Magzoid Magazine: Luxury Magazine in the Creative Space | March 2026 |

As the holy month of Ramadan unfolds, this edition is thoughtfully curated around reflection, refinement, and meaningful experiences. It is a time when culture, cre- ativity, and community come together in the most inspiring ways, and this issue mirrors that spirit through a selection of stories that celebrate both tradition and modern elegance. We begin by reflecting on the glamour and cinematic excellence of this year’s Oscars, where storytelling once again took center stage, reminding us of the power of art to connect and inspire across borders. From there, we embrace the essence of *Elevate Ramadan 2026*, highlighting how the season continues to evolve into a sophisticated blend of spirituality, luxury, and curated experiences. In the world of luxury, innovation meets heritage with IWC Schaffhausen’s presenta- tion of the Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium®, a timepiece that perfectly balances cutting-edge material with timeless design. Meanwhile, Van Cleef & Arpels enchants with its Spring Edit, capturing the poetic beauty of nature in bloom, and ETRO contin- ues to express its iconic narrative through fluidity and circular motion, where fashion becomes a language of its own. This issue also brings you a specially curated Ramadan Gift Guide, designed to in- spire thoughtful giving with elegance and intention. Complementing this is our selection of exquisite afternoon tea experiences, perfect for unwinding in style and savoring the quieter moments of the season. Art and culture remain at the heart of this edition, as we explore creative expressions that resonate deeply during Ramadan.

THE

UAE STYLE & CUL-

A NEW ERA OF REFINED

MODESTY

8 March 2026

www.magzoid.com

As the illuminated Burj Khalifa skyline meets the

quiet grandeur of Etihad Towers, Ramadan

2026 unfolds with a distinct sense of elegance

and renewal. This season arrives at a moment

when climate, culture, and contemporary design align,

ushering in a Ramadan defined not just by ritual, but

by atmosphere.

Across the Emirates, Iftars extend beyond interiors

into candlelit courtyards and architectural terraces. At

the same time, Suhoors take on a softer rhythm, set

against desert stillness or the curated greenery of urban

sanctuaries. The aesthetic language of Ramadan

is evolving, and with it, a more intentional, design-forward

approach to dressing emerges.

1. Desert Minimalism: The Quiet Luxury Shift

2026 moves away from heavy, ornate majlis interiors

into something far more refined, earth-led minimalism.

Think sand tones, clay hues, and matte finishes replacing

glossy gold overload.

• Warm limestone, terracotta, and ghaf-inspired

greens dominate

• Matte textures + bouclé + linen replace high-shine

fabrics

• Luxury is now expressed through material quality,

not excess

2. Modern Mashrabiya & Architectural Statements

Traditional elements are being reinterpreted with precision:

• Laser-cut mashrabiya screens

• 3D wall panels casting shadow play

• Floor-to-ceiling glass majlis opening to gardens

EXPERIENCE

A LIVING CANVAS OF LIGHT AND EMOTION

In a city that constantly reinvents spectacle, ARTE Museum Dubai offers

something more intimate, an experience that feels less like visiting a

museum and more like stepping into a dream you don’t want to wake

from.

Beyond Viewing: Entering the Artwork

At ARTE Museum, art isn’t framed, it surrounds you. Created by d’strict,

the space dissolves the boundaries between observer and artwork. Floors

ripple like water beneath your feet, walls bloom into endless florals, and

entire landscapes shift with your movement.

Nature, Reimagined

The museum draws deeply from nature, but

not as you know it. Here, oceans glow with

surreal intensity, forests shimmer in impossible

colors, and waterfalls cascade without

gravity’s limits.

What makes it striking is not just the technology,

but the emotion it evokes.

A Symphony of the Senses

Sound plays as powerful a role as visuals.

Subtle echoes, ambient music, and immersive

audio cues guide your mood as you move

through the exhibits. The addition of scent

in certain spaces adds another unexpected

layer, turning each installation into a fully embodied

experience.

This is art you don’t just see, you feel.

The Pause Within the Experience

Even the café here refuses to be ordinary.

Drinks are served against a backdrop of

evolving projections, where light dances

across tables and walls. It’s a moment to

slow down, yet still remain inside the artwork,

a rare continuity in museum design.

12 March 2026 www.magzoid.com

A Reflection of Dubai

Set within Dubai Mall, ARTE Museum feels

perfectly at home. It reflects Dubai’s forwardthinking

identity—where innovation meets

lifestyle, and experiences are designed to

be shared, photographed, and remembered.

