LUXURY EQUALS TIME

Flying privately nowadays means more than moving around efficiently.

It is a transfer from the crowded hustle and bustle of everyday life

to a new vastness. The world suddenly becomes a bit smaller, the

things which fill it adopt a new order. What remains is the tranquil

feeling of actually taking possession of space and time. Being able to

arrange a rhythm that suits you personally. Becoming the sovereign

owner of your time.

This freedom has highly varied forms. One of the most beautiful is

when your glance is lifted above the mundane, when it rises and

floats over landscapes, coastlines, horizons. That is the moment

when schedules loose their significance, a serenely floating lightness

takes over.

In “Best of Streifzug” we accompany you on precisely this journey – as

a gentle souffleur whispering new impulses in your ear, handing you

a curated collection of impressions, feelings, ideas. In this edition we

focus your sights on Europe: on its filigreed nuances, its cultivated

diversity, its outstanding ability to draw together polarities to form an

ensemble.

It is the sensuous aspects which persist, endure... the shifting light

out over the sea during twilight hours, the bracing vividness of high

altitudes in the Alps, a gentle foray along coasts whose outlines print

themselves indelibly on your memory, warm breezes redolent with

scents of summertime and salt, the startling white blotches of sails

in the autumnal sun. Special places that touch you, move you – and

moments that endure for a lifetime.

Freedom is disclosed in its most beautiful forms here, on journeys

taken consciously, awarely, when you arrive without haste or hurry,

imbibe an experience with all five senses. In places so exclusive they

seem like a sanctuary, architecture so poised and decisive in declaring

itself that its statement wakes you up, design that does not need

to define itself, because it touches you. And people who generate

living spaces with passion and precision, rooms where you instantly

feel at home; who develop products which enrich your days.

Europe reveals itself to be a continent bursting with soft-spoken miracles,

inexhaustible and close by. Between Mediterranean warmth

and Alpine style, between the electrifying pulse of a city in the evening

and the expanses of the sea in the light of dawn, a field of forces

is generated which excites us and slows us down.

Perhaps the really authentic luxury of travel lies in precisely that:

in those tiny spaces inbetween. In freedom to be able to take – to

make – time, to enjoy the path taken as the most essential part of

the journey.

We wish you a pleasant flight. And many inspiring moments.

With cordial wishes,

he design follows a clear-cut logic. “The builders

had a clear concept in mind. Every decision they

made is graspable – both in terms of function and

of artistic vision. The result appears to be self-evident,

yet nothing was coincidental,” explains Philipp

Hoflehner, CEO at Bernd Gruber. Dark-brushed

oak meets bright Travertine, metal on leather,

primed, smoothed walls over textile surfaces.

The materials form conscious contrasts yet

are cooly harmonized with one another. Transitions are

worked out meticulously, disruptions not permitted. Lighting

and surfaces respond to each other and generate a

tranquil continuity. “Together we worked out and merged

concrete visions and their specific construction challenges

into one common line. The building feels utterly

structured, without being strict in any way,” so Philipp

Hoflehner.

Over an expanse of six floors, a consistent line-up of materials

reigns. Wood, stone, textiles, metal form the basic

principle of the entire house. An organically generated

staircase interconnects the floors. Indirect lighting accompanies

you from the lowermost to the rooftop floor,

providing both orientation and cohesion.

WOOD, STONE AND

LEATHER REPEAT

THE PRINCIPLE

OF MATERIAL

SELECTION BELOW

GROUND LEVEL.

Well-being area with bar

and lounge for relaxing

and feeling good

PRECISION IN DETAIL

On the ground floor are four bedrooms, each with

a similar foundational structure. A variety of natural

stones, shaded levels of colour tones and precise

details lend each room its very own identity. One

room combines a sequence of sedimentary rock

strata with restrained pink hues; another sets strong-

er contrasts. The differentiation unfolds through

materials and nuances, rather than formal separations.

On the upper floor, a generously expansive

room opens wide for guests. The terrace boasting

views of the Hahnenkamm expands the room still

further to the outside. Old wood on the walls and

ceilings suggests chalet character, interpreted in

reduced, contemporary fashion. A wrap-around

banquette, flexible tables and a bar made of stone

and metal all structure the room in clear-cut lines.

The furniture reinforces and amplifies the welcoming

concept without becoming dominant.

OPEN STRUCTURE,

CLEAR-CUT CONCEPT

On the second floor, kitchen, dining area and living

zone form a cohesive residential unit. An elongated

kitchen counter of broken and polished travertine

defines the central focus of the room. It ends in a

massive block of stone which can be utilized as an

informal perch to have a seat in. Two pull-out tables

make variable usage possible, yet still remain in

well-defined positions, accentuated by a lighting fixture

of poured glass floating above it all. “The house

is utilized intensively – with friends, with family, in

everyday life. The rooms are flexible, yet never lose

their clear-cut order,” as Philipp Hoflehner explains.

The living area is grouped around an open fireplace

forged of hammered metal and piled stone. Two

sofas are placed back-to-back, interconnected by a

simple and unadorned console. In such a way, two

clearly defined practical living zones are created

within one wide-open floor plan.

CONSEQUENTIAL TO THE ROOF

On the rooftop floor, interflowing transitions continue

their path. Wall surfaces are spanned with

textiles, leading from bedroom to bathroom, where

they convert to travertine. From the bathtub, a view

of the Wilder Kaiser opens to view.

Wood, stone and leather repeat the principle of material

selection below ground level. On those lower

floors, fitness, well-being area and wine storage

are accommodated. And here as well, atmosphere

is generated by lines, rounded forms and precise

lighting. Daylight is drawn in via vertical light shafts,

thereby creating a connection with upper realms.

The townhouse is based on a concept which is

thought through in utter clarity to its final point. Materiality,

light, room structure flow into each other,

generate a consistent whole. The result is a piece

of architecture which places function, quality and

sustainable value at centre-stage.

The mastermind behind this project is Johannes Kattus, who, with a

clear vision and uncompromising standards of quality, spent several years creating

a refuge that consciously distinguishes itself from classic club clichés. Am

Hof 8 is not a place for display – it is a place for retreat, exchange, focus, and leisure.

Discretion, atmosphere, and intellectual depth take centre stage. The idea:

to create a place that offers modern urbanites spaces to meet, work, train, relax,

celebrate – all under one roof, behind discreet walls in the middle of the city.

Pictures: © Vigo Jansons

A HOUSE WITH HISTORY – AND CHARACTER

The building itself is a rarity: a small residential house from the early

16 th century – labyrinthine, charming, with patina and character.

Instead of grand gestures of representation, the club impresses with its

intimate spatial structure and sensitive zoning. Every room has its own

identity; nothing is oversized, everything feels tailor-made. The interior

design was led by Theresa Obermoser, known for her refined sensitivity

to materials, light, and contemporary aesthetics in historic contexts.

