaping
the community and making the city
stronger.”

MINOLFA C. PRIETO, MD, PHD
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PHYSIOLOGY
Dr. Minolfa C. Prieto, a U.S. citizen from Venezuela, is
an Associate Professor of Physiology whose career
is a powerful reflection of service, excellence, and
mentorship. Her most significant accomplishment is the
creation and sustained growth of the Medical Spanish
program at Tulane School of Medicine, which she
founded in 2016. This initiative addresses the crucial
need for culturally competent physicians who can
effectively and compassionately care for the growing
Hispanic population. She is praised for designing a
longitudinal curriculum that empowers medical students
to reduce barriers to care, improve the quality of patientphysician
relationships, and promote health equity.
Dr. Prieto’s deep commitment to community is evident in
her aim to transform language and culture from barriers
into “bridges to trust, dignity, and better outcomes” in
healthcare. By training culturally competent physicians,
she is cultivating a broader culture of inclusion and
advocacy that strengthens community trust and
reduces health disparities. She believes that investing
in language and education helps Hispanic communities
thrive and be served with the respect they deserve.
The heart of Dr. Prieto’s work is mentorship; she finds
immense fulfillment in guiding her trainees—students
and fellows—calling them her “compass, inspiration,
and everyday happiness”. She serves as an inspiration
by demonstrating that scientific achievement and
representation can coexist with profound community
service. Her advice to young Latinas in medical research
is to be persistent, unapologetic about their ambitions,
and to remember that their unique perspective matters,
as diversity in medical research saves lives. Dr. Prieto
stands as proof that Latina leadership in science
transforms lives and strengthens communities.

Helena Moreno isn't just serving the City of New Orleans; she's scripting
a historic new chapter as the city’s first Latina mayor and a woman of
relentless impact. Since her initial City Council victory, she has earned a
reputation as a tireless advocate who fights to win. The public overwhelmingly
trusts her vision, sealing her re-election to the council with a staggering 85% of
the vote and a sweep of every voting precinct. But her battle for a safer, more
affordable, and increasingly equitable city began long before her election. She
famously decided to pivot "Off of the Sidelines and Into the Fight", leaving a
promising Emmy-winning career as an investigative reporter to directly address
the systemic problems she had spent years exposing.
Moreno’s journey is a powerful, contemporary American story. Born in Xalapa,
Mexico, she moved to the U.S. at age eight, navigating the challenge of
learning English as her second language. That early struggle, overcome with
the dedicated help of her mother Nancy, forged a deep personal connection
that now informs her public office. While her heritage was targeted by some
during her campaign, her victory became an undeniable endorsement of
diversity. Today, Moreno takes visible pride in demonstrating support for the
Latino community, connecting with a population that often felt unseen in
New Orleans, and sends a powerful message to young Latinos: anything is
possible if you believe it first.

During your campaign, your Latina
heritage wasn’t a major focus, but it
has become more visible since you took
office. How has your public relationship
with that part of your identity evolved?
It was sad to see that during the campaign
there were some who used my heritage
as a negative, but my victory shows that
overwhelmingly the people of New Orleans
are about embracing diversity and not
causing division. After my election, there
has been a flurry of attention on my Latina
background both on the local and national
level. It’s given me and my family much
pride to tell my story, one that I never
knew would interest so many. I love it
when I have people come up to me and
speak in Spanish or explain their Hispanic
background. It’s a great connection for a
population that often did not feel seen in
New Orleans.
Do you feel a particular responsibility to
represent and advocate for the Latino
community as mayor, or do you prefer to
separate personal identity from public
office?
I have a personal understanding and
connection to the Latino community, so
yes, particularly during these troubling
times for our immigrant community, I
do take pride in demonstrating visible
support.
What message do you want to send
to young Latinos who see themselves
reflected in your leadership?
That anything is possible, but it comes
with believing in it first. Everything I have
achieved is because I first believed that it
could happen.

significant financial crisis. What was your
first reaction when you fully grasped the
scale of the challenge?
My first reaction was that this is critical and
will be painful to resolve, but a resolution
is possible and I’ll get it done sooner than
anyone expects.
When public services struggle, public trust
erodes. How do you rebuild confidence
while addressing urgent problems?
By letting my work and enhanced public
services speak for itself.
Leading in a crisis demands speed but
also long-term vision. How do you balance
the two?
By thinking outside the box to still
accomplish my long term goals, for
example finding alternative revenue
streams other than general fund dollars to
pay for lighting and street repairs.
What currently keeps you up at night
when you think about the state of the
city?
The finances and finding immediate
solutions to reach better footing.
In moments of crisis, leadership becomes
deeply personal. What sustains you
emotionally in this role?
My faith. I lean on my faith and ask for
wisdom and guidance through difficult
situations. I also never lose hope…I know
that there is always a way and a solution.
How would you like this administration to
be remembered?
As an administration that got the job done.