Final Thought

ARTE Museum Dubai doesn’t ask you to

understand art, it invites you to surrender

to it. In a world of fast consumption, it offers

something slower, deeper, and quietly transformative.

For a magazine feature seeking something

fresh and experiential, this is not just

a destination, it’s a mood, a moment, and a

memory in motion.

ABOUT TIME

AN ICON

DARK MODE

IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN PRESENTS THE PORTUGIESER

CHRONOGRAPH CERATANIUM®

22 March 2026

www.magzoid.com

IWC Schaffhausen unveils the Portugieser

Chronograph Ceratanium®. Entering dark

mode, the iconic chronograph is presented

in an all-black version crafted in Ceratanium®,

an IWC- developed material that combines

lightness and hardness with a distinctive

dark finish. Alongside the Ceratanium®

case, crown, and pushers, the watch features

a black dial with black appliques and hands,

and a rubber strap in the same shade. The

Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium® is

presented in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces.

Since its introduction in 1998, the Portugieser

Chronograph has brought a touch of

sporty elegance to IWC Schaffhausen’s Portugieser

collection. With its two vertically arranged

subdials and an inner flange with a

quarter-second scale, the chronograph has

established itself as one of the Swiss luxury

watchmaker’s most recognisable and popular

watch designs. IWC now presents a creative

reimagining of this timeless classic: the first

all-black version crafted from Ceratanium®.

“With its clean, pure and timelessly relevant

aesthetic, the Portugieser Chronograph

has captivated me from the beginning. I am

excited to combine this unique design with

Ceratanium®, one of our most significant

material innovations. The all-black execution

is different from anything we have ever done

before. It emphasizes the chronograph’s mere

shape, ensuring that nothing distracts the eye

from its distinctive silhouette,” explains Christian

Knoop, Creative Director at IWC Schaffhausen.

Limited to 1,500 pieces, the Portugieser

Chronograph Ceratanium® (Ref. IW371631)

features a 41-millimetre case, crown and

pushers crafted from Ceratanium®. Developed

by IWC, this advanced material combines

the lightness and robustness of titanium

with a hardness and scratch-resistance similar

to that of ceramic. Another characteristic

of Ceratanium®, which is based on a special

titanium alloy and fired at high temperatures in

a kiln, is its distinctive, dark and metallic finish.

The all-black design of the chronograph

is further enhanced with a black dial, black

appliques and black hands. The applied Arabic

numerals, indices and quarter-second

scale are discreet elevations against the

background of the black dial. A black rubber

strap with a square pattern complements the

monolithic look of this watch.

ROBUST AND RELIABLE CHRONOGRAPH

MOVEMENT

The Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium®

is powered by the IWC-manufactured 69355

calibre, a mechanical chronograph movement

engineered with a focus on robustness,

reliability and longevity. The column-wheel

control mechanism for the chronograph function

provides clearly defined phases in the

switching sequence and offers distinct tactile

feedback when the buttons are pressed. The

movement features an automatic double-pawl

winding system, which reliably builds up a

power reserve of 46 hours in the mainspring.

LUCKY SPRING

Spring, a season dear to Van Cleef & Arpels, evokes the

awakening of f lora and fauna in a surge of renewal. Born in

2021, the Lucky Spring collection pays tribute to it with jewelry

creations that ref lect the Maison’s positive vision of life. This

year, Van Cleef & Arpels is introducing a new butterf ly motif in

yellow gold and ornamental stones. A new Poetic Complications

watch gracefully accompanies this composition.

Lucky Spring: an ode to nature’s vitality

The Lucky Spring collection features a ladybug

alongside plum blossoms, lily-of-the-valley

buds, and delicate foliage. This ensemble welcomes

this year the butterf ly into its midst, a

motif that has been part of the Maison’s heritage

since 1906. Expressing the notion of vibrant nature,

it reveals dazzling materials—blue agate

and lapis lazuli—illustrating Van Cleef & Arpels’

enduring taste for ornamental stones. Their intensit

y is heightened by the Maison’s signature

double beaded contour.

The Lucky Spring collection, previously consisting

of pieces in rose gold, is now enriched with

five new creations in yellow gold: a long necklace,

a five-motif bracelet, a clip, a Between

the Finger ring, and a pair of earrings. On the

long necklace, the butterfly appears three times.