She succeeded in translating the spirit of the house into every detail:

restraint instead of opulence, atmosphere instead of staging. The result

is a club that does not impose itself, but rather creates space – for

reflections, conversations, and enjoyment.

SPACES THAT COME ALIVE

Today, Am Hof 8 spans several floors and offers a finely composed ensemble

of spaces designed to meet the diverse needs of its members:

– Two stylish restaurants that combine cuisine with atmosphere

– Three individual bars, covering everything from morning espresso to

signature cocktails at night

– A nightclub that provides a deliberate contrast – energetic, intimate,

acoustically refined

– A fitness room for discreet physical activity

– Several meeting rooms, equipped for focused work and confidential

conversations

– Two boutique hotel rooms – perfect for guests or a short retreat

– Lounges for reading, working, or simply unwinding

– And a rooftop terrace offering spectacular views over Vienna’s

rooftops

All of this is accessible only to members – and for good reason.

ACCESS WITH INTENTION

Demand for membership has grown steadily since the opening. A

waiting list became necessary, as the club deliberately limits its

number of members. Admission is by invitation or recommendation

only, with a clear goal: to build a community connected by shared

values – not by titles or status symbols.

A PROGRAM WITH DEPTH

A central element of the club life is its multifaceted program of

events: from intimate concerts and readings to discussion formats,

tastings, salon conversations, private cinema evenings, and DJ sets

in the club. Everything is curated, everyone on equal footing, never

arbitrary. It is not about events – it is about experiences of substance

and quality.

ABOUT AM HOF 8

Am Hof 8 is a rare example of lived restraint in an age of

loud surfaces. The club deliberately forgoes grand gestures

– and gains depth and relevance precisely because of it.

Those who become members are not seeking status, but

substance. What they find instead is a place that brings

together traditional Viennese residential architecture with

a new way of living: calm, refined, discreet – yet full of

energy and inspiration.

R

READING THE LANDSCAPE

The Middle East has, for two decades, commanded the attention of

the world‘s most ambitious travellers. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha. Cities

that built themselves into global destinations almost by force of

will, offering luxury, business infrastructure, and connectivity difficult

to match anywhere else. That picture has not disappeared. But it has

become more complicated.

Regional tensions and evolving airspace arrangements have introduced

friction into what was once seamless. For those on business,

where schedules are tight and disruption costly, it raises a fundamental

question: is this the right moment to look elsewhere? Many have

quietly begun to answer yes. Experienced travellers do not wait for

certainty. They move ahead of it.

THE CONTINENT THAT NEEDS NO REINVENTION

Europe has always been there. What changes is how clearly people

see it. Stable, diverse, and extraordinarily well-connected, it offers a

density of world-class destinations unmatched anywhere on earth,

within distances that private aviation makes effortless. A morning in

one country, dinner in another. Business in the north, recovery in the

south. The Mediterranean is experiencing a quiet renaissance among

travellers who have recalibrated their priorities. Not because it has

changed, but because its reliability feels newly valuable.

THREE DESTINATIONS, ONE COAST

Monaco does not try to be anything other than what it is. A city-state

built on precision, of ambition, of taste, of timing. Arrive on your own

schedule and the Principality opens differently: the harbour at dusk, a

table that was waiting, a meeting that runs exactly as long as it should.

Picture: © GlobeAir AG

The Balearic Islands offer something more layered than their reputation

suggests. Mallorca has matured into one of Europe‘s most satisfying

destinations, dramatic landscapes, a food culture with real depth,

a pace that restores without demanding anything in return. Ibiza operates

on its own frequency: luminous by day, alive by night, surrounded

by water that remains genuinely clear.

The festival is famous. The rest, the Cap, the hills

for those who stay long enough to find it.

TRAVEL WITH GLOBEAIR

GlobeAir has spent over 17 years building a private

aviation operation around exactly this kind of travel.

Their charter solutions connect Europe‘s most

sought-after destinations with a directness commercial

travel cannot offer. No fixed schedules, no

It is the difference between arranging travel and simply

IIt all began with the craving for light. When British author Thomas

Smollett reported about this Mediterranean coast of France in the

18 th century, he placed the cornerstone for a fascination that endures

until this day. Soon thereafter, European aristocrats followed in his

footsteps; then came the artists, such as Picasso and Matisse; and

finally, the international society, who transformed this coast into a byword

for elegance. Luxury hotels soon replaced the modest homes,

boulevards were created, and amidst it all, a glamourous stage for

creativity and excesses of every kind. Nevertheless, the Côte d’Azur

kept its natural soul intact: fragrant pines, red-orange cliffs and the

endless blue of the sea.

BETWEEN GLAMOUR AND HISTORY

The first note was struck in Monaco – a duchy which stands for prestige

like no other place on earth. This is where Formula 1 drivers thunder

and streak through the narrow city streets, where in summertime

international stars present themselves at the Monte-Carlo Summer

Festival. In autumn, Port Hercule becomes a showcase for super

yachts. And it has its own culinary pinnacle: the legendary three-star

restaurant of Alain Ducasse, an oasis of fine dining which turns haute

cuisine to an art form.

Prince Rainer III and Princess Grace Kelly

sculpture by artist Marcos Marin, 2024, at

the Place du Casino, Monaco

Only a few kilometres distant, Èze peers from its eagle’s nest in the

cliffs above, overlooking the vast sea. This medieval village awakens

the enthusiasm of every visitor with its winding walkways leading to

the top and spectacular views. Whoever ascends to town along Nietzsche

Path adds not only nature, but also the history of philosophy to

this. Way up above, the Chèvre d’Or restaurant serves its cuisine amid

views which are downright surreal.

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is just the opposite: the quiet, elegant sister

nestled on the Riviera. The peninsula’s coastal road winds along the

turquoise waters between hidden coves and opulent gardens. Legendary

Paloma Beach numbers among the most stylish beaches of the

region, while Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat embodies timeless elegance

and grandeur.

In Nice, life does not unfold, it pulsates. The Promenade des Anglais

invites the world to a seaside stroll while the Cours Saleya intermingles

Mediterranean colours and scents. The Nice Jazz Festival draws

musical legends to town year after year, while unique spots spectacularly

lodged on the cliffs above, like Le Plongeoir, compound the

enjoyment with dramatic views.

In the back-country hills, Saint-Paul-de-Vence seduces visitors with

art. The whole town is a pedestrian zone; galleries unfold one after

another. In a nearby enchanting park, Fondation Maeght presents

works by the great modern artists of our time. Auberge La Colombe

d’Or is a legend in itself; its walls covered with the works artists relinquished

to pay their bills.

THE SHORES, THE ART, A FEEL FOR LIFE

Antibes interfuses maritime glamour and creative energy. At Port Vauban,

some of the largest yachts in Europe lie at anchor, while events

such as “Les Voiles d’Antibes” excel in both tradition and luxury. On

the rocky waterside path tracing the shoreline of Cap d’Antibes called

Sentier du Littoral, you can savour one of the most beautiful coasts

in Europe.

