Our stunning, fully-licensed outside ceremony area

takes place under our Pergola with beautiful views of

the South Downs and our freshwater lake.

With a seating capacity of up to 150, it is the perfect,

romantic setting for taking in West Sussex at its finest.

Sussex Barn Ceremony

Our stunning Sussex Barn dates back to 1714

and was used as a cattle-holding barn.

With our fairy lights and hand-cut bottle chandeliers,

the Sussex Barn is a truly magical place

to exchange your vows.

Benches or chivari chair seating for up to 150 guests.

Our Sussex Barn has an integrated sound system for

your Live Music or a DJ to dance the night away.

Wedding Breakfast

The Cattle Barn was used as a holding barn for our

calving cattle during our farming days.

This refurbished barn with bi-fold doors makes the

most stunning venue for your reception.

Your choice of trestle or round tables with crossback

chairs and ivory seat pads are included in

the venue hire.

The Cattle Barn is ideally used after a ceremony

in the Sussex Barn, for an easy flow to the day and

making use of the entire venue space

which is exclusively yours.

Drinks Packages

At Southlands Barn, we offer an elite bar service fully stocked with a variety

of premium spirits, wines, beer, cider and even a martini tap! With purchasing

a drinks package, you will receive a complimentary wine tasting evening to

pick your wines at the barn, which will take place in March of the year you are

getting married.

Pool Table Room

Our hidden little gem at Southlands Barn is our pool

table room off the courtyard.

Recently refurbished to showcase the stunning original

stone walls in the room, this is a great additional space

to get ready on your wedding day and for guests to

enjoy throughout the day and evening.

Dance the night away!

The Sussex Barn becomes your dancefloor with plenty of space for a DJ or live band.

Refresh with our fully stocked bar located next to the dancefloor and refuel your guests with

some street food trucks,hog roast in the courtyard or a grazing table in the barn.

We recommend finishing your evening with a sparkler run under the beautiful Sussex night sky.

Your evening comes to a close at 11pm where our shuttles will be ready to get your guests back to their local accommodation.

Prepping Parlour

Our Prepping Parlour is a beautiful space

for you to get ready for the big day!

The prepping parlour features a shower

and separate lavatory.

A large fridge/freezer is available and there is

complimentary coffee, tea and a bottle of prosecco.

The Prepping Parlour can accommodate

up to eight guests and is accessible from 7am

on the day of your wedding.

• To book your registrar with West Sussex County search their website at

• The ideal time to get married is 1 pm or 2 pm.

• 12 pm is OK, 3 pm makes for a quick day and 11 am is rather too long.

Drinks

• Drinks are supplied by Crowns Mobile Bars which is us!

• Prices are from £15-£25 per person.

• The drinks package doesn’t have to be decided on until two weeks prior to

your wedding and can be made bespoke to your needs. Payment will be

We have two minibuses (eight seats per bus) to

provide a complimentary shuttle at the end of

the wedding evening to get your guests back to

local accommodation.

Our shuttle bus service operates from 11pm

till Midnight. This service will drop guests

from Southlands Barn to your chosen local

accommodation (a guide distance of six miles*

— subject to change).

All shuttles requests have to be in at least 14

days prior to your wedding date.
