Brand Runway

ACTIVATES

RECOGNITION

We believe that brilliance without context is ignored.

We believe that recognition is not vanity.

It is infrastructure.

We believe that the most qualified women in any room

are frequently the least visible.

Not because they lack talent.

Because they lack placement.

We believe that visibility alone is no longer enough.

That content volume is not authority.

That being seen is not the same as being understood.

We believe that the era of performance is over.

We are in the era of placement.

We believe that recognition precedes revenue.

That authority compounds where visibility fades.

That searchability is the new black.

That context determines credibility.

That placement is power.

We believe that world-class women

do not need another platform to perform on.

They need an environment worthy of their brilliance.

Our mission it to provide that world class environment.

ISSUE #07

THE DEMISE AND RISE OF THE

FEMALE SOLO CEO

In 14 years online — having witnessed

every shade of trend and tendency in

digital marketing — I have to join the

growing consensus:

There has never been a harder time to

be a solo female founder.

The entire system you were told would

“work”…is quietly collapsing.

We are not just experiencing a trust

recession but complexity satiety.

Edito

(Editor-in-Chief )

Courses don’t sell the way they used

to.

Audiences are switched off.

Content is a pandemic that seems to

have no cure.

You can show up every day, say all

the “right” things, follow every

strategy…

and still feel completely unseen.

The market is saturated — not just

with people, but with sameness.

The same language.

The same frameworks.

The same “magnetic messaging”

everyone was taught from the same

five sources.

Competition belongs to the good old

days. And then came AI.

Not as a tool… but as a multiplier of

mediocrity. We are now drowning in

machine structured, cleverly written

but completely forgettable content

and absolute dross. This is what we’re

up against. The new competition is

everything about this paradigm.

The AI Advantage — and the

Moment Your Voice

(and Brand) Disappears

(Spoiler - it’s probably already happened)

Never would I have dreamed of being

called out by a bot.

But that is exactly what happened last

year, when a Claude Agent recognised

my own patterns better than I knew them

myself — and found a weakness in the

way I was managing some professional

relationships.

I was in full systems-lament mode,

working with the Agent to optimise

magazine production. The background

was my increasing frustration with

executive magazine writers who were

consistently late and didn't follow through

on sharing.

And then, mid-conversation, Agent Sage

squared up to me in the chat.

"You don't have a

systems problem, Jenni.

You have a boundary

problem."

We were typing, obviously. But there was an extra

dimension to being speechless in that moment.

She was absolutely right.

She proceeded to illuminate precisely where I was

hiding and under-performing in my business.

And as I watched the words appear on the page —

the way they do — I realised that this bot, this

agent, was one hundred percent correct.

As a consequence, I took tough boundary-setting

action. I took a position on offers I had been stalling

on. And within a few weeks I had sorted my

systems, clarified my standards, and created some

sales.

AI. What's not to love?

And yet. Here we stand in a cacophony of white

noise — not just created by our own copy, but

echoed back at us from every direction. Email,

social media posts, books, articles, blogs. Same.

Same. Same.

The power of this technology is a genuine wonder

for solo entrepreneurs. It can be a godsend. And it

can be a dangerous brand killer.

The Godsend

The Trap

For the solo founder with no team, no editor, no

second pair of eyes — AI levels the playing field

in ways that would have seemed miraculous

ten years ago.

Research and fact-checking at speed. Content

structure and flow organisation.d

Discoverability optimisation — searchability,

AIEO, the Runway Narrative Code. Editorial

formatting. Grammar and spelling support.

Being ADHD, having this technology to organise

my ideas — genius and prolific, even on bad

days — is the godsend sort. I am a highly

cerebral person who can function on multiple

levels of thought simultaneously and plan a

gourmet dinner at the same time. I need to

process information at the speed of light,

particularly when I receive downloads I know

can convert into opportunities fast.

I have trained my agents to work for me — not

instead of me. They are trained to organise my

content, plans, ideas, and projects into

manageable and optimal frameworks. The way

they reflect back the quality of my own unique

thinking is gold.

That last sentence is the key. They reflect back

MY thinking. Not thinking they invented. Mine.

The same tool that saves you is the one most

likely to cost you what nobody can replace.

Your voice.

As a publisher and a copywriter, I cannot abide

anything less than excellence in copy. I have

always been gifted with words and with concepts.

Anything below that standard —

AI-assisted or not — simply does not get past me.

Ask my AI copy assistant.

As for branding — the current trend of deploying AI

everywhere except your shopping list is genuinely

dire for service providers, coaches, visionaries, and

anyone who needs distinction, recognition, a

unique brand thumbprint.

AI Is A

Killer Of Brands

Kills your distinct voice

Impersonates your thinking

Levels everyone to the same

frequency

Leaves your brand

indistinguishable

Erodes your confidence in your

own genius

Replaces you — before you

Erodes your confidence in your

own genius

Replaces you — before you notice

The Standard -

Who's Driving?

Last week, scrolling through my LinkedIn feed, I

watched a respected colleague open her post

with:

"You don't have a marketing problem. You have

a perception problem."

Ten minutes later, a great designer friend

posted: "You don't have a visibility problem. You

have a perception problem."

There are so many ways AI can serve a solo

CEO. I would not be where I am without a highly

trained team of agents. Not creators — servers.

Support. And if you develop the relationship

properly, they will organise your thinking, reflect

your genius back at you, and occasionally call

you out on your boundary problem.

The distinction that changes everything is this:

who is doing the driving?

“wo days after that, an email landed in my

inbox: "You don't have an offer problem. You

have a perception problem."

Oh. Freaking. Dear.

At Brand Runway, we have published our own

AI mandate — not for a gold star, but because

transparency serves everyone. And because as

a solo founder, nobody is checking your work

but you.

I can count at least ten versions of the phrase

"you don't have an X problem, you have a Y

problem" in my feed in recent weeks alone. And

this is going to get significantly worse before it

gets better.

But here is what matters: it is not AI's fault.

Our position: AI researches, structures,

organises, and optimises discoverability.

It supports the architecture. It never originates

the thinking, the voice, or the expertise.

The standard: if it doesn't sound like a real

person thinking out loud, it doesn't go in.

It is ours.

So before you close this page — :

For giving up our voices for answers in the

toughest marketing landscape of decades.

For giving up our brand distinctiveness in the

most homogenous, saturated landscape that

has ever existed.

For giving up our confidence that we can speak

in our own voices, post our own photographs,

trust our own brilliance.

When did you last audit who is actually driving

in your business?

Is it you?

Or have you quietly handed the wheel to

something that doesn't know what makes you

irreplaceable?

Where Female Founders Get Found.

The full Brand Runway AI Editorial Standards are published

at the back of this issue. Not as prescription — as invitation

In response to everything I've described — the noise, the saturation, the AI advantage

misused — I have developed two proprietary frameworks that sit at the heart of everything

Brand Runway produces.

The Runway Narrative Code is the writing discipline I apply to every article, every feature,

every piece of editorial that carries the Brand Runway name. It is not a style guide.

It is a structural methodology — ensuring that ideas are defined, positioned, and expressed

with the precision that makes them findable, quotable, and referenceable over time. In an

era where content disappears within hours, the Runway Narrative Code is what makes

thinking endure.