Fue triste ver que durante la campaña

algo negativo, pero mi victoria demuestra

de mi elección, ha habido una oleada de

a nivel local como nacional. Nos ha dado
a mí y a mi familia mucho orgullo contar
mi historia, una que nunca supe que
interesaría a tantos. Me encanta cuando
la gente se acerca a mí y habla en
español o explica sus orígenes hispanos.
Es una gran conexión para una población
que a menudo no se sentía vista en
Nueva Orleans.
¿Siente una responsabilidad particular de
representar y abogar por la comunidad
latina como alcaldesa, o prefiere separar
la identidad personal del cargo público?
Tengo una comprensión y conexión

es porque primero creí que podía suceder.
Usted asumió el cargo en medio de una
crisis financiera significativa. ¿Cuál fue
su primera reacción cuando comprendió
completamente la magnitud del desafío?
Mi primera reacción fue que esto es
crítico y será doloroso de resolver, pero
una resolución es posible y lo lograré
antes de lo que todos esperan.
Cuando los servicios públicos tienen
dificultades, la confianza pública se
erosiona. ¿Cómo reconstruye la confianza
mientras aborda problemas urgentes?
Dejando que mi trabajo y los servicios
públicos mejorados hablen por sí solos.
Liderar en una crisis exige velocidad, pero
también una visión a largo plazo. ¿Cómo
equilibra ambos?
Pensando de forma innovadora para
lograr mis objetivos a largo plazo, por
ejemplo, encontrando fuentes de ingresos
alternativas distintas a los fondos
generales para pagar la iluminación y las
reparaciones de las calles.
¿Qué le quita el sueño actualmente
cuando piensa en el estado de la ciudad?
Las finanzas y la búsqueda de soluciones
inmediatas para lograr una mejor base.
En momentos de crisis, el liderazgo se
vuelve profundamente personal. ¿Qué la
sostiene emocionalmente en este cargo?
Mi fe. Me apoyo en mi fe y pido sabiduría
y guía en situaciones difíciles. Además,
nunca pierdo la esperanza… Sé que
siempre hay un camino y una solución.
¿Cómo le gustaría que se recordara a esta
administración?
Como una administración que cumplió con
su labor.

What inspired you to study
medicine?
I grew up helping my family
care for my grandfather, who
suffered from Parkinson's
for several years. That
experience awakened in me a
deep interest in medicine, but
above all, the desire to care
for others and support them
in their moments of greatest
need.
What are you most
passionate about in your
profession?
I am passionate about being
able to work with patients of
all ages, from babies to older
people. I am also fascinated
by the diversity of conditions
we treat and the opportunity
to see how patients improve
and recover their quality of
life thanks to our treatments.
Is there a condition you
would like to talk about?
In our specialty, we treat a
wide variety of conditions.
Many people are familiar with
allergic diseases such as
asthma, allergic rhinitis, and
hives. However, many are
surprised to learn that we also
specialize in immune system
disorders, especially when
the immune system is low or
deficient.
The field of immunology is
constantly evolving, with new
research, the recognition
of previously undiagnosed
conditions, and, in some
cases, the development of
innovative treatments.
Regarding prevention,
although many of the
conditions we treat cannot
be prevented, we do know
that the early introduction of
allergenic foods in children
can reduce the risk of
developing food allergies.
What advice do you give
to young immigrants or
minority groups in the U.S.
who dream of studying
healthcare careers?
To all young people who
dream of pursuing a career in
the health field, I say: do it. We
need greater representation
of minorities in the healthcare
system. Language and
cultural differences are social
determinants of health, and
greater representation helps
to reduce these barriers
and improve the care of our
Hispanic patients. It is a path
that can be arduous, but also
deeply satisfying and full of
learning.
What is something about
you outside of work, people
should know you for?
I love practicing Pilates and
dancing. One of the things
I enjoy most about living in
New Orleans is its similarity to
Hispanic culture: the food, the
joy, the celebrations, and the
warmth of its people.

