Celebrating Ten Years Together

I rise over Saskatchewan
every morning, steady
and bright.
For millions of years, I’ve poured light across these
plains — over rooftops, fields, towns, and the people
who call this place home.
For most of that time, my energy drifted away unused.
But then something changed.
You noticed me.
And you imagined what could happen if we worked
together.

In the beginning, it was
just a small group of you.
A handful of people who believed that clean energy
should be something everyone can take part in — even
if they didn’t own a roof, or couldn’t install panels
themselves.
You shared the idea with friends.
You encouraged neighbours.
You opened the door for people who had never
imagined they could participate in solar at all.
And slowly, something
new began to grow...

Your investments lit the path forward.
Because of you, businesses and organizations across
Saskatchewan found it easier to say “yes” to reducing their
greenhouse gas emissions.
You lowered the friction.
You made the choice simple.
You helped them take a step they had long wanted to take.
Organizations like Affinity and Innovation Credit Unions
were able to support green energy in a real, tangible way.
Local solar installers found new opportunities and steady
work. Host partners proudly reduced their emissions and
showed their communities what was possible.
You didn’t just generate power.
You shifted what people believed could be done.

And with every project, you
captured more of my light.
You shared the work.
You shared the investment.
You shared the return.
Together, you built a clean-energy future that belongs
to everyone — not just a few.
You helped form alliances with organizations
who share your vision: CECC, CCSC, FNPA, and
especially the Saskatchewan Environmental Society,
whose spark helped create this co-op in the first place.
Your impact reached
farther than you
could see.

Some of your
contributions are
quiet, but powerful.
Cleaner air.
Less smog.
Fewer respiratory illnesses like asthma and lung disease.
Reduced noise pollution.
More resilient communities through distributed energy.
New economic opportunities in rural areas.
Solar adoption creates ripple effects — benefits that
spread far beyond the panels themselves.
You helped make those ripples real.