Cannes, of course, is the venue where great cinema is celebrated.

During the Film Festival the town magically turns into an international

peephole to the stars. Croisette boulevard glitters with luxury boutiques

and hotels, such as the legendary Hôtel Martinez, while the

coastal islands Îles de Lérins, just a quick ferry ride from the mainland,

provide a rapturous world of utter serenity all to themselves.

Further to the west, famous Saint-Tropez unveils special charms: a

sanctuary for artists, today a synonym for the jet set and lust for high

living. In the marina, yachts are parked shoulder to shoulder, on Pampe-

lone beach life vibrates with pleasure. Events such as “Les Voiles de

Saint-Tropez” (more information on page 124) spotlight sports and

styles equally. The climax takes place at relaxed La Croix-Valmer,

where nature and discreet luxury hold hands in perfect balance.

The Côte d’Azur is not a place that you just visit. Inescapably, it is also

a feeling, a hypnotic interplay of light, landscape and life lived to the

fullest. Whoever was here once understands why the world for centuries

has dreamed of being here.

PROPERTY MARKET ON THE CÔTE D’AZUR

Behind the lustrous facade, another dimension of Côte d’Azur unfolds: its role as one of the

most highly desirable, sought-after property markets on earth. Between belle-époque villas

and modern retreats, the demand continues uninterrupted and intense, for supply is of course

quite limited. In desirable locations, luxury properties nowadays cost about 16,500 euros per

square metre, while top addresses can reach 40,000 euros. Strict regulations guide what may

be built where on the coast and the shortage of building lots focuses attention per force on

premium properties which are restored with excellence. Nothing ensures abiding value and

stability like these properties. The ever-growing tourism promises that value will grow, forecasts

of appreciation of worth approaching 15 percent over the next few years.

inimitable character on the Côte d’Azur – ideal prerequisites for your

own endeavours in training, regeneration and consciously individual

time-outs. Guests find optimum conditions in every season of the

year for exercise, recuperation, mental focus.

The intensive cleansing programme known as ”Supercleanse”

programme restores deep-down hydration, re-establishes

Lakes have always exercised an enormous fascination

on the human spirit. The long list of artists and

composers who have been inspired by lakes extending

from the Salzburg province Lake District to

the lakes of Carinthia, and also includes Lake Constance

and Lake Neusiedler, seems endless. Back

in those days, just like today, people seem to find

undiscovered energy in the most important elixir of

life – water. For it empowers us with its rich palette

of feelings and dynamics. In early morning, it awakens

mystically, often rising in wafts of mist over the

watery surface. During daytime hours it blossoms,

demanding a lust for life from all of us. In the evening,

it entices us to philosophize in serene tranquillity.

A PLACE OF JOY AND INNER PEACE

And thus, it gradually becomes clear-as-glass why

lakeside real estate numbers among the most

desirable of all properties. The dream-come-true

locations go hand-in-hand with a high degree of

living quality – nearness to the water, to surrounding

nature, has proven salubrious effects on our

own well-being. “Blue Mind” – such is the moniker

of this beneficial meditative state of being which is

inimitably connected with a nearness to water and

brings forth feelings of happiness and inner peace

– is the result. Whoever possesses real estate at

waterside is highly unlikely to ever part with it. Many

properties have been, and continue to remain, in

the hands of a family. “The demand for a domicile

at lakeside continues to increase. The readiness to

sell such a piece of property, however, diminishes

further,” confirms Alexander Tischler, CEO of ATV

Real Estate.

A DIALOGUE BETWEEN

ARCHITECTURE AND NATURE

Nevertheless, there is also a good piece of news.

In spite of all the aforesaid, there are still properties

and new building projects which can be acquired at

lakesides in Austria and Bavaria. Architects exercise

their highest artistic talents and filigree signatures

for what is new and what is natural at lakeside. They

implement designs in deep resonant harmony with

nature – as if landscape and house have been a single

unit since time immemorial. Huge glass fronts

MULTI-FACETED LIFESTYLE

The regions in which the most desirable real estate

are located are just as wide-ranging as the

characters of the owners. On sophisticated Lake

Wörthersee in Carinthia, for example, locals and

guests immerse together into a lively scene of lifestyle

and ongoing events, whereas all those seeking

tranquillity find their pot of gold on Lake Millstatt.

Festival culture can be experienced further west,

on Lake Constance, and in the east on Lake Neusiedler,

though both regions define themselves in

utterly different ways: climatically, historically, culturally

and ecologically. Whoever has a hankering

for Habsburg nostalgia and values historical treasures

feels particularly at home in the Lake District of Salzburg

province. Whereas lovers of the Alps are drawn

to Lake Achensee, the so-called “Sea of Tirol.”

URBAN LIFESTYLE

WITH LAKESIDE ACCESS

What is also interesting is that the trend towards living

at lakeside is equally pursued by urban dwellers.

They, too, would like to extend their own lives on

the water yet not limit them merely to rural regions,

instead bring them into their daily existences. For

that reason, water spots on the old Danube in Vienna,

in Kaisermühlen and in lakeside Aspern are high in

demand. In Klagenfurt there are highly sought-after

living spots where the city and the water meet:

along the Lend Canal, in the green villa spaces of

St. Martin or in lively Waidmannsdorf, only a few min-

utes distant from the shores of Lake Wörthersee. It

is no different in Bregenz. The direct shoreline area

all around the port, the lakeside stage and the promenade

number among the most exclusive residential

spots of the city on Lake Constance.

LIVING WITH THE

RHYTHMS OF THE WATER

Living at waterside is more than just an address.

Views over the watery expanse open far-reaching

horizons, bestow inner serenity, inspire high-flown

dreams. Perhaps it is precisely this interplay of nature,

light, and far horizons which has enticed people

to the shores of lakes and rivers for hundreds

of years. Whoever lives here, finds not only a home

but also a place where living quality, creativity and

self-composure come together in particularly

charming ways.

configuration – a setup particularly popular in the U.S. market.

The Dutch yard has fitted three 5.7-litre V10 Mercury Verado

engines, each producing 400 hp, delivering a top speed of 55

knots (over 100 km/h). The new hardtop provides generous

shade and can be optionally equipped with integrated solar

panels. In the cockpit, a redesigned helm console featuring

two Garmin displays ensures intuitive control, complemented

by a wet bar with sink, refrigerator, and ample storage.

The familiar joystick docking system with Skyhook digital anchor

remains available, as does the optional side door for easy

boarding. The Wajer 38 S blends high performance with refined

ergonomics and meticulous craftsmanship – a showcase of

Dutch engineering in the sportiest expression of the brand.

RATHER THAN CREATING A CLOSED, UNIFORM CONCEPT, MEZZA—

MAISO HAS DESIGNED AN INTERIOR THAT IS MULTI-LAYERED AND

HARMONIOUS. IT IS A CONSCIOUSLY ECLECTIC COLLAGE OF ART,

COLOUR, MATERIALS AND FORMS, CURATED RATHER THAN COM-

POSED, AND THEREFORE OPEN TO INTERPRETATION ON EVERY LEVEL.