Represented alternately in profile and frontally, it

seems to flutter lightly along the chain, creating

a sense of vitality and asymmetry. The butterfly’s

body and antennae are crafted in polished gold,

testifying to the Maison’s attention to detail. The

piece is made using the ancestral technique

of lost-wax casting, which is then reworked by

hand by the jeweler. Finally, at every stage of the

production process, each piece is polished on

both the front and back as well as on the double

beaded contour to reveal gold’s radiance.

28 March 2026 www.magzoid.com

The materials that embellish the butterfly and

the plant elements are carefully selected, perpetuating

Van Cleef & Arpels’ tradition of excellence.

The new Lucky Spring creations feature

agate: blue on the upper wings and green for

the foliage. The Maison selects only a tiny proportion

of stones, those that are the most uniform

and homogenous in color, in a palette of

blues and greens ranging from light to intense.

Van Cleef & Arpels only picks gems that present

an even, brilliant hue to create harmonious

ensembles. The pieces are enhanced by the iridescence

of white mother-of-pearl, an organic

material beloved by the Maison. The mother-ofpearl

selected by Van Cleef & Arpels presents

a rare luster and subtle reflections that shimmer

in the light.

An emblematic Van Cleef & Arpels piece, the

Between the Finger ring offers a charming têteàtête.

Nestled on the hand, a plum blossom and

a lilyof-the-valley bud in white mother-of-pearl

converse with a butterfly. Open-winged and tilted

outwards, the butterfly appears ready to take

flight. The motifs are arranged on different levels

to imbue the piece with volume and movement.

Outlined with yellow gold, the piece appears as

if caressed by the first rays of spring sunshine.

This composition also graces the clip, which,

embellished with foliage in green agate, reveals

an elegant and vibrant palette of colors. Lastly,

the earrings feature two plum blossoms that

gracefully frame the face, while a polished gold

pistil within each motif accentuates the roundness

of the piece. This variety of blossom has

the characteristic of flowering in winter, and this

burst of vitality is expressed in the elegant iridescence

of the white mother-of-pearl.

Lady Lucky Spring Butterfly: spring in motion

To celebrate the awakening of nature, the Poetic Complications

collection, which turns the passing of time into an enchanting

spectacle, is joined by a new watch named Lady

Lucky Spring Butterf ly. At the intersection of expertise, the

creation illustrates the savoir-faire of Van Cleef & Arpels in

both watchmaking and jewelry to offer a precious setting

for time.

The Lady Lucky Spring Butterfly watch features three

plum blossoms in white mother-of-pearl, meticulously positioned

on several levels to create an impression of volume

and relief. The motifs are accompanied by yellow gold

worked in different ways: in gold beading around each flower,

polished on the branches, and textured on the leaves.

Edged with a beaded contour, the aperture in the shape of

a lilyof- the-valley bud reveals a disk, also in white motherof-pearl,

displaying the time. This elegant bouquet creates

a striking contrast with the dial’s background, which is in

guilloché white mother-of-pearl, and painted in a deep blue

hue. The interplay of lines enables light to circulate freely,

enhancing the reflections of this organic material.

This bucolic scene is brought to life by a selfwinding mechanical

movement featuring a retrograde minutes display

and jumping hours. As the minutes tick by, an openwinged

butterfly advances gradually towards its closed-winged alter

ego. At each new hour, it returns to its initial position,

ready to begin its journey along the dial once again. Every

detail—weight, size, material—has been patiently designed

to bring this story to life in a 33-mm case. The duo

is adorned with enamel, an artistic craft that is dear to Van

Cleef & Arpels. Their blue-hued silhouettes punctuate the

scene with a bright touch of color.

30 March 2026 www.magzoid.com

The piece is further enhanced by diamonds

set in several places on the watch. In keeping

with the Maison’s tradition of excellence, the

gems are selected according to the strictest criteria—D

to F for color, IF to VVS for clarity—to

illuminate the bezel, hourmarkers, center attachments,

and crown, as well as the buckle of the

strap. The story told on the dial continues on the

back of the watch. The gold part is engraved

with delicate foliage, while enamel decal adorns

the sapphire glass with floral motifs

The latter reveals the oscillating weight, which

features a radiating guilloché effect adorned

with a butterfly in miniature painting. Testament

to mechanical expertise and métiers d’art, the

watch is entirely assembled in the Van Cleef &

Arpels Watchmaking Workshops in Geneva.

The butterfly, a motif close to the Maison’s heart since

its origins

Expressing the vitality of nature, the butterf ly has brightened

the world of Van Cleef & Arpels since its very beginnings.