Not SEO as we once knew it. Answer Engine Optimisation — the

science of ensuring your expertise is the answer that AI systems

surface when your ideal client is looking for her solution. Your

content, your thinking, your methodology — positioned so that the

machines that now gatekeep discovery know exactly who you are,

what you stand for, and why you are the authority.

Together these two codes form a blueprint for editorial authority in

the AI age. They are not theories. They are what I apply inside Brand

Runway — and what I teach inside the Haute Visibility Circle to the

founders I work with most closely.

Because in this new era, it is not enough to be brilliant. You must be

findable. And what is findable must be worth finding on your own

terms not stitched up from generic rhetoric BS..

This issue is here to help you Burn the BS.

Step Up. Transcend the paradigm and

Take The Damn Runway.

Runway Masterclass.

BRAND

Runway

UNAPOLOGETIC

Raimonda Jankunaite

The Origin Story Collection:

JP: I would love it if you could take us back to the moment when you realized your

expertise deserved a runway, not just a corner. What was happening in your world that

made you say, "This is my time to stop whispering and start commanding attention"?

Raimonda Jankunaite

The moment I realised it wasn't a single event — it was an accumulation of evidence I kept

ignoring.

I'd be in rooms where I could see exactly what was missing, exactly what needed to be said,

and I'd hold back. Not because I didn't know — but because I hadn't yet given myself

permission to be the one who said it.

The shift came when I realised that holding back wasn't humility. It was self-abandonment.

And it was costing the women I was meant to serve just as much as it was costing me.

JP Was there a particular "emperor's new clothes" moment in your industry - where you

looked around and thought, "Everyone's following the same tired playbook, but what if there's

a more elegant way"?

Raimonda Jankunaite

The visibility and speaking industry has a very specific look and sound to it — and for a long time,

everyone was copying everyone else without questioning whether it actually worked.

I watched women follow launch formulas, speaking templates, personal brand scripts — and come

out the other side sounding like a slightly different version of the person they'd learned from. The

elegance I was looking for wasn't a better formula. It was the complete absence of one.

What if the most powerful thing a woman could do was simply show up as herself — fully, without

the script? That question became the foundation of everything I built.

People fall in love with you

— not a product.

The Transformation Atelier

JP You've clearly mastered the art of making the complex feel effortless. Walk us through your

signature methodology - not the what, but the why. What quantum leap in thinking separates

your approach from everyone else's?

Raimonda Jankunaite

Most visibility and speaking programmes focus on the external — how you present, how you

position, how you package your message. And those things matter. But they're the last ten

percent.

What I focus on is the ninety percent that happens before any of that — the internal

architecture. Who a woman believes she is when she's standing in front of a room. Whether

she trusts what she knows. Whether she feels entitled to the space she's standing in.

Because you can give a woman the best speaking coach in the world, but if she's still

internally editing herself down, the audience will feel it. The work I do addresses the root, not

the symptom. That's the quantum leap — going internal first, so that everything external

lands with real power.

JP What would surprise someone about how transformation actually happens?

Raimonda Jankunaite

That it's not a gradual climb. Women expect the transformation to be incremental — each

session building slowly on the last.

What actually happens is more like a threshold. They cross it, and something changes

permanently. I've watched women come into one of our speaker experiences and within a

single day completely shed a version of themselves they'd been performing for years. Not

because I told them to. But because the environment we create makes it impossible to hide

— and safe enough that they don't want to anymore.

The surprise is always how fast it happens when the conditions are right. And how

permanent it is. Nobody goes back.

The Style & Strategy

Symphony

JP: How do you use your image and energy as a business asset instead of accessories?

Raimonda Jankunaite

I think about image as the first conversation you have — before a word is spoken. And like

any conversation, it should be consistent with everything that follows. My entire brand is

built on depth, intention and a quiet refusal to conform. My style reflects that.

I'm not interested in looking impressive. I'm interested in looking like myself — which

took far longer to arrive at than any branding strategy. When your image is an honest

expression of your values, it becomes magnetic in a way that manufactured aesthetics

simply can't replicate.

People can feel the difference between someone who is dressed to impress and someone

who is dressed as themselves. One invites admiration. The other invites trust. I'll always

choose trust.

JP When someone experiences your work, what do you want them to feel first -

before they even understand what you've taught them?

Raimonda Jankunaite

Recognised.

Before they feel inspired, before they feel motivated, before any of the intellectual content

lands — I want them to feel that someone in that room sees them.

Not the version they've been presenting to the world, but the one underneath it. The one

that's been waiting for permission. That feeling of recognition is what opens everything else

up. It's what makes women willing to go to places in themselves they've been avoiding.

You can't teach someone who's still guarding themselves. But the moment they feel

genuinely seen, the guard comes down — and that's when the real work begins.

The Industry Revolution:

JP: What industry "rule" did you decide to elegantly break, and how has that rebellion

become your signature competitive advantage?

Raimonda Jankunaite

The rule that expertise has to be performed to be believed. There's a whole industry built

around looking the part — the polished brand, the carefully worded bio, the highlight reel of

achievements. And I understand why it exists.

Women have had to work twice as hard to be taken half as seriously, so the armor made

sense. But armor also keeps people out.

What I discovered is that the women who create the most lasting impact aren't the ones who

looked the most impressive — they're the ones who were willing to be the most honest.

Dropping the armor and speaking from real experience, real struggle, real conviction — that's

what actually moves people. And in an industry full of polish, that kind of honesty is genuinely

rare.

JP: If you could have a private conversation with every woman in your field, what would

you tell them about the gap between where they are and where they could be?

Raimonda Jankunaite

I'd tell them the gap is smaller than they think — and also completely different from what

they've been told it is.

Most women are trying to close the gap by adding more. More credentials, more content, more

strategy, more proof. But the gap isn't created by a lack of anything external. It's created by

how much they're still holding back internally.

The women I work with who make the biggest leaps aren't the ones who learned the most —

they're the ones who finally stopped editing themselves. That's it. Full self-expression is the

gap closer. Not another course. Not another qualification. Just the decision to stop shrinking

and mean it.

Anjel B Hartwell

The Legacy Luxury

JP Fast forward 10 years…what transformation will you be

remembered for pioneering?

Raimonda Jankunaite

I think the shift will be remembered as the moment the industry stopped confusing visibility

with performance.

For a long time, being visible meant being polished — having the right look, the right

message, the right positioning. Women were being coached into a kind of personal brand that

was really just another version of the mask.

What I'm pioneering is a different definition entirely. Visibility rooted in truth. Presence that

comes from the inside out. I want the industry to look back and say that Women Thrive was

where women came to stop performing and start actually being seen — and that the ripple

effect of that changed not just their businesses but the way they moved through the world

entirely.

JP Complete this sentence: "I want every woman who experiences my

work to walk away believing..."

Raimonda Jankunaite

...that she was never the problem.

Not too much, not too little, not too loud, not too quiet.

That every part of her she was taught to manage, minimise or apologise for is actually the most

interesting and powerful thing about her.

That her story — all of it, especially the parts she thought disqualified her — is precisely what

makes her worth listening to. And that the world doesn't need a more palatable version of her.

It needs the real one.

You are the brand

the voice,

the one

who will advocate

for your vision

The Intimate Edge

JP What’s the most vulnerable truth from your journey that

you’ve never shared publicly?

Raimonda Jankunaite

That for a long time I undercharged, underplayed and underestimated what I had built — because I was

still measuring it against someone else's standard.