WITH SPACES

LAYERED LIKE

MATERIAL BY

MATERIAL, OBJECT

BY OBJECT –

MAISON—D'ÉTÉ

INVITES YOU TO

ARRIVE, LINGER

AND KEEP ADDING

TO THE STORY.

The foundations are a bright, serene world of natural materials:

stone, wood, ceramics and linen. These elements inspire trust and

confidence, yet never seek the spotlight. They remain deliberately

neutral, however. Rather than being the actors, they form the stage

for everything that follows. This house reveals a tale of collecting and

design as a curated art that strives not for order, but excitement.

OBJECT BY OBJECT. ROOM BY ROOM.

Almost every piece of furniture was designed specifically for this

house in close collaboration with artisans. These are unique objects,

not mass-produced items – things with weight, presence and history,

or at least the potential to acquire these qualities over time. They

are complemented by historical finds, such as a restored solid wood

table, a newly upholstered wingback chair and layered textiles that

blend patina with the present day. Even the fireplace is more than just

a functional element; it becomes a quiet centre that brings the entire

room together and grounds it.

AND BETWEEN IT ALL: ART.

NOT AS COMPLETION,

BUT AS POINT OF DEPARTURE.

Intense constellations of colour in the paintings, sculptural objects

and uniquely expressive pieces set the tone. The rooms respond with

deep greens, warm reds and patterned textiles and carpets that seem

to resonate like contained rainbows. Colour is not merely applied

here; it is carefully layered and interwoven with its surroundings. The

interior becomes a walkable choreography – a spatial translation of a

collection that can always grow and evolve.

Kitchen with landscape view:

natural stone, oak and a restored

solid wood table connect seamlessly

with the open communal

space that extends towards the

shoreline.

Terrace lounge opening onto the lakeside

garden, where custom-designed

outdoor furniture, soft textiles and

crafted details extend the house‘s calm,

curated atmosphere into the landscape.

At the heart of the house lies the living area: spacious,

open and adaptable. It is a room that does

not just expand; it orchestrates. Here, velvet meets

wood, colour meets texture and art meets everyday

life. A green tiled stove provides a clear focal

point, setting the tone visually and atmospherically.

Around it, different zones emerge for conversation,

retreat, play and shared living. Here, the feeling of

’being at home‘ comes together: warmth, presence

and identity.

The kitchen is based on the same idea. It is not

just a functional space, but an integral part of the

design. It is a place for coming together, defined

by materials, depth, and visual connections to the

water. Natural stone, oak, and textiles blend with

restored furniture to create a generous spatial experience

that feels effortless. Floor-to-ceiling windows

open up the view of the landscape and water,

visually extending the interior beyond its walls.

The quieter rooms, such as the bathrooms and

spaces of retreat, are understated yet full of character.

They are reduced, but never random. Light

wood and ceramic surfaces in white and beige

create subtle contrasts with black fittings. Once

again, it is the materials that take centre stage, clarifying

the design and tying these rooms back into

the overall scheme.

The winding staircase in black steel and wood

leaves its mark on the house as a whole, acting as

a sculptural element. It serves as both a connective

spine and a graphic counterpoint within this world

of softened, luxurious materials. Outside, the house

opens up with terraces, stone paths and textile

lounges. The interior and exterior blend seamlessly

into one another, and the surrounding landscape

responds with its own quiet intensity.

The result is an interior with a clear message,

shaped by contrast, colour and meticulous craftsmanship.

The house is a living collection that has

matured over time and is still ready to grow.

HALL IN TIROL

CITYLOFT

WHERE DESIGN MEETS CHARACTER

80 STREIFZUG BEST OF

In the middle of the historical old town of Hall in Tirol this highly unusual

city loft is located in a former ski factory – a rare but stunning

hybrid with both industrial character and modern residential charm.

The building was remade for residential purposes, the loft itself farreachingly

redone in 2021, and then with immense finesse for design

and architecture, interpreted anew.

As soon as you step into the apartment, you are struck by an impressive

feeling of roominess, the light, clear lines and spaciousness of

the overall living concept. The heart of the apartment is the wideopen

living/dining zone which through its expanse and premium

materials, dazzles with its cohesive interior concept.

The residence is to be handed over fully furnished. The entire furnishings,

textiles and outfitting are already integrated – simply arrive,

move in, feel good. It is a concept especially attractive to purchasers

with a flexible international lifestyle.

A further highlight is the separate entertainment room with integrated

sound system and billiard table, a room for cosy get-togethers

in special moments with friends and family. From here you directly

enter the spacious, roofed-over loggia, offering through its lounge,

barbecue and ambience-fire a protected outdoor zone with views of

the surrounding mountain panorama.

Consciously preserving its modest restraint on the exterior, this loft

unfolds its great living qualities once you are inside, distinguishing

itself clearly from classical residential concepts.

he festivities embrace, among other things, the huge Anniversary

Party at village centre, the festive Corso on the Kurpromenade

as well as the gala dinner in the Kurhaus of Merano. The centre-

piece of the ”Rallye of Sympathy“ nevertheless remains the roadsters

and speedsters which have been polished to ultimate degree of lustre

for the cruise through the Dolomites, into the Trentino and, of course,

back to the centre of Schenna to roll down the catwalk, put themselves

in the spotlight, on show for their owners.

MOUNTAINS, PALM TREES, CHROME

AND ENJOYMENT

This unparalleled combination brings decades of success in the

“Südtirol Classic Schenna” to a pinnacle point. Because quite apart

from the stopwatch on the alpine-mediterranean drive through imposing

Dolomite summits, luscious green vineyards and the brilliant

sunshine of glistening lakes, it is the fun and joy which are in the

foreground. The degree of fun the participants feel in participating is

visible, at latest, at the retro-defilée on the “catwalk” of the sophisticated

Kurpromenade of Merano on 10 th July 2026. They take their bow

on the big stage, both pilots and passengers will present themselves

in true stylishness of the year of construction of their particular auto-

mobile on the Auto-Corso, accompanied by music, dance and a

whiff of nostalgia.

And for whomever the path is the goal, the next day, the intervals and

breaks of the meticulously selected culinary stopovers along the way

are all a part of the overall whole. Also on the occasion of the anniversary

of the legendary rallye 2026, whoever might invite the participants

exclusively to enter the portals to a Welcome Evening at the

festively illuminated and decorated inner courtyard of the Schenna

Castle. And outside of that, to take part in an extended festive table of

South Tyrolean specialties beneath the arcades of the wine village on

Neumarkt Square. There promises to be unlimited “Glitter & Glamour”

– after all, all participants will be celebrating this Classic Saturday for

the last time at the Merano Kurhaus. In addition to the multi-course

dinner, there will be live music, show acts and, of course, the celebratory

awards ceremony.