A creation dating from 1906 that features this motif in pearl,

ruby, and emerald was found in the Maison’s sales records.

Synonymous with grace and lightness, butterf lies are often

depicted with open wings, as if ready to take f light. Over the

years, they have lent themselves to multiple interpretations

on a wide variety of pieces, adorning precious cases, rings,

necklaces, and watch dials. They are particularly prevalent

on clips, an emblematic function of the Maison.

The butterfly’s winged silhouette supports the Maison’s

creativity and expertise, and offers infinite scope for expression,

as demonstrated by the patrimonial Collection. To reflect

the diversity of nature, Van Cleef & Arpels has employed

a wide variety of materials and techniques over the years,

including diamonds, sapphires, coral, malachite, mother-ofpearl,

wood, and gold, as well as the Maison’s beloved métier

d’art of enamel. The butterfly is interpreted either figuratively—its

body and antennae, even its legs, in gold—or stylized.

Inspired by the hippie counterculture of the 1970s, long

necklaces with pure motifs were born. At the same time, Van

Cleef & Arpels was adorning its butterfly creations with Mystery

Set. This technique, patented in 1933, gives the wings a

velvety radiance. The tradition continues to this day in High

Jewelry, with the Kallima ring and the Onde Mystérieuse clip.

Like a timeless companion, the motif continues to enliven the

Maison’s contemporary offering, from High Jewelry to Watchmaking,

and Jewelry to Extraordinary Objects, such as in the

Two Butterfly collection and on the Lady Arpels Brise d’Été

Poetic Complications watch.

LIGHT

COLLECTION

REIMAGINED AS

YOUR ESSENTIAL

RAMADAN

FRAGRANCE EDIT

As Ramadan unfolds in reflection and intention,

Emma Hamsa presents The First Light collection

as an essential fragrance edit for the

season.

In a month defined by spirituality, gratitude and

shared gatherings, the Dubai-based niche fragrance

house positions scent as ritual rather than statement.

Rooted in memory and shaped by family legacy, the

collection offers a refined expression of presence and

awareness, designed to be worn close to the skin and

experienced intimately.

As traditional silhouettes, flowing abayas and occasion

dressing take centre stage, fragrance becomes

the invisible signature. Each Extrait de Parfum is crafted

to wear beautifully on both skin and fabric, unfolding

gradually through warmth and breath to leave a

long-lasting veil of freshness from daytime stillness to

evening gatherings.

The trio draws directly from the founder’s family story.

Milk of Light, inspired by her mother, blends creamy

milk and a light powder, tonka bean, and marzipan,

melting into vanilla musk, offering a luminous softness

suited to daytime reflection.

Desire Skin, inspired by her grandmother, layers

warm spices with a soft touch of citrus, amber, smoked

woods, white musk and dry woods with floral warmth,

bringing warmth and depth to iftar gatherings and intimate

evenings.

Eternal Horizon, dedicated to her father, combines

grapefruit and bergamot, ginger and aromatic herbs,

amberwood with vetiver, mineral accords delivering

clarity and composure with a lasting finish that carries

through the night.

ETRO

PRESENTS

FW26 COLLECTION

The ETRO language moves in circles.

It’s a system of eclectic elements,

gathered along an endless journey,

each time coming together in different

ways, starting where it ended the previous

season, on and on. Everything comes

back, never in the same way. The circle is

virtuous, the openness to possibilities absolute.

Marco De Vincenzo works in continuity,

composing scores in which recognisable

signs - flou, prints, references to the British-inflected

masculine and formal world, a

certain wandering spirit - are variables in an

evolving narrative.

This season, Etro-sity is an act of collecting

things and experiences, bringing distant

worlds into dialogue. It is expressed in the

counterpoint of tartans, trompe l’oeil scarf

prints, motifs that recall medieval bestiaries

or that magnify coats of arms, paisley, lean

tailoring with unexpected details like feather

trims, small sea-wolf coats, and the pervasive

sparkle of sequins. The palette is a mixture

of organic neutrals, yellows, blues and

then black, solid and absolute.

Accessories include sturdy boots, slender-heeled

sandals with chunky buckles at

the ankle, suede mules in collaboration with

Birkenstock, and then softly shaped handbags,

small totes, and embroidered pouches.

ETRO loops forward, again and again,

always different and always the same.

The Fall/Winter 2026 collection marks another

chapter in ETRO’s ongoing dialogue

between heritage and evolution.

