The Wellstar Kennestone Hospital (Tower Addition) exemplifies EIFS excellence through

innovation, performance, and design precision in a complex healthcare setting. This ninestory,

263-bed expansion adds more than 300,000 square feet to the active hospital

campus, seamlessly blending modern architecture with the facility’s established character.

Prefabricated EIFS panels with mineral wool continuous insulation were selected for

superior thermal efficiency, fire resistance, and moisture management, while allowing rapid

installation with minimal disruption to hospital operations.

A custom EIFS stencil brick finish replicates the campus’s traditional masonry, preserving

visual continuity, while smooth white EIFS surfaces introduce a clean, contemporary

aesthetic. The system’s design versatility enabled refined detailing, crisp lines, and

consistent finishes across the expansive façade. Supporting LEED ® Silver certification goals,

the high-performance enclosure delivers long-term durability, reduced energy demand,

and low maintenance. Through close collaboration and advanced façade technology,

Bryce Main, originally constructed in the late 1850s and listed

on the National Register of Historic Places, stands today as a

successful example of historic preservation enhanced through

modern EIFS technology. Acquired by The University of Alabama

in 2010, the building required extensive stabilization and

reconstruction and a complete envelope upgrade. EIFS played a

critical role in preserving the structure’s historic character while

meeting contemporary performance standards.

Advanced foam shaping and custom-fabricated profiles

replicated ornate architectural details—cornices, brackets,

cupolas, and domes—without the weight or thermal

drawbacks of traditional masonry. A reinforced air barrier

and 2-inch drainable EIF system improved energy efficiency,

controlled moisture, and eliminated uncontrolled air leakage

in walls that previously lacked insulation. The result is

a durable, high-performing façade that honors historic

craftsmanship while delivering modern sustainability

and resilience. Today, Bryce Main serves as a welcoming

gateway to campus and a compelling demonstration of EIFS

excellence in historic restoration.

architectural heritage while advancing contemporary design. Located on a campus renowned for its Frank Lloyd Wright legacy, the

addition was conceived as a distinct yet complementary presence, and constructed while the museum remained fully operational.

The textured finish was selected to replicate the depth and refinement of natural stone while providing reduced weight, energy

efficiency, and design flexibility.

The façade achieves a sleek, monolithic appearance with minimal control joints, supporting the owner’s vision for a clean,

uninterrupted surface. Its disciplined geometry and refined material palette create a sophisticated dialogue between historic context

and modern expression. The result is an elegant, high-performing building envelope that balances durability, moisture protection, and

thermal efficiency—setting a benchmark for innovation and design excellence in institutional architecture.

The Universal Helios Grand Hotel exemplifies EIFS

excellence through a refined fusion of Mediterranean and

Steven Spielberg–inspired vision. Textured plaster finishes,

warm earth tones, and rhythmic symmetry establish

the hotel as a modern landmark within the brand new

Universal Epic Universe at Celestial Park. Complex concave

and convex geometries, concealed joints, and layered

shadow lines were achieved using precision-fabricated

panels, delivering a seamless, uninterrupted appearance

beyond the limits of traditional construction.

Innovation was central to the project, including a fourpass,

hand-tinted finish process and factory jig alignment

to ensure flawless panel integration. Full-scale mockups

and early envelope testing validated performance

and aesthetics, while just-in-time delivery streamlined

installation on a demanding, multi-contractor site.

Continuous insulation and precisely aligned windows

maintain a high-performance thermal envelope, enhancing

energy efficiency and durability. The result is a visually

striking, high-performing façade that unites artistry,

precision engineering, and luxury hospitality design.

The Emerson, Englewood’s tallest building, redefines the potential of

prefabricated EIFS in multifamily high-rise construction. Featuring 832

three-color EIFS panels totaling more than 84,000 square feet, the façade

delivers a striking yet contextual presence that balances urban sophistication

with the community’s small-town character. Inspired by the philosophy of

Ralph Waldo Emerson, the design translates harmony and rhythm into a

refined architectural expression.

Innovation is showcased through a highly coordinated prefabricated

EIF system, including 534 recessed panels forming inset balconies —

an uncommon, three-dimensional application for prefab EIFS. Advanced

Building Information Modeling and just-in-time delivery enabled precision

installation while minimizing site disruption. Prefabrication reduced exterior

labor and noise by over 75% and shortened the schedule by more than

two months. Continuous insulation enhances energy efficiency and meets

Denver’s updated energy code, delivering a durable, high-performance

envelope. The Emerson stands as a benchmark for innovation, efficiency,

and EIFS design excellence.

Scout Living at Ponce City Market, a 21-story, 405-unit flexstay

residential tower, reimagines urban living in downtown

Atlanta. Originally designed with precast concrete, the

project pivoted to a fully prefabricated, lightweight exterior

wall system in response to post-COVID cost and logistics

challenges—delivering the desired industrial aesthetic with

enhanced performance and sustainability.