Crecí ayudando a mi familia
a cuidar de mi abuelo, quien

apasiona de su profesión?
Trabajar con pacientes de todas

de ver cómo los pacientes

de vida gracias a nuestros
tratamientos.
¿Hay alguna condición
recurrente que quisiera
mencionar?
Muchas personas están
familiarizadas con
enfermedades alérgicas como
el asma, la rinitis alérgica
y la urticaria. Sin embargo,
a muchos les sorprende
saber que también nos
especializamos en trastornos
del sistema inmunológico,
especialmente cuando este es
bajo o deficiente.
El campo de la inmunología
está en constante evolución,
con nuevas investigaciones, el
reconocimiento de condiciones
previamente no diagnosticadas
y, en algunos casos, el
desarrollo de tratamientos
innovadores.
En cuanto a la prevención,
aunque muchas de las
condiciones que tratamos no
pueden prevenirse, sí sabemos
que la introducción temprana
de alimentos alergénicos en
los niños puede reducir el
riesgo de desarrollar alergias
alimentarias.
¿Qué consejo le da a los
jóvenes inmigrantes o de
grupos minoritarios en EE.
UU. que sueñan con estudiar
carreras en salud?
A todos los jóvenes que sueñan
con ejercer una carrera en
el área de la salud, les digo:
¡Háganlo! Necesitamos mayor
representación de minorías en
el sistema de salud. El idioma
y las diferencias culturales
son determinantes sociales
de la salud, y una mayor
representación ayuda a reducir
estas barreras y a mejorar el
cuidado de nuestros pacientes
hispanos. Es un camino que
puede ser arduo, pero también
profundamente satisfactorio y
lleno de aprendizaje.
¿Qué disfrruta fuera del
trabajo?

de las cosas que más disfruto
de vivir en Nueva Orleans
es su parecido con la cultura

DIANE SCHNELL: DRIVEN BY SERVICE
Recognized by our readers as a Latina of
Impact, Diane Schnell is a lifelong Kenner
resident, mother, and public servant. Born to
Honduran parents, Schnell has dedicated her
career to service, including a background in
media focused on informing residents and
strengthening communication and working on
the Jefferson Parish School Board. Currently,
she is focused on her historic run as the first
Latina to seek the office of Mayor of Kenner.

You are the first Latina to run for Mayor in
the City of Kenner. What does this milestone
mean to you, and how do you believe your
unique perspective benefits the entire
Kenner community?
In 2026, we’re seeing women step forward
everywhere — mujeres en poder — not for
recognition, but to serve, lead, and listen. I’m
proud to be part of that moment, and I carry it
with humility.
Born and raised in Kenner, I understand
the deep roots of this city and the cultures
shaping its future. As the daughter of
Honduran parents, raising my children here,
and living in this community every day, I see
Kenner as one city, not separate groups. That
shapes how I lead. When one neighborhood
struggles, we all feel it. When one family
succeeds, we all move forward.
Please tell us about your previous jobs and
how these experiences have prepared you to
potentially hold the executive responsibilities
of the Mayor’s office.
My professional background centers on
media, public service, and community
engagement — all critical to executive
leadership. As a School Board member,
I worked in governance, budgeting, and
oversight, making decisions that affected
thousands of families. That experience
prepared me to manage public resources,
working alongside other elected officials. As
a journalist, I listened to residents, parents,
students, and business owners every day.
I learned how to gather facts, understand
different perspectives, and communicate
clearly. I’ve also worked alongside families,
organizations, and local leaders to build
partnerships and move initiatives forward.
The Mayor’s job is about managing people,
priorities, and services — and my experience
has prepared me to lead with listening,
transparency, and results.

What are your top three priorities for
revitalizing Kenner’s local economy and
supporting small businesses?
First, fix the basics that impact economic
growth — cleaner streets, reliable trash
service, improved drainage, fair bidding
processes, and a city that is well-maintained
and business-ready. Second, support small
businesses by improving communication and
making it easier to open and grow in Kenner.
Third, attract investment while revitalizing key
projects and bringing new life back to our
Esplanade Mall. Kenner has so much potential
with the right leader.
We are also uniquely positioned to connect
regionally and internationally. By expanding
tourism, partnerships, and investment, we can
bring new revenue into our city and create
sustainable economic growth.
You have expressed concerns regarding
the "chaos" in the city and specific policies
like the 287(g) program. How do you plan to
balance effective law enforcement with the
need to build trust within Kenner’s diverse
neighborhoods?
Public safety and community trust must work
together. I fully support law enforcement,
and as Mayor I will work closely with our
Police Chief to prioritize violent crime,
protect victims, and ensure residents feel
safe reporting issues. All while increasing
transparency around policies and improving
communication between the department and
neighborhoods. We need to invest in youth
programs, mental health resources, and
partnerships with schools and community
organizations. The goal is simple: a city where
residents feel safe and have confidence in
their police department.
You’ve mentioned that minority communities
need a "seat at the table" in the decision
making process. What steps would you take
to ensure that City Hall is more accessible
and transparent for all constituents?
The Mayor and City Hall should be accessible
to everyone at all times. A meaningful way
to make that happen means holding regular
town halls across neighborhoods, breaking
down language barriers, and making it easier
for residents to contact departments and
receive timely responses. I will also create
advisory groups and partnerships with
neighborhood leaders, parents, and small
businesses. Transparency is key.
For a voter who is still undecided, what is
the single most important thing they should
know about why you are the best choice to
lead Kenner into its next chapter?
This campaign is not about politics — it’s
about leadership that is present and
accessible. I was born and raised in Kenner,
I’m still raising a family here, and my career
has been built around listening to people and
serving. I will be a hands-on mayor, present
every day, focused on safer neighborhoods,
stronger infrastructure, economic growth, and
a city government that works.
Kenner’s next chapter requires leadership that
knows the community, brings people together,
and produces results — and that is exactly
how I intend to serve.