I'd created something genuinely original, but I kept looking sideways at what others were doing and

wondering if I was doing enough, whether it counted, whether it was legitimate. The innovator's trap is

that you're always ahead of the validation.

The industry hasn't caught up yet, so there's no external mirror to confirm what you're building is real.

Learning to trust the work before the world caught up to it — that was the hardest and most important

thing I ever did.

JP If your life philosophy could be distilled into a single piece of advice for ambitious

women, what would it be?

Raimonda Jankunaite

Stop waiting to feel ready and start deciding to be real.

Readiness is a moving target — there will always be one more thing to learn, one more level to reach, one

more reason to wait. But realness? That's available right now.

The most powerful shift I see in women isn't when they finally feel confident — it's when they finally

decide to stop hiding. That decision doesn't require a certain level of achievement or a particular

moment of clarity. It just requires choosing, today, to show up as you actually are. Everything else grows

from there.

She started with one event in London. A handful of women showed

up. At the end of the evening they asked: when are you doing this

again?

Raimonda Jankunaite had no plan. She was simply following her

instinct that women needed a different kind of space — one built

on safety, collaboration, and the quiet understanding that comes

from being in a room with people who know exactly what you're

carrying.

That evening became Women Thrive.

Today it's a global community of 600,000 women, a team of 15, an

annual summit, a magazine, retreats, a speaking development

programme — and a new book launching June 2026.

In this episode of Cover Story — the Brand Runway conversation

series with our Masterclass cover stars — Jenni Parker Brown sits

down with Raimonda to explore what it actually takes to build

something significant from nothing. Including the part nobody talks

about: doing it alone first.

The vision from here: a book, more live events, and continuing to

give more women their stage. This is the story of a Femme Ceo

who went from solo to global company and how you, too, can have

an unapologetic vision that scales.

The Most Powerful Thing

You Can Do Is

Simply Be Yourself

I want to tell you something I've never said out loud

before.

For a long time, parts of my success were built from

a place of disconnection. Not because I didn't care

— but because I genuinely didn't feel safe to be seen

as I actually was.

I had learned to perform. I knew how to say the right

things, hold myself the right way, show up polished

and put-together. And it worked, on the surface. But

underneath all of it, there was still a quieter part of

me holding back. Unsure whether my real voice —

the full, unfiltered version of it — would ever be

accepted.

The turning point wasn't a business decision. It was a

deeply personal one. I walked away from a six-year

relationship that had been quietly taking me apart.

Disempowering me, blocking my growth, keeping

me completely out of alignment with the woman I

knew I was becoming.

Leaving wasn't just about the relationship. It was a

declaration — to myself, about myself.

But before I could even get to that moment, I had to

face something harder. The truth of what I had

survived. The trauma that had once stripped me of

my voice and, for a time, my entire sense of who I

was.

Reclaiming those things wasn't quiet or graceful. But

it was necessary. Because you cannot build

something real from a version of yourself that isn't

real.

Once I made that declaration, I stopped

performing. I dropped the mask I'd been hiding

behind for years. I came back into alignment

with my actual values, let go of the version of

me I thought I was supposed to be, and

accepted who I had actually become. Almost

immediately, I recognised myself again. And

everything shifted.

Nobody had the code...

When I started out in online business, I was

completely convinced that someone else had

the answers. There had to be a formula, a

mentor, a magic method — and I just needed

to find it and follow it faithfully.

What I kept discovering, over and over, was

that the people I was following were no more

equipped than I was. The playbook everyone

treated as gospel? It had just been inherited

from the person before them, and the person

before that.

Once I stopped looking outward and started

trusting my own instincts, things actually

changed. I've always been someone who goes

against the grain. That was never comfortable

— but it turned out to be the very thing that set

my work apart.

I became obsessive about creating

experiences that actually left people feeling

something. Clients started noticing. They

started naming it. That feedback didn't just

build my confidence — it confirmed what I'd

quietly believed all along: instinct isn't

arrogance. It's the sharpest tool you have.

What the Unapologetic

Framework actually is

Women have been trained for generations to

perfect themselves. To shrink, to smooth their

edges, to show up in a way that's palatable

and agreeable and, above all, flawless.

But that version of you isn't real. It never was.

And when you spend years performing it, you

lose the most powerful thing you have —

yourself.

The framework takes women through a deep

internal shift: learning to speak their truth, own

who they actually are, and embrace the parts

of themselves they were conditioned to hide.

Not despite those parts — because of them.

What surprises women most is that the real

transformation doesn't happen in a coaching

session. It happens when they step onto a

stage as a speaker, or share their words

through our publishing platform.

They show up thinking they're there to deliver a

talk or write a book. What they don't realise is

that the process itself will change how they see

themselves entirely.

I watch it happen every single time. The

woman who walked in full of doubt? She

doesn't walk back out. Someone else does.

At Women Thrive, we help women write and

publish their books, develop as speakers, and

step into public visibility on their own terms.

Thirty per cent of our stages go to women who

have never spoken publicly before. That

matters deeply to me. One woman speaking

her truth for the first time — the ripple effect of

that is something you can never fully

measure.

What We Are Building

At Women Thrive

The rooms we create aren't like any other

rooms. Women arrive guarded and leave

open. There's no competition, no sizing each

other up, no quiet judgment about who's

further along. Women are celebrated here for

the exact things they were taught to hide.

And that's rare enough that it catches people

off guard — in the most beautiful way.

When I think about the legacy of this work, I

don't think it's going to be about the platform.

It'll be about the voices we unlocked. The

women who came in unseen and left fully

knowing who they were and what they had to

say.

If I could leave you with just one thing, it's this:

stop abandoning yourself trying to become

who you think you're supposed to be.

Your voice doesn't need to be made more

acceptable. It needs to be trusted. Own who

you are — fully, without edits — and everything

else follows. Not because you played the

game better than everyone else. But because

you finally stopped leaving yourself behind.

Dress and Get Rich —

When Your Image Starts Selling

Before You Speak

You can spend tens of thousands on a posh

brand identity. A bespoke logo that makes

you go "OMG you've got my star sign in

there!" A website that loads in under two

seconds. A content calendar so polished it

belongs in a museum.

And then you show up on a discovery call

in yesterday's hoodie, hair scraped back

into a scrunchie, background a mish-mash,

energy somewhere on the floor, zero

makeup — and every dollar you spent

whispers quietly out of the room.

YOUR WARDROBE IS NOT A FOOTNOTE

TO YOUR BRAND STRATEGY.

IT IS THE STRATEGY.

Not many people are talking about this.

Very few. Rare. But they know — like I

know.

Wherever you go in your business, before a

single word of your brilliance lands, you

have already been read. It takes three

seconds, maximum.

That is the neurological window in which a

potential prospect's brain has filed you

under yes, maybe, or no. Not your offer. Not

your testimonials. You.

Your image is not what you wear. It is what

you broadcast. And you are broadcasting

right now, whether you intend to or not.

The Science They

Don't Teach

in Business School

Award-winning fashion psychologist

Shakaila Forbes-Bell — whose book Big

Dress Energy is essential reading for any

founder serious about client attraction

— maps the neuroscience behind first

impressions with precision.

What she confirms is what the most

magnetic entrepreneurs and those

smart enough to consult a stylist

already know intuitively: image is not

vanity. It is communication at its most

primal.

When two people meet, the reptilian

brain fires off immediately, scanning for

shared values. Not shared opinions. Not

shared qualifications. Values.