The façade features a custom finish with embedded reflective

aggregates, creating depth and subtle sheen across more than

100,000 square feet of exterior surface. Prefabricated panels

enabled precise detailing, clean lines, and consistent window

recesses that echo the historic character of Ponce City Market.

Continuous insulation and integrated air and moisture barriers

provide a high-performance building envelope while reducing

structural loads and carbon impact. Nearly 85% of panels were

fabricated before vertical construction, accelerating installation

and shortening the schedule. This durable, energy-efficient,

and visually compelling landmark exemplifies EIFS innovation

and design excellence.

from historic Quebec City. Spanning nearly 30,000 square feet, the

expansion includes music classrooms, dance studios, auditoriums,

and administrative spaces that support learning, collaboration,

and artistic expression for all ages. EIFS played a central role in

realizing the Center’s vision, allowing expansive, uninterrupted

surfaces, dynamic forms, and generous openings that convey

openness and accessibility. Six-inch EPS insulation delivers near

R-30 thermal performance, ensuring comfort and durability in

Quebec’s demanding climate while maximizing interior space.

The refined façade harmonizes with the urban context and

signals the building’s cultural purpose. More than a functional

facility, the Lévis Cultural Center is a welcoming landmark that

inspires creativity, strengthens community pride, and reinforces

the region’s commitment to artistic excellence.

Sherman Creek North Cove rises more than 30 stories along the New York

City skyline, delivering 600,000 square feet of high-quality, affordable

housing with a refined architectural presence. A fully prefabricated EIFS

panel system replaced conventional brick veneer, integrating continuous

insulation, brick-look finishes, and fine textures to create a distinctive

stepped “wedding cake” façade. Horizontal, vertical, and radius panels

align precisely with the concrete structure, achieving an ultra-custom

appearance typically reserved for luxury towers.

Off-site fabrication enabled rapid installation and faster dry-in, reducing

overall construction time from 36 months to just 24 months while cutting

costs by millions. The lightweight, high-performance envelope enhances

energy efficiency, durability, and weather resistance without compromising

design intent. Sherman Creek demonstrates how EIFS innovation and

prefabrication can elevate affordability, proving that urban housing can

achieve exceptional aesthetics and performance at scale.

demanding mountain climate. Its flexibility accommodates complex forms

and site conditions while maintaining visual consistency across the façade.

The result is a timeless residence that balances beauty, sustainability, and

comfort—an immersive architectural experience that celebrates modern

Linden Grove exemplifies how EIFS can elevate modular

construction through adaptability, efficiency, and refined design.

Selected for its superior thermal performance and flexibility, the

system enabled a streamlined exterior envelope that simplified

construction while enhancing aesthetics. The façade combines

prefabricated brick-textured finish panels with a custom stonetextured

coating, creating a cohesive balance of traditional

warmth and modern sophistication.

Challenges associated with misaligned modular units were

resolved through the field-applied EIFS, allowing precise on-site

adjustments and seamless transitions without compromising

design intent. This adaptability proved essential to achieving a

The Dillon at Buckhead is a striking multi-family residential tower

that showcases the precision and versatility of modern EIFS. The

building features a bold contrast between a black granite-textured

finish and a white sand-like aggregate, highlighting the depth, color,

and craftsmanship achievable with advanced EIF systems. Meticulous

planning, including a full-scale mockup, ensured consistency and

seamless texture across 25,000 square feet of façade.

Innovation played a key role, with a self-adhered membrane flashing

and sealant providing a continuous, airtight, and watertight envelope

while simplifying warranty and material sourcing. The system delivers

both aesthetic excellence and long-term performance, enhancing

durability, energy efficiency, and reducing maintenance costs. The Dillon

at Buckhead exemplifies how contemporary design, advanced materials,

and collaborative execution can create a visually compelling and resilient

Wash Boss transforms a utilitarian car wash into a bold

architectural statement, inspired by the curves and motion of a

Hot Wheels track. The project’s dynamic orange and blue façades,

sculpted from 8-inch foam and finished with textured stone-like

and smooth acrylic coatings, showcase EIFS’s ability to create

uninterrupted, flowing curves and precise detailing that traditional

claddings cannot achieve.

Innovation was key, with custom blocking and framing engineered

to support lighting without long fasteners and field techniques

developed to shape and rasp foam for flawless radii. The EIF

system provides durability, water resistance, and thermal

efficiency, protecting the structure from harsh environmental

conditions. Wash Boss exemplifies how technical ingenuity, artistic

ambition, and expert EIFS installation can transform a functional

facility into a visually striking, high-performance landmark that

captures motion, energy, and brand identity.