REGULATIONS

At the 40 th “Südtirol Classic Schenna” from 05 th until 12 th July 2026,

120 teams will gather at the start. The assignment to a respective

class extends from I (up to/including year of construction 1945) to III

(up to 1985). Since in the competition, a feel for timing counts above

all else, heavy limousines have just as great a chance of winning as

fast roadsters, since certain distances must be covered in the time

which is specifically given.

HEINRICH SCHNEIDER REVEALS A BIT OF HIMSELF

Someone once said I was a Druid. Somehow, it is true. It is of endless fascination to me how with a

little bit of patience and careful attentiveness, the final touches to a meal of beef comes from buds,

grasses, roots, mushrooms, herbs, spores, blossoms, stems, stalks, leaves, fruits and whatever else

you can find in the forest and meadows. Don’t get me wrong, I love ultra-modern technology,

but I love in equal measure antique, traditional methods, the way things were done for centuries

on the farms. Where I feel best of all is inside my own laboratory, usually called a kitchen, that is

my kingdom. Often with nothing but a copper pan and a wooden spoon. That’s the real me. It is

why you will never see me on a TV cooking show or giving a lecture, telling people amusing stories

about something or other. The things I do land on the dinner table. Through my dedication, curiosity,

pleasure, passion. Not a single plate leaves my ”cooking workshop“ before my critical eye gives the goahead.

Only then do I allow it to leave my sight, placed sensitively into the hands of my sister Gisela and her team.

B ecause when you cross the threshold into Terra, it is as if you

were arriving at your friends’ home. Terra means heartfelt hugs, joyous

moments together, siblings who are much more than star-awarded

chef and sommelière, instead they are impassioned hosts for truly

treasured guests all day every day.

It all began back in 1975 when Gisela and Heinrich Schneider’s parents

built a hotel and restaurant “in the middle of nowhere” about 55 km

from Sterzing and 27 km from Bolzano, far removed from the touristic

hotspots. Life in the mountains back then was challenging in a variety of

ways. But apart from all the difficulties, brother and sister learned to love

the fascinations of this very special spot from their parents: the incomparable

wonders of nature, the deep serenity, the liberating freedom.

success, we remain humble, deeply

rooted in our fundamental culinary

principles. Terra is our personal

timeless story of passion, devotion

and striving towards culinary perfection,”

the chef elucidates, an expert

in wild herbs and mushrooms. The

cooking “Druid magician” uses his

kitchen as a workshop, and his ideas

awakened enormous enthusiasm in

the Michelin experts for his ongoing

experiments. He himself enjoys

nothing more than the joyous anticipation

of his guests who often travel

long distances to savour his creations.

“When I see the happy sparkle

in their eyes, that’s when I know that

I have the most beautiful profession

on earth.”

WINE

IS INFINITELY

FASCINATING

BECAUSE IT NEVER

TALES – ABOUT

PEOPLE, NATURE,

ABOUT WAY-BACK-

WHEN AND NOW.

GISELA SCHNEIDER

In 2010, Gisela’s partner Karl, who adores good food and wines in

equal measure, became an integral part of Terra. Thereby, the team

was complete.

Brother and sister Heinrich and Gisela Schneider, forever full of energy, inseparable

WHAT MAKES TERRA SO DIFFERENT?

What distinguishes Terra from all the others today? It is not the prizes

and distinctions, “but rather, the unbelievable experiences that we

make possible – full of awe and respect for nature in our magical spot,”

explains Gisela Schneider. She is sommelière who also boasts a WSET

diploma, AIS Professionista, and is the pulsating heart and soul of Terra,

receiving her guests in four languages, always with a smile on her face,

underscored by a passionate love of wine.

Heinrich’s fundamental inspiration is the forest, ever since childhood. He

brings the essences of nature, as well as its healing powers, into each and

every dish he prepares. “In spite of the Michelin stars and many years of

SMALL … AND SUPERB

That is the motto for the eight rooms and three suites, it is equally

applicable to the well-being area. It was crucial to the siblings in times

when everything in the world seems to get bigger and bigger, to create

a serene sanctuary even in the well-being area – where you can feel

good just to be alive – with two saunas, a whirlpool with views of the

Dolomites, a spacious quiet room and, on request, massages based

on the most unusual mountain herbs.

... AND SUSTAINABLE

Thanks to indelible childhood experiences and memories, the siblings

early on imbibed the high responsibility they have towards nature, it

is a profound inner conviction. “Doing things which are sustainable,

harmonious with nature, is self-evident for us, this philosophy is an integral

part of what we do. It is reflected in every area of our existence:

energy-efficient building, photo voltaic system, heating with pellets,

careful handling of foods, cooperation with local farmers, shopping

here in the valley. Along with an appreciative and fair association with

our employees, it just goes without saying.

GISELA SCHNEIDER REVEALS A BIT OF HERSELF

Where Heinrich loses himself entirely in the kitchen, I let loose – literally – in the world of wines.

The Sommelier examinations were more than 20 years ago, but just two years ago I was distinguished

by the prestigious WSET diploma in London. Since then I have frequently been invited

to a wide variety of wine-tastings. I can exchange views with the top vintners of South Tyrol,

take part in testing the age and quality of wines still fermenting in the vats, go strolling through

the vineyards, visit winemaking estates. In the interim I have also tried my hand at planting

grapevines myself. Five vines are my pride and joy. They have already attained 17.6 degrees of

sugar, things are beginning to get exciting. As exciting as finding the wine to fit a certain dish of my

brother. Twice a year, he changes his menu. That’s when my own experimenting begins. The superb

meals of my brother need the perfect wine accompaniment to bring out all the best in them. I taste, sniff,

slosh, think, read, until I have found the perfect wine, vintage year, temperature and suitable glass for the food. The fact that

my selection of wine is permitted to complete and round out the magnificent dishes of my brother is a huge privilege.

INDIVIDUAL DREAMS OF A HOME

„We plan and realise together with our clients and

with architects highly individual and natural living

spaces. Each house is a unique project which

must generate both space and freedom in order to

come to full expression,” explains Managing Director

Martin Oberhofer. This profound understanding is

reflected in the different finishing stages – from the

structural works, shell and core to the turnkey solution.

When desired, the living spaces are furnished

with sophisticated products and materials which

Rubner has on display in its boutique. The company

works closely together with premium brand

partners.

ALL-ENCOMPASSING CUSTOMER CARE

Rubner Haus provides all-encompassing customer

care and services relating to the projected construction,

from planning and production to punctual

installation and customer service following the

handover of the house. A complete chain accompanying

the client at every step of the way makes

Rubner the ideal partner for all those who want to

have their house built from a single source with

maximum individuality and exclusivity. Each phase

of numerable complex processes is thus coordinated

and personally accompanied.