And in a world where your ideal client

has hundreds of options scrolling past

their thumb on any given Tuesday, the

visual alignment between who you say

you are and how you actually show up is

the difference between an enquiry and

a scroll-past.

Can we just put this on a billboard?

This is not about dressing to impress. It

is about dressing to resonate. To attract.

To close — before you have opened your

mouth.

I Learned This on a Film Set

I've heard the word ‘yes’ a lot in my life when I've

applied for something that mattered to me.

Entry into a beauty contest. Acceptance to make

a cookery pilot film. A job managing a jeans shop.

Meeting a burlesque dance troupe leader to

become a dancer — at the age of 41.

And then the yes that changed everything for

this work.

Unexpectedly, I won a brand makeover from a

leading industry figure who, when we met

online, said: "Well, you've got beautiful and stylish

covered."

With a friend's help to buy a plane ticket, I was

whisked from the French Pyrenees to Florida. For

that makeover. For a branding TV reality show

produced by the formidable Ali Craig.

But the makeover didn't end there.

Ali asked me to help style the Season 2 and 3

candidates — because of how naturally I

understood the connection between image and

authority. Between style and brand presence.

She handed me a brief, and I realised that what I

was being asked to do wasn't styling.

It was positioning.

What I understood in that moment — and have

never been able to un-see or un-understand

since — is that style is not separate from brand. It

is the first chapter of it. The one the reader

encounters before they've opened the book.

I've worked this and studied it over the years and

transformed many women's brand presence,

beginning with their image.

© J E N N I P A R K E R B R O W N

So what

actually

is image,

anyway?

Three Pillars. One Frequency.

Your image is built from three elements working in

concert.

Energy is your life force — your vitality, your emotional

set point on any given day. Everything is energy,

including every aspect of your marketing. Your image is

simply the most visible transmission of it. A founder who

has done the inner work but shows up visually depleted

is broadcasting a contradiction. The body doesn't lie,

and neither does the wardrobe.

Purpose is your why — your mission, your values, your

vision. The thing you are here to do. Founders who

cannot yet articulate their message are often surprised

to discover it is already visible in how they show up. Or

rather, in how they don't. Clarity of purpose creates

clarity of presence. The two are not separate

conversations.

Style is the physical expression of both. Not what is

fashionable. Not what is expensive. What is true. The

pieces in your wardrobe that claim who you actually are

— not who you think you should be, not who you were

five years ago, not who would make other people

comfortable.

When these three elements are in coherence, your

personal brand becomes magnetic. You are not chasing

clients. You are calling them in — not just every time you

show up, but every damn day you get dressed.

Aligned style is not a luxury for founders who have

'made it.' It is the mechanism by which you make it.

The Wardrobe Audit

No One Wants to Have.

This is a huge topic and I will develop how it fits

into your whole messaging in the next issue. But

let's start where we are.

Does what is hanging on your hangers right now

reflect the version of you who is closing fivefigure

deals? Who is being invited onto stages?

Who is being featured in the publications that

matter?

Or is it a relic — accumulated from the pandemic

years of nowhere to be and nothing to dress for,

comfortable precisely because it asks nothing of

you?

The founder who journals her intentions every

morning, drops into a meditation, visualises her

seven-figure year — and then gets dressed

without a second thought — has short-circuited

her own work. She has done the inner alignment

and abandoned the outer. The two must move

together.

Eight-figure entrepreneur Kelly Roach — my first

ever cover star — speaks about this directly. How

she shows up for her team, for her clients, for

every interaction in her business. It is not

performance. It is principle.

World-class presentation creates a world-class

frequency — and world-class frequency is

magnetic to world-class results.

This Is Not About Conformity

Dressing with intention has nothing to do with

conforming to what society expects of a successful

woman. The brief is not conservative. It is not

corporate. It is not expensive for the sake of expensive.

The brief is this: does your style speak your success

signature? Does it express who you are in your fullest,

most brilliant, most unapologetic expression? Does it

make you feel — viscerally, in your body — like the

woman you are becoming?

Because your clients need to feel her too. On every

call. In every post. In every room you walk into.

Visibility is the catchword of the era. Every founder

wants more of it. But visibility without alignment is

just noise — showing up everywhere while

communicating nothing.

The founder who has cracked it understands that true

visibility begins in the mirror, not the metrics.

Three Questions Worth Standing in Front of Your

Wardrobe and Asking

Does this reflect who I am now — or who I was two

years ago?

Would I feel powerful wearing this on my best day?

Does this express my success signature — or

someone else's idea of what success looks like?

If the answer to any of these is no — that is not a

wardrobe problem.

That is an opportunity. The most important rebrand

you will ever do costs nothing but honesty.

The Dress and Get Rich Self-Audit

A companion piece to Dress and Get Rich

By Jenni Parker Brown

The wardrobe audit nobody wants to have — but

everyone who's serious about their brand needs.

In Dress and Get Rich, I made the case for why

your image is not a footnote to your brand

strategy. It is the strategy.

The science backs it. The neuroscience confirms it.

And if you've been in business long enough, you

already know it in your body — even if you've been

quietly ignoring it.

This piece is the next step.

Not more theory. A mirror.

The questions below are the ones I use with my

VIP clients when we're getting honest about

where they actually are with their image — not

where they think they are, not where they'd like to

be, but where the evidence currently points.

The questions can be uncomfortable. That's the

point.

It is only when we get genuinely real and raw

about this that we can add the radiance.

Please sit with these. Journal them. Don't answer

quickly. They will reveal questions which can

destabilise your whole brand presence and open a

space for ??

In what ways have you been using your clothes to show yourself that

you're not enough?

Are you keeping your appearance safe because you believe you're not

creative, artistic, or striking enough to dress the way you actually

want to in front of your ideal audience?

Are you buying outfits that feel professionally acceptable — even

though they don't resonate with who you are — because you're afraid

people won't take you seriously if you express your true self?

Are you using your wardrobe to stay invisible? To fit in rather than

stand out — because you don't yet feel entitled to own your

uniqueness?

Do you tell yourself you have no style — and then dress accordingly —

when the truth is you simply haven't yet found the switch?

What would your highest self choose from your current wardrobe

today? And why aren't you wearing it?

What aspects of yourself are you quietly neglecting every time you

get dressed without intention?

Do you find yourself buying what's on sale rather than what you

genuinely love — and calling it practical?

What would a fully confident, fully expressed version of you wear

today? Can you take one step toward that — right now, this morning?

Two final questions. These are the ones that matter most.

Are you ready to commit to showing up as your best self — not for

special occasions, not when you've lost the weight or signed the

clients or hit the revenue — but now?

Are you ready to align your style with the business, the life, and the

standard you say you're building toward?

Because the image you project today is either calling that future

toward you — or quietly telling it you're not quite ready yet.

The most important rebrand you will ever do costs nothing but

honesty.

And it starts in your wardrobe.

For the better part of a decade, the prevailing advice to female

entrepreneurs building businesses online has centred on a single

prescription: be more visible. Post consistently. Show up on multiple

platforms. Stay top of mind.

The logic was sound in principle — if your ideal clients cannot find

you, they cannot hire you.

But the diagnosis was incomplete, and the treatment it produced has

exhausted an entire generation of intelligent, capable women without

delivering the commercial results they were promised.

The problem was never visibility. It was infrastructure.