CEO & Managing Partner,

Synergy Fin. Consulting

44 March 2026

www.magzoid.com

THE MODERN

CREATIVE PORTFOLIO:

NAVIGATING ART AND

OPPORTUNITY IN THE UAE

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

In an era where creativity is shaping industries and imagination is powering some of the world’s most dynamic businesses, Manoj Sureka

stands at the forefront of a powerful shift, bringing creativity into finance. As the Managing Partner of Synergy Fin. Consulting, Manoj has

become one of the UAE’s leading voices in alternative funding, structured finance, and entrepreneurial growth.

Q: How can a creative portfolio shape your career trajectory

in the UAE?

A portfolio isn’t just a showcase, it’s a strategic

tool. In a competitive UAE market, it

communicates your versatility, thought process,

and adaptability. By curating work that

demonstrates problem-solving and innovation,

creatives can position themselves as

forward-thinking collaborators, not just service

providers.

Q: What should guide the selection of projects

for a portfolio?

Every piece should tell a story of impact.

Select work that reflects strategic thinking,

cultural awareness, and measurable results,

whether it’s audience engagement, brand

alignment, or innovative execution. This ensures

your portfolio resonates with both local

clients and global stakeholders.

Q: How do you make a portfolio resonate

in the UAE’s multicultural context?

Highlight projects that show sensitivity to

cultural nuance without compromising originality.

Combining global trends with regional

storytelling demonstrates awareness of the

UAE’s diverse audiences and positions you

as a creator who can translate vision into

contextually relevant work.

Q: How can portfolios reflect both creativity

and strategic thinking?

Showcase not just outcomes, but reasoning. Include briefs,

objectives, and insights alongside visuals to

demonstrate how creative choices drive results.

This positions your work as intentional,

not accidental, and shows clients that creativity

can meet business or cultural goals.

Q: What role does innovation play in portfolio

curation?

Innovation signals relevance and adaptability.

Incorporate experimental techniques,

cross-disciplinary approaches, or emerging

technologies to show that your work isn’t static,

it evolves with trends, tools, and market

needs.

Q: How often should portfolios evolve to

remain strategically relevant?

Portfolios should be living documents, updated

regularly to reflect growth, new methodologies,

and insights from completed projects. In

a fast-moving market like the UAE, a stagnant

portfolio risks being overlooked.

Q: What advice would you give creatives

aiming to leverage their portfolio as a strategic

advantage?

Think beyond aesthetics. Position your portfolio

as evidence of your mindset, problem-solving

abilities, and adaptability. Curate it with

intent, tell stories of process and impact, and

align it with the market’s needs, turning every

project into a stepping stone for opportunity.

THE ART

OF

PRESENCE

THIBAUT GREVET’S LENS

For Thibaut Grevet, photography is less about narrative

and more about mood. His images drift between clarity

and abstraction, capturing the sensation of a moment

rather than its exact form.

Raised in rural France and now based in Paris, his path into

photography was instinctive, evolving from filming motocross

clips to studying graphic design, and ultimately creating his

own visual language. Today, his work spans editorials, campaigns

and personal projects, all defined by a fluid, immersive

quality.

His recent collaboration with the New York City Ballet, part

of its Art Series, marks a new direction, exploring the tension

between movement and control. The series will appear in his

forthcoming book, Ballet.

Despite growing acclaim, Grevet remains reserved, letting

the work speak with quiet confidence.

FROM DALÍ TO

DUA LIPA

SCHIAPARELLI’S ARTFUL LEGACY AT THE V&A

The V&A presents “Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes

Art,” the UK debut of the legendary Italian designer.

Over 400 objects span her career from 1920s ensembles

to contemporary creations under Daniel Roseberry,

highlighting her daring dialogue with art.

Key highlights:

• Collaborations with Salvador Dalí, including the Skeleton

and Tears dresses, and an upside-down shoe hat.

• Works with Giacometti, Meret Oppenheim, Jean Schlumberger,

and portraits by Picasso and Man Ray.

• Contemporary interpretations by Roseberry for performers

like Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa.

Tristram Hunt, V&A director, calls Schiaparelli “one of the

most ingenious and daring designers in fashion history.” Curated

by Sonnet Stanfill, Lydia Caston, and Rosalind McKever,

the show frames Schiaparelli as a visionary where fashion becomes

ART

‘STITCHED’

GILLIAM

ART BORN FROM

CONSTRAINT

At Pace Gallery, STITCHED by Sam

Gilliam unveils a pivotal yet long-unseen

chapter of the artist’s practice.