ABOUT RUBNER HAUS

Rubner Haus was founded in 1964 as a company

of Rubner Group and looks back on more than

60 years of experience as specialist for individual

wooden houses. With more than 30,000 projects

already realised and 200 employees, Rubner Haus

numbers among the leading enterprises in this

business sector.

Rubner Haus completes custom-made living

spaces which are as unique as the people who

live in them. Also windows and doors come from

the Rubner Group, a world-spanning enterprise in

the sectors of timber industry, timber engineering,

timber house construction, doors and windows,

with about 1500 employees.

At Rubner Welt in Kiens in South Tyrol, visitors can

experience over an expanse of 30.000 m 2 the production

and workmanship quality of Rubner homes

close up. Rubner Welt numbers among the largest

exhibition spaces of its kind in Europe. It is the ideal

place to examine in detail what goes into your new

home and enjoy individual consultation.

OF SUSTAINED VALUE

Rubner Haus utilises only natural materials such

as wood, fibreboard and cork. The wood comes

from certified, responsibly cultivated forests and is

processed and finished in their own sawmills. This

enables an outstanding living climate and comfort as

well as optimum energy efficiency. Rubner homes

are of sustained value for the future – for health and

well-being, for the environment, for property value

retention. And in the premium segment, this responsibility

proves especially rewarding and is reflected in

a stable market value appreciation.

WELL-OUTLINED

INDIVIDUAL STYLE. THIS

STANCE EMBODIES THE

BRAND STILL TODAY.

FFOR PERSONALITY AND STYLE

Right from the launch, SÉVIGNÉ became emblematic

of the courage to stand alone. Materials were

not utilized for decoration, rather, they were deliberately

and fastidiously selected. Proportions

were not coincidental, they were composed, defined.

Jewellery was never generated as a status

symbol, but as a personal expression of one’s

well-outlined personality and individual style. This

stance embodies the brand still today.

As generations changed over to the new one, this

identity was continued consequentially. Under the

direction of Jonas Fink, SÉVIGNÉ remains loyal to

its chosen line and at the same time opens itself

wide to more individual processes. Continuity now

means not standstill but honing its known edges

still further. The signature is crystal-clear, the work

is personal, the pieces brook no compromise.

HANDMADE IN GERMANY

The pulsating heartbeat of SÉVIGNÉ is the open

atelier at the flagship store on Brienner Straße in

the centre of Munich. About ten goldsmiths and

experts specialized in setting precious stones

work here in close collaboration with each other

on pieces which take a lot of time and deserve a

lot of time. Each piece is created right here, in an

exercise of long years of professional experience,

precision and uncompromising commitment to

quality. “Handmade in Germany” is no label here,

it is a dedication.

CUSTOM-MADE JEWELLERY

Apart from their own collections, a particular focus

is trained on their custom-made pieces. Engagement

rings, wedding rings are first imagined, then

generated through personal talks with the company

owner. During these private appointments with

Jonas Fink, materials, forms and proportions of the

rings evolve in mutual harmony. SÉVIGNÉ sees this

process as an eye-to-eye dialogue: on equal footing

with clients who know what they want.

PRECIOUS STONES

OF UNUSUAL QUALITY

The portfolio is rounded out by its trade in highly

unusual precious stones and gems for investment

purposes. Thanks to longstanding expertise and

international contacts which have intensified over

the years, SÉVIGNÉ can offer access to stones

and gems of extraordinary quality and exceptional

origins – discreetly, confidentially, based on wellfounded

knowledge.

SÉVIGNÉ has two locations in the inner city of

Munich, amplifying its presence in and beyond

the city as an established brand, emblematic of

highly valuable, unconventional jewellery. Made

for people with style, clients who don’t need to

explain their individuality, persons who show their

personality with poise.

APART FROM THEIR OWN

TRAVELING

EGETEMEIER EXPLORING

MILANO DESIGN WEEK

MILAN, APRIL 2026. THE CITY REVEALS ITSELF ONCE AGAIN AS

A STAGE FOR IDEAS, A PLACE WHERE DESIGN IS NOT ONLY

PRESENTED BUT EXPERIENCED. DURING SALONE DEL MOBILE

AND THE SURROUNDING DESIGN WEEK, INTERIORS BECOME

NARRATIVES. SPACES ARE CURATED LIKE EXHIBITIONS, MATERI-

ALS ARE STAGED WITH INTENTION, AND EVERY DETAIL SPEAKS

WITH CLARITY AND CONFIDENCE. Text: Design Network

or the team at Egetemeier, traveling to Milan is

not an end in itself. It is part of a deeper commitment.

“Traveling for our clients” means immersing

theirselves in the international design discourse,

observing, filtering and translating what truly matters

into meaningful concepts. It is about understanding

shifts before they become visible, and

bringing back not trends, but perspectives that align

with the way Egetemeier creates spaces.

WHAT STANDS OUT

This year, two movements stand out with particular

intensity. On the one hand, a renewed sense of

elegance rooted in materiality and memory. Spaces

feel grounded, almost contemplative. Dark woods,

refined stone surfaces and soft reflections create an

atmosphere that is both timeless and precise. This

development echoes a quiet evolution of classic

interiors, where existing elements are not replaced

but reinterpreted with care and intention.

TRAVELING FOR OUR CLIENTS

MEANS OBSERVING CAREFULLY,

SELECTING THOUGHTFULLY AND

CREATING SPACES THAT REFLECT

TRUE CHARACTER.

On the other hand, there is a growing courage to

challenge expectations. Forms become more expressive,

proportions more experimental. Objects

introduce subtle tension, not through excess, but

through deliberate deviation. It is a controlled play

with perception that brings a new lightness into

otherwise composed environments.

THE FUSION OF DECADES

What becomes evident in Milan is the fusion of

decades. The confidence of the 1970s meets the

precision of the 1990s. Brutalist influences reappear,

MILAN IS MONDAINE,

LUXURIOUS AND FULL OF HIGH-

GLOSS MOMENTS. YET BEYOND

SOMETHING MORE ESSENTIAL.

not as rigid statements, but as sculptural clarity.

Geometry becomes a language. Volumes are

defined, edges are intentional, and materials are

celebrated in their purest form. Marble, metal and

wood are not combined randomly but orchestrated

to create depth and presence. These are precisely

the qualities Egetemeier continuously seek

and refine within their projects too.

At the same time, there is a strong focus on craftsmanship.

Excellence in execution is no longer a

detail; it is the foundation. Surfaces invite touch,

transitions are seamless, and the quality of processing

becomes part of the emotional experience. At

Egetemeier, this understanding of craftsmanship is

essential, as it transforms design into something

that can be experienced beyond the visual.

A SENSE OF TIME VALUE

What they also observe is a shift towards emotional

connection. Interiors are no longer just functional

compositions. They become spaces with character,

capable of creating resonance. There is a certain

magnetism, a quiet intensity that draws people in.

Design gains a sense of time value. It is created

to last, not only physically, but emotionally. This

aligns closely with how Egetemeier approaches

each project, with the intention to create spaces

that endure and connect.