There is a critical distinction between being seen and being findable

— between content that performs in the moment and authority that

compounds over time.

In 2026, with AI systems increasingly mediating how information is

discovered and attributed, that distinction has become the defining

competitive advantage in the market.

The entrepreneurs who understood this early — who built owned

assets, published named frameworks, secured editorial placement

and created content with genuine permanence — are not competing

for attention in the same arena as everyone else. They have, largely

without realising it, stepped out of the arena entirely.

Searchability is not a technical consideration. It is a commercial one.

WHAT THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS

UNDERSTOOD THAT MOST MARKETING

ADVICE DOES NOT

INTENTIONAL BRAND IMPACT:

THE ARCHITECTURE OF

PERMANENT AUTHORITY

The Little Black Dress endures not because it

follows trends but because it transcends them.

It does not require explanation or context. It works

in every room, at every level, without adjustment.

Its power lies not in novelty but in permanence —

in the quiet confidence of something that has

always been correct and will continue to be correct

regardless of what surrounds it.

Most marketing advice does exactly what bad

fashion does. It makes everyone look the same. It

follows the algorithm the way sheep follow a

seasonal trend — because everyone else is doing it,

because this platform is ascendant this quarter,

because this format is currently performing.

And then the algorithm shifts, the platform

declines, the format saturates, and the cycle begins

again.

Meanwhile, the woman who built something

permanent — who placed her thinking in an

editorial context that exists independently of any

platform’s mood — has been compounding

authority the entire time.

I should confess at this point that I spent years

arguing against the Little Black Dress entirely.

In 2021, in my previous magazine, I wrote at length

about why black was the wrong choice for women

in brand and style — a non-colour, I called it, a void

LUXENSE

of high-vibrational energy, a lazy default for women

too brilliant to borrow someone else’s idea of

power.

I even took apart the House of Chanel with

considerable enthusiasm. I meant every word.

And then, in early 2026, something happened that

made me pick the metaphor back up entirely and

turn it into the most commercially precise

framework I have built in fifteen years of brand

work

What the LBD represents — at its most precise

— is not conformity. It is permanence. The

thing that never expires, never requires

replacing, and works in every room without

requiring the room to be briefed in advance.

In the context of commercial positioning in 2026,

that permanence has a specific and measurable

form.

It means owned assets rather than rented reach.

Editorial authority rather than platform-dependent

exposure.

Content that is indexed, cited and discovered by AI

systems as a credible source — not a carousel that

was briefly engaging before disappearing from the

feed entirely.

A published framework with your name on it.

A magazine feature that exists independently of

any algorithm’s current preferences.

A platform that compounds in authority the longer

it exists, rather than decaying the moment you

stop feeding it.

This is what I have named ‘Intentional Brand

Impact’. And it is precisely what the Little Black

Dress of marketing delivers: a brand that is

designed, placed, discoverable, recognised and

converting — not because it is performing loudly

but because it has been built correctly.

Bespoke. Couture-made.

Commercially devastating in exactly the right

rooms

WHAT TWENTY TWO MILLION VIEWS

TAUGHT ME ABOUT THE

UNIVERSE’S TIMING

Whilst others window-shop success, world class

entrepreneurs build three invisible foundations

that support everything else:

Brand Runway Magazine has accumulated over

eighteen million public views.

That figure did not arrive through aggressive

promotion or platform gaming. It arrived because

digital editorial content — properly structured,

genuinely authoritative, independently hosted — is

inherently mobile.

It moves. It is shared, referenced, indexed and

discovered by people who were never in the

original audience. It places the people within it at

the centre of a searchable, credible, permanent

record of their expertise.

I understood intuitively, even before the current AI

landscape made it explicit, that this kind of

platform would outperform a website over time. A

magazine has prestige. It signals curation and

editorial standard. And in an environment where AI

systems are increasingly determining who gets

cited as authoritative and who gets overlooked,

editorial placement is not a vanity exercise. It is

infrastructure.

Brand Runway Spotlight — the second publication

in this media house, launching in April 2026 —

exists because editorial placement as a choice

rather than a selection, is the most strategically

significant commercial move a brilliant woman can

make right now.

Those who are within it are not simply featured.

They are positioned. They wear, to extend the

metaphor, their own version of the Big Me Dress —

the one built around their authority, their

frequency, their unique market position, with

permanent, AI-favouring infrastructure behind it.

SEARCHABLE IS THE NEW BLACK.

AND LIKE THE ACTUAL DRESS —

IT DRAWS ATTENTION TO

WHO IS WEARING IT, NOT TO ITSELF.

THE THREE

WORLD CLASS TRUST BUILDERS

Reliability Over Flash:

Being someone people can count on absolutely.

When you say you'll reply within 24 hours, you

reply within 24 hours. When you commit to

something, you deliver. This simple reliability

becomes magnetic in a world exhausted by letdowns.

Presence Over Performance:

Showing up fully engaged in every interaction. Not

performing success or rushing to the next thing,

but genuinely present with whoever's in front of

you. People feel the difference between someone

who's present and someone who's performing.

Character Over Credentials:

Understanding that credentials mean nothing if

your character can't support them. World-class

character is what makes achievements

meaningful instead of just impressive.

The Personal Brand Reality: Your Highest Self in

Action

Your personal brand isn't logos or colour

schemes - it's the living, breathing affirmation of

your highest self showing up consistently in the

world.

When your brand becomes the natural

expression of who you are at your absolute best,

that's when people start assuming you belong in

rooms you haven't technically earned access to

yet.

This alignment between your values, your presence, and your way of

moving through the world creates what I call "inevitable positioning" -

where your success feels natural rather than forced, and opportunities

flow toward you rather than requiring constant pursuit.

The Practical Application:

Making Excellence Your Default

World-class isn't about occasional moments of brilliance - it's about

making excellence your everyday operating system. This happens

through:

Consistent Standards:

Bringing your absolute best to every interaction, whether it's a potential

client call or a simple email reply. Your smallest actions build or erode

trust just as much as your biggest achievements.

Strategic Thinking: Operating from empire-level psychology even when

building from solo entrepreneur reality. Thinking systemically about

growth rather than incrementally about improvement.

Energy Management:

Maintaining world-class energy even in the face of challenges. This isn't

about suppressing difficulties - it's about staying radiant and resourceful

rather than reactive.

Authentic Excellence: Never compromising your values for short-term

gains. World-class entrepreneurs understand that sustainable success

requires unwavering integrity.

The Revolution: From Window Shopping to Empire Building

The most liberating realisation about world-class positioning is that you

don't have to wait for permission or perfect credentials to start operating

at this level. You just have to decide that your highest self deserves to

show up today.

When you align your natural brilliance with sophisticated execution,

when you combine authentic values with impeccable standards, when

you radiate the energy that creates opportunities rather than chasing

them - that's when you stop being someone who admires world-class

entrepreneurs and become one yourself.

The sophisticated universe you've been admiring from outside? You're

already qualified to build it. The only question is whether you're brave

enough to start.

The Personal Brand Reality: Your Highest Self in Action

Your personal brand isn't logos or colour schemes - it's the living,

breathing affirmation of your highest self showing up consistently in the

world.

When your brand becomes the natural expression of who you are at your

absolute best, that's when people start assuming you belong in rooms

you haven't technically earned access to yet.