partes — mujeres en poder — no por
reconocimiento, sino para servir, liderar y
escuchar. Estoy orgullosa de ser parte de
ese momento, y lo asumo con humildad.
Nacida y criada en Kenner, entiendo las
raíces profundas de esta ciudad y las
culturas que dan forma a su futuro. Como
hija de padres hondureños, criando a mis
hijos aquí, y viviendo en esta comunidad
todos los días, veo a Kenner como una
sola ciudad, no como grupos separados.
Eso define mi forma de liderar. Cuando
un vecindario tiene problemas, todos lo
sentimos. Cuando una familia triunfa, todos
avanzamos.
Cuéntenos sobre sus trabajos anteriores
y cómo estas experiencias la han
preparado para potencialmente asumir
las responsabilidades ejecutivas de la
Alcaldía.
Mi trayectoria profesional se centra en
los medios de comunicación, el servicio
público y el compromiso comunitario,
todos fundamentales para el liderazgo
ejecutivo. Como miembro de la junta
escolar, trabajé en gobernanza,
presupuestos y supervisión, tomando
decisiones que afectaron a miles de
familias. Esa experiencia me preparó para
gestionar recursos públicos, trabajando
junto a otros funcionarios electos. Como
periodista, escuché a residentes, padres,
estudiantes y dueños de negocios todos
los días. Aprendí a recopilar hechos,
comprender diferentes perspectivas y
comunicarme con claridad. También he
trabajado junto a familias, organizaciones
y líderes locales para establecer alianzas
e impulsar iniciativas. El trabajo de la
Alcaldesa se trata de gestionar personas,
prioridades y servicios, y mi experiencia
me ha preparado para liderar con escucha,
transparencia y resultados.
¿Cuáles son sus tres prioridades
principales para revitalizar la economía
local de Kenner y apoyar a las pequeñas
empresas?
Primero, arreglar lo básico que impacta
el crecimiento económico: calles más
limpias, un servicio de recolección de
basura confiable, un mejor drenaje,
procesos de licitación justos y una ciudad
que esté bien mantenida y lista para los
negocios. Segundo, apoyar a las pequeñas
empresas mejorando la comunicación y
facilitando que se establezcan y crezcan
en Kenner. Tercero, atraer inversiones
mientras se revitalizan proyectos clave

y asegurar que los residentes se sientan

comunicación entre el departamento y
los vecindarios. Necesitamos invertir en
programas para jóvenes, recursos de
salud mental y alianzas con escuelas y

simple: una ciudad donde los residentes se
sientan seguros y tengan confianza en su
Departamento de Policía.
Usted ha mencionado que las
comunidades minoritarias necesitan un
"puesto en la mesa de decisiones". ¿Qué
pasos tomaría para garantizar que la
Alcaldía sea más accesible y transparente
para todos los ciudadanos?
Todos deben tener acceso a la Alcaldesa y
a la Alcaldía en todo momento. Una forma
significativa de lograrlo es realizando
asambleas públicas regulares en todos
los vecindarios, eliminando las barreras
lingüísticas y facilitando que los residentes
se comuniquen con los departamentos y
reciban respuestas oportunas. También
crearé grupos asesores y alianzas con
líderesde vecindarios, padres de familia y
pequeños negocios. Transparencia es la
clave.
Para un votante que aún no está decidido,
¿cuál es lo más importante que debe
saber sobre por qué usted es la mejor
opción para guiar a Kenner hacia su
próximo capítulo?
Esta campaña no se trata de política,
sino de un liderazgo que está presente
y es accesible. Nací y crecí en Kenner,
sigo criando una familia aquí y mi carrera
se ha construido en torno a escuchar
a la gente y servir. Seré una alcaldesa
práctica, presente todos los días,
enfocada en vecindarios más seguros, una
infraestructura más fuerte, el crecimiento
económico y un gobierno municipal que
funcione. El próximo capítulo de Kenner
requiere un liderazgo que conozca a la
comunidad, que una a la gente y que
produzca resultados, y así es exactamente
como pretendo servir.