Traveling for clients at Egetemeier means identifying

exactly these qualities. It means recognizing

what has substance, what carries forward and

what aligns with a deeper understanding of living.

It also means having the courage to select, to refine

and to translate inspiration into spaces that

reflect the personality of their clients.

Milan is mondaine, luxurious and full of high-gloss

moments. Yet beyond the surface, it reveals something

more essential. A mindset that encourages

boldness, precision and individuality. For Egetemeier,

it is a reminder that meaningful design requires

both sensitivity and conviction. This is what they

bring back to their clients. Not images, but insights.

Not impressions, but a curated perspective

that becomes part of every space Egetemeier

designs.

BAUHAUS DESIGN CARRIED TO

Ranging from the iconic free swingers S 32 and

S 64 over the Lounge Chair S 411 all the way to tables

S 1070 and B 97, Jil Sander shows in imposing

manner in her interpretation of the Thonet steelpipe

classics just how classic Bauhaus designs can

be developed further, consequentially true to original

principles. Reduction. Precision. And a particular

sensitivity for materiality. All these stamp the

design of the collection.

The two clearly differentiated design lines SERIOUS

and NORDIC each set their own accents: whereas

SERIOUS unveils a markedly elegant identity with

dark-hued surfaces in high-lacquered form and deep

leathery colours, NORDIC interprets the designs

through pale, gold-shimmering finishes, bright and

warm wooden shades exercising admirable restraint.

TIMELESS, PRECISE,

PREMIUM VALUE

Through the presentation of the JS . Thonet Signature

Collection, Thonet returns permanently to the

portfolio of Neue Werkstätten. It is a partnership

founded on the self-same values: timeless design,

precision hand-craftsmanship and premium materials.

Pursuant to the guiding light of a dialogue being

carried on between past and future, the three partners

combine and interlace tradition with curiosity

and lust for novelty – with the claim to make designs

not merely as style, but rather as an attitude,

a posture.

NEUE WERKSTÄTTEN

Neue Werkstätten have their roots in “Vereinigte

Werkstätten für Kunst im Handwerk“ (United Workshops

for Art in Craft), an association of architects,

artists, and craftspeople founded in 1898 that helped

pave the way for modern German design. In its current

transformation, Neue Werkstätten is reflecting

on its history, building on its founding principles,

and carrying them forward into the future in a contemporary

way. It positions itself as an institution of

design culture — a forum that brings together retail,

planning, and consulting within a comprehensive

service offering. Its portfolio addresses both private

clients and professional planners, ranging from furniture

by international premium brands and emerging

labels to textiles, lighting, curated accessories, and

art, as well as materials, paints, and tiles. With kitchen

solutions and extensive interior design expertise

from Molteni&C, alongside high-end bathroom concepts,

living spaces are now conceived and designed

THONET –

THE ENTERPRISE

Since 1819 Thonet Möbel has

As a result of a particular

passion for materials such

as bentwood and welded

Breuer or Mies van der Rohe,

as well as furniture pieces

by renowned contemporary

The combination of highly

and traditional handcraftsmanship

is what turned

Thonet into one of the most

which are always focused

They distinguish themselves

Sustainability is rooted deep

t all began with a bet. In 1981, Patrice de Colmont issued

a challenge to two boats, Pride and Ikra, to race from the Tour du

was born. What at the time was just a sportive competition between

two friends, transmogrified over the following decades

into the most important sailing spectacle in the Mediterranean

Sea. Since 1999 it bears its present name: Les Voiles de Saint-

yachting club that has been at home in these waters since 1862.

What has placed its indelible stamp on this event until today is

its eclectic, multi-faceted character, making it far more than a

them. On the water, they weave and glide like ballet dancers –

every move watched rapturously by the crowds from the quay

of the harbour and the citadel. And yet, this is more than a competition.

It is an homage to the art of sailing, to the handcraftsmanship

of the shipbuilders and the passion of all those who

love the sea. About 4000 crew members of all nationalities are

to be found on board (private persons also have the possibility

to become part of a crew). Impassioned amateurs sail adjacent

to professional regatta skippers. The owners are frequently at the

head of the crew on their boats, personally facing the challenges

which the sea presents, ranging from a summer breeze suddenly

whipping into an autumnal mistral or changing to the infamous

“flip-flop weather” where winds reach 50 knots velocity. That

is the soul of this event: you never know what will happen.

When the sun has set and the

boats are resting at harbour, the

night is still young and festive

activities await.

WHERE LIFE IS A CELEBRATION

Following the regatta, life on land awakens: boats

come to port, the evening gets underway. In the village

of the Voiles – open every day, freely accessible

to everyone, swinging with live music, vibrating with

exhibitions, the tang of saltwater and barbecued fish

in your nostrils – sailors meet visitors. Bar des Voiles

is the universal meeting place. On Wednesday,

competition for the big maxis takes a break, makes

a pause, but not the swinging, throbbing life in the

harbour: La Pétanque des Voiles, sponsored by

North Sail, invites one and all to the Place des Lices

where boules which have defined the soul of the

town for generations roll over the self-same ground.

On Tuesday evening the Sardinade of the SNSM, the

emergency rescue workers of those who need help

at sea, leads the way to the lighthouse for dinner

beneath an open sky that makes you think you are in

a different world. On Thursday the evening belongs

to the crews: costumed squadrons parade through

the harbour, accompanied by music, all manner of

masks, plus endless fun and laughter.

WHETHER EXCLUSIVE DINNER

HISTORIC VILLAS OR LIVE MUSIC ON THE

VARIED AS THE GUESTS THEMSELVES.

Whether exclusive dinner by starlight, art exhibitions

in historic villas or live music on the quay – the programme

is as wildly varied as the guests themselves.

There are few spots on earth where sports, culture

and love-of-life meld so perfectly as here. Because

the people are not merely onlookers, they are part

of a community. And because Saint-Tropez in autumn

has its own magical aura, far removed from

the hurly-burly of high season, yet bursting with real

life and inspiration.

And whoever strolls in early morning along the Quai

Jean-Jaurès, before the first crews awaken and set

sail from the docks will understand why this spot has

never lost its enchantment. Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez

is the promise to live, experience, feel precisely that.

Not once. But again and again.

A SPORTS-RESORT AT

ith the “Limerence”, Alia Yachts once

again makes a decisive statement

about visionary yacht construction.

This unique 53-metre-ship was generated

in collaboration with Azure Yacht

Design as the perfect symbiosis of the

“spirit of expedition” and a luxurious super-yacht,

equipped for any and every type of water sport imaginable,

alongside lifestyle experiences of the highest

order. “The yacht embodies the lust for adventure of

its owner and our own full-custom philosophy, which

means each and every detail has been newly developed,”

says Gökhan Çelik, President of Alia Yachts.

The power-exuding exterior with sculpted, blue-lacquered

super structure and dark-hued glassed surfaces

underscores its sportive-progressive character.