TO ELEVATE YOUR

USING THE POWER OF NUMEROLOGY

BUSINESS SUCCESS

The Solo Femme CEO -

In support of the woman solo-preneur

®

When you are building a business as a solo femme CEO,

the rules are different. It is not just about keeping

everything running, ticking off the to do list, or following

the latest business formula someone else says will work. It

is about knowing who you are, how you work best, and

what kind of business success is actually right for you.

That is where Bizology® comes in.

Bizology® uses the powers of numerology to help you

understand yourself as the woman behind the business.

Because when you are a solo business owner, you are not

separate from the brand. You are the leader, the ideas

person, the decision-maker, the visionary and the engine

room.

Your energy touches everything. So if you do not

understand yourself deeply, it is very easy to build a

business that looks good on the outside but feels heavy,

forced or out of alignment on the inside.

Your numbers show you how you are designed to lead,

communicate, make decisions, build relationships, handle

pressure and create success.

They reveal your natural strengths, your recurring

challenges and the patterns that can hold you back if left

unchecked. This is not about putting you in a box.

It is about showing you the most effective way for you to

operate, so that you stop trying to do business like

somebody else and start doing it in a way that fits.

For some women, success comes through leadership,

innovation and independence. For others, it comes

through connection, service, visibility, intuition, creativity,

authority or building something substantial and lasting.

No two numeric charts are the same, because no two

women are the same.

This is why there is no one-size-fits-all formula in

business. When you understand your numeric blueprint,

you stop wasting time on strategies that drain you. You

become clearer on your message, more confident in

your decisions and more grounded in the way you move

forward. You start to trust your own pace, your own path

and your own power.

That is the real gift of Bizology®. It brings you back to

yourself. And when a woman is fully aligned with who

she is, how she works and what she is here to do, she

does not just build a business.

She builds it her way.

Let’s look at this through the lens of your Life Path

number.

LIFE PATH 1

THE LEADER

As a Solo Femme CEO, you are not here to follow

– you are here to lead. Your business will not

work when you are trying to fit into someone

else’s model or waiting for permission. You are

the initiator, the one with the ideas, the one who

sees what others don’t yet see.

Your success comes from backing yourself,

taking action and trusting your instincts. The

challenge? Slowing down enough to build

something sustainable. You are here to create

the new, but not at the cost of burning

everything out. Lead your business your way,

stay in your lane and keep moving forward.

2

LIFE PATH 2

THE SENSITIVE

As a Solo Femme CEO, your power is not loud, it

is influential. You are here to build your business

through connection, trust and emotional

intelligence. You read people well, you sense

what’s going on and you create spaces where

others feel seen and supported. Your success

comes through relationships, collaboration and

community. The challenge? Doubt and second

3

guessing yourself. You must trust your intuition

and stop looking outside of yourself for

validation. You don’t need to force anything in

business, your strength is in your presence.

When you feel safe and supported, your

business flows.

LIFE PATH 3

THE COMMUNICATOR

As a Solo Femme CEO, your business grows

when you are seen and heard. You are here

to express, to share, to speak, to write, to

create. Your voice is your asset. Your energy

lifts people, your ideas inspire and your

words connect. When you hold back, your

business stalls. When you show up,

everything moves. The challenge? Caring too

much about what people think. You are not

here to please everyone. You are here to

communicate your message clearly and

consistently. Put your word into the world,

stay visible and let your natural charisma do

the heavy lifting in your business.

4

LIFE PATH 4 - THE BUILDER

5

As a Solo Femme CEO, you are here to build

something real. You are the one who turns ideas

into structure, plans into action and vision into

results. Your business thrives when there are

systems, processes and clear foundations in place.

You are reliable, focused and get the job done. The

challenge? Becoming too rigid and overcontrolling

everything. Not everything needs to be

perfect before you move. Your success comes from

consistency, not perfection. Keep building, keep

refining, but stay open to change. Slow and steady

works for you, just don’t let it become stuck.

6

LIFE PATH 5

THE ADVENTURER

As a Solo Femme CEO, your business needs

freedom to thrive. You are not here to be boxed

in, tied down or doing the same thing day in, day

out. Your energy is magnetic when you are

excited, evolving and exploring new

opportunities. You bring change, movement and

fresh ideas into business. The challenge?

Scattering your energy and not finishing what

you start. You can do anything, but not

everything at once. Your success comes from

choosing what matters and following it through.

Keep it dynamic, keep it interesting, but give your

ideas enough time to land.

LIFE PATH 6 - THE NURTURER

As a Solo Femme CEO, your business is built on relationships. You are here to care, support,

guide and create a sense of belonging. People feel safe with you, and that is your superpower.

Your success comes from community, loyalty and connection. The challenge? Giving too

much and losing yourself in the process. You are not here to carry everyone. Boundaries are

essential. When you value yourself, your time and your energy, your business becomes

stronger. Lead with heart, but don’t forget to protect it. You don’t need to do it all to be

successful.

LIFE PATH 7

THE SEEKER

As a Solo Femme CEO, you are here to go

deeper than most. You are the thinker, the

analyst, the one who questions everything and

finds the truth. Your business thrives when you

are learning, researching and becoming a

specialist in your field. You don’t follow trends,

you understand them. The challenge?

Overthinking and holding yourself back. You

don’t need to know everything before you act.

Your knowledge is valuable, but it needs to be

shared. Create space to think, but also create

space to move. When you trust what you know,

others will too.

LIFE PATH 8 - THE CEO

As a Solo Femme CEO, you are built for business.

You understand money, strategy, results and

what it takes to succeed. You are here to lead, to

grow, to build something substantial. Your

energy is powerful when you own it. Your

success comes from stepping fully into your

authority and playing a bigger game. The

challenge? Being too hard on yourself and

making everything about results. You don’t have

to prove your worth through pressure. When you

balance ambition with self-trust, everything

works better. You are here for success, but it

needs to feel aligned.

LIFE PATH 9 - THE HUMANITARIAN9

As a Solo Femme CEO, your business is about impact.

You are here to help, to serve, to make a difference. You see the bigger picture and you feel

things deeply. Your success comes when your work means something, when it connects to

purpose. The challenge? Boundaries. You can give too much, overextend and forget yourself in

the process. You are not here to save everyone. You are here to serve from strength, not

depletion. When you balance purpose with structure, your business becomes powerful,

sustainable and deeply fulfilling.

A WORD ON MASTER NUMBERS

If you are working with a Master Number, as a solo CEO, your business is not just about income,

visibility or growth. It is about responsibility. You are here to lead at a higher level, to hold more, see

more and deliver work that has depth, meaning and impact.

Whether you are a Life Path 11 or 22, there is a heightened sensitivity and awareness that comes with

your numbers. You feel more, you see more and you often know things before they make logical

sense. This is your strength, but it can also feel overwhelming if you do not know how to work with it.

8

The challenge for Master Numbers is not capability, it is capacity. You can default to the lower

expression of your number, playing small, overthinking, doubting yourself or staying in what feels

safe and manageable. Or you can step into the higher expression, leading, building, teaching and

creating at a level that most people are not willing to hold.

LIFE PATH 11 - THE SPIRITUAL TEACHER

As a Solo Femme CEO, your business is guided by something bigger than you. You are intuitive,

insightful and here to inspire. You see what others don’t and you feel called to share it. Your

success comes when you trust that inner guidance and give it direction. The challenge?