Created during his 1993 residency

at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation, the series

emerges from an unexpected constraint

when his signature paintings were deemed

too hazardous to ship overseas.

Gilliam’s response was as radical as it

was poetic: pre-stained canvases, folded

and transported, became the foundation

for a new language of form. In Ireland, he

worked with a local seamstress to cut and

reassemble these surfaces into sculptural

compositions that blur the boundaries between

painting and object.

Now making their US debut, the works,

alongside newly revealed, balloon-like suspended

forms, capture Gilliam at his most

experimental.

CRAFTING

THE FUTURE

HOW THE UAE IS TURNING TRADITION INTO INDUSTRY

The UAE is reframing heritage as opportunity.

Launched by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration

with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced

Technology, the UAE Traditional Crafts Award –

Make it in the Emirates positions Emirati craftsmanship

not just as a legacy, but as a living, investable sector.

Two categories anchor the programme: one celebrating

master artisans and custodians of craft, the other recognising

businesses that successfully integrate heritage into

modern, market-ready products.

With applications open until 1 April 2026 and winners announced

in May, the message is clear: “the future of Emirati

craft lies in honouring its past, while designing boldly

for what comes next.”

WHERE PERFORMANCE MEETS THE OPEN SKY

58 March 2026 www.magzoid.com

POWERTRAIN

Type: V8 Turbo – 90°

Total displacement: 3855 cm³

Bore & stroke: 86.5 x 82 mm

Maximum power: 640 hp at 7,500 rpm*

Maximum torque: 760 Nm at 3,000–5,750 rpm

Maximum revs: 7600 rpm

Compression ratio: 9.4:1

Specific power output: 166 cv/l

PERFORMANCEMANCE

Top speed: 320 km/h

0–200 km/h: 9.4 s

Dry weight-power ratio*: 2.42 kg/hp

100–0 km/h: 30.8 m

200–0 km/h: 119.5 m

In a world that rarely slows down, Ferrari offers a different

kind of escape, one measured not in speed alone,

but in sensation. The newly unveiled Amalfi Spider

is less a car and more a curated experience: a study

in balance, where performance meets poetry under an

open sky.

At its core lies a front-mid-mounted twin-turbo V8, delivering

640 hp with the kind of effortless authority expected

from Maranello. But the real story isn’t just power, it’s

how that power is felt. With the soft top folding away in

just 13.5 seconds, even on the move, the Amalfi Spider

transforms the act of driving into something deeply personal,

almost cinematic.

Design-wise, it resists excess. The silhouette remains

fluid and intentional, preserving the elegance of the

coupé while introducing a new softness, both literally

and visually.

Inside, the dual-cockpit layout speaks to Ferrari’s evolving

philosophy: intuitive, tactile, and human. The return

of physical controls, most notably the iconic start

button, grounds the experience, reminding you that this

is a machine built for drivers, not just admirers.

What the Amalfi Spider ultimately delivers is not just

open-top motoring, but a new language of movement,

where comfort doesn’t dilute thrill, and versatility doesn’t

compromise identity. It’s Ferrari at its most modern:

confident, considered, and unmistakably alive.

NIGHTS

WHERE ART MEETS

MEMORY AND PLACE

Dubai’s cultural calendar comes alive with the

return of Dubai Collection Nights 2026, a

citywide celebration of art that invites audiences

to explore the intersections of memory,

place and imagination.

At the heart of the initiative is the Dubai Collection,

a distinctive public collection of modern and contemporary

works launched in 2021 by Dubai Culture and

Arts Authority. What sets it apart is its source: the artworks

come from private collections, many typically

kept behind closed doors in personal residences.

Each year, Dubai Collection Nights activates this

vision through a dynamic programme of exhibitions,

talks, workshops and studio visits across the city. The

Al Safa Art and Design Library serves as the central

hub, while events ripple out into various creative

spaces throughout Dubai.

The 2026 edition centres on Mapping Memories:

Landscapes in Flux and Geometries of the Imagination,

exploring how art reflects place, time and evolving

narratives through abstraction.

Beyond exhibitions, the programme connects audiences

with the city’s creative scene through studio

visits with Hazem Harb and Saif Mhaisen, alongside

curated tours and cultural gatherings.

Anchored at Al Safa but extending far beyond it,

Dubai Collection Nights offers a rare opportunity to

experience art not just as an object, but as a living

dialogue between people, places and ideas, all with

free access to the public.