From the explorer bow, widely-spanned side decks

stretch to a generously proportioned quarterdeck

with its own helicopter pad which is certified for a

Bell 429 or Airbus H145 and includes a tanking system

on board.

LAUNCH STARTS

AT THE PARKING LOT

As long as there is no Aerotender on board, the

helicopter deck is transformed to a sports court for

basketball, volleyball or football... or to a driving

range and laser-clay shooting range. That’s how

“Limerence” during daytime hours transmogrifies

to a swimming sports and leisure resort which

leaves even much larger yachts miles behind.

Beneath the helicopter deck, an impressive collection

of high-performance toys lies hidden:

four tenders, including a Wajer 38S, a 12.50-metre-

long X-Tender and a Ski Nautique, jet-skis, foil

boards, seabobs, kitesurfing und windsurfingequipment,

e-bikes as well as two sailing catamarans.

In the evenings, “Limerence” reveals its second

personality: the quarterdeck is turned into a beach

club or open-air disco reverberating with sound,

vibes and atmosphere complete with professional

Driver or basketball? If the helicopter

isn’t parked on board, the pad

turns into a sports court.

Arrivals and departures on

“Limerence” are seamless. The

light-sound fog technology. For more tranquil hours, the helicopter

deck transforms again: into an open-air cinema beneath the stars. A

shaded lounge zone above the bathing platform provides the ideal

spot to relax and recuperate in... or for a romantic sundowner with

views extending over the open seas.

LIKE A BOUTIQUE HOTEL

The interior, designed and outfitted by CT Mimarlik in collaboration

with Alia Interiors, is more reminiscent of a boutique hotel than an

explorer yacht. Bright colours, refined materials and a laid-back elegance

place their stamp on the atmosphere. Three spacious guest

cabins – including a sovereign suite the full breadth of the yacht itself

and with an additional children’s area – provide luxurious comfort

and flexible utilization.

On balmy evenings, the helipad is

transformed into an al fresco cinema –

an unforgettable experience at sea.

The sovereign suite spans the full width of the

yacht and includes a private “children’s area.”

The technical concept which stands behind the “Limerence” is emblematic

of near-universal versatility and efficiency. Ultra-modern

stabilizing systems, a truly sophisticated tanking system for jet fuel,

and highly precise launch mechanisms together ensure that all the

toys and tenders are usable in safety and enjoyment even in heavy

seas. In spite of enormously demanding functionality, the design

remains elegant and well balanced – a masterpiece of artistry and

engineering over a length of just 53 metres.

“There is simply nothing to compare with this,” Çelik, president of the

shipbuilding yard, sums up. “Limerence shows how much is possible

when you combine a spirit of expedition, superyacht comforts, and

sportive passion without brooking any compromise whatsoever.”

There is a dedicated lounge on the

lower deck for divers and anglers.

he fascination and futuristic allure are just as

magnetic today as they were at the start. The striking architecture

reflects the trailblazing spirit that turned a bold idea to culinary reality.

But it is far more than that. A spirit of irrepressible inventiveness

accompanying a passion for everything beautiful have also made

Red Bull Hangar-7 to what it is today: an all-encompassing work of art.

A RUNWAY FOR CULINARY GREATS

A crossroads where the spirit of culinary discovery meets the highest

standards of quality. But above all, the realisation of a vision. In 2003,

under the patronage of Chef of the Century Eckart Witzigmann, Red

Bull Hangar-7 and Restaurant Ikarus launched a culinary lodestar that

remains unrivalled to this day. The pioneering guest chef concept

brings a new star of the global fine dining scene to Salzburg each

month, shaping Restaurant Ikarus with distinctive culinary signatures –

from timeless French classics and minimalist Nordic Cuisine to experimental

molecular gastronomy. Guests embark on a culinary journey

around the globe – but without a suitcase, without a boarding pass,

without even needing to leave Salzburg.

BOOKAZINE – WHEN FINE

DINING MEETS STORYTELLING

With an unusual calling card: the new makeover of the

Bookazine ”IKARUS. Salzburg welcomes the world's

best chefs”, Executive Chef Martin Klein invites readers

to a highly exclusive journey through the culinary year

at Restaurant Ikarus.

Corresponding with the all-encompassing re-design

of Red Bull Hangar-7 and Restaurant Ikarus, also the

popular book series was thought out all over again:

now in a modern softcover format, with puristic layout

and incomparable food photography, the bookazine

focuses on the people, ideas, and products behind the

menus. Featuring culinary philosophies, signature dishes

and personal travel tips, each page opens the door to

other countries, ways of thinking and tastes.

Also new is the multimedia access: via QR codes you

are whisked deep into the Ikarus experience – with

40 recipes, videos that take you step-by-step through

them and exclusive glances behind the scenes through

monthly product portraits and recipes personally selected

by Martin Klein. This is the essence of astonishment—crafted

through creativity, discovered in detail,

and expressed in trying out new recipes at home.

A culinary yearbook for all those who love good food

and great dining ... and also want to understand what’s

behind it.

Pictures: © Helge Kirchberger Photography / Red Bull Hangar-7

Restaurant Ikarus with the guest chef concept which is inseparable

from its identity has long held its place among the world’s gastronomic

elite: two Michelin stars, five Gault&Millau toques with 19 points,

100 Falstaff points and five spoons in the Schlemmer Atlas – and it

is also a proud member of the prestigious association Les Grandes

Tables du Monde. After a makeover, this culinary guiding light has

been shining in a fresh new look since June 2025 and continues to

provide an inspiring setting for one of the most ambitious projects in

international haute cuisine.

PREVIEW GUEST CHEFS 2026

In 2026, the culinary journey at Restaurant Ikarus is once again

whisking guests to some of the world’s most inspiring gastronomic

destinations.

As from May 2026 the first stop is the vibrant city of Amsterdam, where

two-Michelin-starred chef Jurgen van der Zalm showcases his refined

cuisine along the iconic canals. From there, the journey continues

to romantic Paris, where David Toutain delights guests with his elegant

and surprising-taste menus. Next stop: historic Athens, where George

Papazacharias presents contemporary Greek cuisine at its finest – deeply

rooted in tradition. In August 2026, during the Salzburg Festival season, the

spotlight remains at home: the Ikarus team, led by Executive Chef Martin

Klein, takes centre stage, presenting their own creative vision on the grand

culinary stage. As autumn arrives, the journey continues to neighbouring

Budapest with Tamás Széll – marking a true premiere, since for the first

time, a Hungarian guest chef brings his creations to Restaurant Ikarus.

Continuing with a highlight from faraway Hong Kong: Guillaume Galliot,

whose three-Michelin-starred cuisine promises an extraordinary taste experience

not to be missed.

As the culinary year at Restaurant Ikarus slowly approaches its finale, two-

Michelin-starred chef Benito Gómez brings the sun-drenched flavours of

Málaga to Salzburg once more.