Overwhelm and emotional extremes. Your energy is powerful, but it needs grounding. You need

structure to support your vision. When you balance intuition with action, your business becomes

a force. You are not here to play small, but you do need a plan.

LIFE PATH 22 - THE ARCHITECT OF CHANGE

9

As a solo business owner, this is where it matters. You need structure to support your vision. You

need boundaries to protect your energy. And you need to trust what you know, even when others do

not yet see it.

This is not about doing more. It is about operating at a higher standard. When you align your

business with your Master Number, you stop trying to fit into smaller models and start building

something that reflects the scale of what you are here to do. This is where your business moves

from functional… to powerful. And from powerful… to meaningful. Because you are not here to run a

business. You are here to lead something that matters.

As a Solo Femme CEO, you are here for scale and impact. You are not here to play small or

create something average. You are here to build something that lasts, something that changes

things for others. Your potential is huge. The challenge? Getting in your own way and defaulting

to smaller thinking. It is easier to play it safe, but that is not your path. You are here to go big.

When you trust your vision and back it with action, you create real change. This is not a small

business energy. This is legacy work.

The Femme

SOLO CEO

The truth about building a

business your way.

by Hayley Su Buchanan

There’s a narrative that gets sold to women all the time.

Start your own business. Be a solopreneur. It’s easier

than working for someone else.

Let me tell you, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Being a solo CEO doesn’t mean freedom from

responsibility. It means intimacy with it.

Your mind doesn’t switch off. It expands.

You are constantly thinking. Constantly creating.

“What if I did this?”

“What if I changed that?”

“How would this work?”

“What if it doesn’t?”

Your business doesn’t live outside of you. It lives within

you. And with that comes everything: the vision, the

expansion, the growth but also the doubt, the pressure,

the “what if I can’t cover everything this month?”

This is the reality of the Femme SOLO CEO.

I started my first business at 21. I didn’t know what

I was doing but I knew I was meant for something

different. I built. I grew. I closed.

I rebuilt.

Proving to my father that I was worthy. That I

could do it. That I was enough. And like so many

women, I thought doing it all myself was the

answer.

And eventually, I created a six-figure wellness

spa.

From the outside, it looked like success but

behind the scenes? It was long days. Physical

exhaustion. Seven days a week. No boundaries.

No rest. Just push. Push harder. Grow more. Do

more.

I almost lost my pregnancy during that time

because I was still pushing. And yes, I did it.

I built the business. I made the money. But at

what cost? My health. My body. My sense of ease.

I had completely burned out my nervous system

building success. I learned that wealth created

through pressure always comes with a price.

When your nervous system is dysregulated, your

body doesn't feel safe holding more so you

unconsciously sabotage or cap your success to

stay within your comfort zone.

I had created success but it wasn’t ease-filled.

Looking back, I can see something clearly now. I

wasn’t just building a business. I was proving

something.

Proving to the world that there was a different

way this was the early days of energy work and

embodiment in business. Proving that I could

succeed in an industry that didn’t yet exist.

I’m a Manifesting Generator 2/4 in Human

Design. I move fast. I build fast. I see things

quickly. So I told myself, “It’s quicker if I just do it.”

But faster isn’t always better.

And independence isn’t the same as alignment.

Everything changed when I stepped away.

When I sold my business, I didn’t just take time

off, I came back to myself. That’s when I

discovered Human Design and for the first time, I

understood why I had built the way I had and

why it had cost me so much.

Human Design showed me where I was forcing.

Where I was overgiving. Where I was trying to be

someone I wasn’t designed to be. It showed me

my defined centres, my areas of mastery and

my open centres, where I was taking on pressure

that wasn’t even mine.

And that changed everything.

Because here’s some truth no one tells you

about being a solo CEO: It’s not just about

strategy. It’s about self-awareness.

If you have an open head centre, you are

constantly receiving ideas, thoughts, inspiration,

not all of them yours. Without awareness, that

becomes overwhelm.

If you have an open root, you feel pressure, to

perform, to produce, to keep up. Without awareness,

that becomes burnout. If you are undefined

emotionally, you may be amplifying everyone else’s

feelings, making decisions from intensity instead of

truth.

We build businesses without ever understanding

how we are designed to operate.

We follow someone else’s blueprint.

Someone else’s pace. Someone else’s way and then

we wonder why it feels so hard.

What if it’s not meant to be this hard? What if you’re

not doing it wrong, you’ve just been doing it

someone else’s way?

The Femme SOLO CEO is not here to prove anything.

She is here to build in alignment with who she

actually is.

She understands that her business is an extension of

her energy. That her capacity to receive determines

her capacity to grow. That success is not built

through force but through awareness.

And most importantly, she understands the power of

receiving.

As women, we are taught to give. To nurture. To hold

everything together.

We are everything to everyone and somewhere

along the way, we forget how to receive.

Receive support.

Receive guidance.

Receive ease.

Receive wealth.

But your business will only grow to the level you are

willing to receive. Not just money but help, support,

expansion, space.

This is where The Extra Ordinary comes in because

success isn’t something you chase. It’s something you

begin to notice. In your body, in your breath, in the small

moments where things just work.

The aligned client. The idea that lands effortlessly. The

moment you choose rest instead of pushing and

everything still moves.

The Extra Ordinary is always there. But when you’re in

survival mode, you miss it.

This is why I now work as an Energetic Midwife of the

Extra Ordinary. I help successful women birth themselves

from force-based business into embodied wealth.

Because the deepest business strategy isn't in your

head. It's in your body.

So what does it actually look like to build as a Femme

SOLO CEO?

It looks like:

• Knowing your design

• Honouring your energy

• Making decisions that feel clean in your body

• Letting go of proving

• Allowing support

• Choosing ease-filled expansion over forced growth

It looks like trusting that your way is enough because

you get one life. One experience in this body. And the

question becomes: Are you building a business that

lights you up? Or one that slowly disconnects you from

yourself?

You don't need to hustle harder. You need to trust

yourself deeper. Because when you finally build from

your body's wisdom instead of your mind's force, you

don't just create a business, you birth yourself into the

woman who was always meant to receive everything

she desires.

EMBODIMENT PRACTICE:

Authority-Based Decision Making for the Solo CEO

Your Human Design Authority is your built-in business

intelligence system.

Before your next big decision, honour how YOU ARE

designed to choose:

SACRAL AUTHORITY:

Ask your gut a yes/no question about the decision. Listen

for the "uh-huh" (yes) or "un-uh" (no) response. Your

sacral knows immediately, don't overthink it.

EMOTIONAL AUTHORITY:

Don't decide in the heat of the moment. Sleep on it. Your

clarity comes in waves, wait for the emotional wave to

pass and see how you feel then. Patience is your

superpower.

SPLENIC AUTHORITY:

Trust your first instinct. It's subtle but immediate. That

quiet "yes" or gentle "no" in your body? That's your spleen

speaking. Don't second-guess it.

PROJECTOR (Invitation-based):

Ask yourself: "Am I being invited into this opportunity, or

am I pushing for it?" Wait for the invitation, then trust your

inner knowing.

HEART/EGO AUTHORITY:

Does this decision serve your willpower and desires? Does

it feel aligned with what YOU truly want, not what you think

you should want?

Your authority is your energetic GPS for business success.

When you follow it, you build wealth that feels sustainable,

not scary.

Stop making decisions from your mind. Start trusting your

design.

one woman

one brand

unlimited reach

N

obody told you running a solo business

would feel this layered.

It is specific to you and that specificity is exactly

what your audience is looking for.

How many hats are you wearing?

You're the strategist, the creator, the client

manager, the bookkeeper, and somewhere in

the middle of all of that, you're also supposed to

be showing up online with a consistent,

compelling presence that makes people want to

work with you.

Most days you are doing all of this before lunch.

It is a lot to hold, and the pressure to keep your

social media going on top of everything else can

start to feel like one demand too many,

especially when you factor in life too.

So, here's what I want you to sit with for a

moment. The thing you might be subconsciously

thinking of as a disadvantage ( being the only

voice in your business), could actually the most

powerful asset you have when it comes to social

media.

Not in spite of being solo. Because of it.

The way you show up online, when

you let yourself do it on your own

terms, is something no amount of

planning or resource can

manufacture.

Your audience didn’t find you looking for a brand.

They found you looking for a person.

One voice. Undiluted.

Every piece of content you put out comes from

the same source. Your values, your lived

experience, your specific way of seeing your

industry.

There is no committee deciding what you are

allowed to say. No approval process smoothing

out your edges. No version of you that has been

watered down to keep everyone comfortable.

What comes through in your content is you, and

that is far rarer than you might think.

The businesses that people feel genuinely

connected to online are almost always the ones

where a real human perspective is coming

through clearly.

People can tell when they are reading

something that has been passed through layers

before it reached them, and they scroll past it.

What makes them stop is the sense that

someone is actually talking to them,

not at them.

“visionary

leadership

“visionary

leadership

requires

requires

‘edges’” ‘edges’”

one , one woman, one brand,

, one brand, unlimited reach

unlimited reach

Someone who has thought about their specific

situation and has something honest to say about it.

That coherence is something your audience can feel.

They know when they are hearing a real perspective

from a real person.

They come back for it. They share it. They mention

you to people in their world because you said

something that actually landed.

That kind of connection doesn’t happen by accident,

it happens because your one consistent voice kept

showing up and telling the truth. You have that.

Use it.

Presence over posting

One of the most liberating shifts you can make as a

solo CEO is to stop measuring your social media by

volume.

How much you post is not the point.

How much each post means to the person who reads

itm, that’s the qusetion you need to ask before

pressing the post button.

When you stop chasing a posting schedule and start

asking what your audience actually needs to hear

from you right now, the whole thing starts to feel less

like an arduous chore on your to-do list and more like

a conversation.

A single piece of content that speaks directly to where

your audience is right now will do more for your

business than a month of content that does not.

This means you can slow down. You can be intentional.

You can choose one or two platforms where

your people actually are and show up there with

real depth, rather than spreading yourself thin

trying to maintain a presence everywhere at

once.

Pick the platforms that feel natural to you and

where your audience spends time.

Go there consistently and go there with

something worth saying.

You are not failing if you are not on every

platform. You are focusing. There is a significant

difference, and the sooner you give yourself

permission to draw that line, the more

sustainable your content becomes.

Slow down. One piece of content that genuinely lands

will always outwork ten that don't.

Content that keeps working

Your time is finite and your energy is precious. The

content you create needs to respect both of those

things.

Your goal shouldn’t be about producing more. Your

goal is to be smarter about how you create and

what you create.

It is to produce things that keep finding new people

long after you have moved on to the next thing on

your list.

Content with a long shelf life is one of the solo CEO's

greatest tools, and it does not require more hours. It

requires a different kind of thinking about what you

create.

Content with longevity tends to do one of a few

things. It names a frustration your audience has

been quietly carrying and has not yet seen put into

words. It challenges a belief they have held about

their industry or themselves.

It shares a lesson from your own experience that they can take and apply directly to their situation.

That kind of content doesn’t expire in 24 hours. It grows. It travels. It gets shared into circles you aren’t

part of. It works for you while you are doing everything else.

One solid piece of long-form content, a video, a newsletter, a detailed post, something like this can

feed your short-form content for weeks.

A single idea explored well can become a carousel, a series of stories, a caption, a talking point in a

podcast interview.

You do not have to start from scratch every day.

You just have to start, and then let the idea carry you further than you thought it would.

The audience that actually buys

Follower counts are a vanity metric and most of us

know it by now.

What matters is the quality of the connection, not

the size of the number. A few hundred people who

genuinely look forward to hearing from you, who

trust your perspective, who feel like you understand

their world, that audience will sustain a business. A

large, passive following will not.

The aim is having the right people finding you and

feeling, when they do, that they have found exactly

what they were looking for.

As a solo CEO you have something genuinely rare:

the ability to make people feel known.

You can respond to them directly and mean it.

You can create content that speaks to exactly

where they are because you have been where they

are.

You can let them into the real story of running your

business, the wins, the pivots, the days when

everything takes longer than it should, because

there is no layer between you and your audience.

That intimacy is what converts a follower into a

client.

And a client into someone who tells everyone about

you without being asked.

You already have what you need

As a femme solo CEO you don’t need more tools,

more platforms, or more hours in the day. You need

to trust who you already are; a specific,

experienced, real entrepreneurial woman who is

exactly what her audience is looking for.

Social media is not a game you win by having the

most resources. It is a game you win by showing up

consistently as yourself and giving your audience a

genuine reason to keep paying attention.

The accounts people are loyal to are not always

the most polished ones. They are the ones where

something true comes through.

Where you feel like the person behind it actually

cares about the people they are talking to.

Where the content feels like it was written for

you, not just published into the void and hoped

for the best.

That quality of connection is available to you

right now, today, without anything more than

you already have.

You just have to show up as yourself, say the

things you actually think, and keep going long

enough for the right people to find you.

That is it. That is the whole strategy.

And you are already more ready for it than you

think.

Feel-Good

Networking

is the Ultimate Scalable Strategy (And the Solo

CEO’s Secret Weapon)

Being a Femme Solo CEO is a bold

adventure, but it shouldn't be a lonely

one. In the online slopdom of highpressure

sales and cold outreach, it’s easy

to feel like networking is just another

chore on an overstuffed plate. But what if

networking wasn't about getting anything

at all? What if it was your primary tool for

building a world-class support system

while lifting others up?

At District Bliss, we believe that when you

shift your networking energy from

acquisition to contribution, you unlock a

level of success that hustle culture simply

can't touch. Here is the four-step feelgood

strategy to transform your

connections into a powerhouse

community.

1. Get Clear on Your Goals

(Hint: It’s Not Just Sales)

Before you enter any room - virtual or inperson

- check your intentions. If your

only goal is direct client acquisition, you’re

missing the forest for the trees. For a Solo

CEO, the highest-value outcomes are

often strategic partnerships, visibility,

and collaborative opportunities. When

DISTRICTBLISS.COM

you stop looking for your next client and

start looking for your next collaborator,

the pressure vanishes. You aren’t there to

close anyone; you’re there to expand your

ecosystem.

2. Become a Master of

Discovery

The most powerful person in the room

isn't the one talking the loudest; it’s the

one asking the best questions. To support

others effectively, you have to understand

their landscape.

Boldly ask:

"What is the biggest challenge sitting

on your desk right now?"

"What goal are you currently chasing

that feels just out of reach?"

"If you could have one introduction

today, who would it be to?"

By focusing on their struggles and goals,

you transition from a stranger to a

confidante. You’re gathering the data you

need to be truly helpful.

@DISTRICTBLISSEVENTS

DISTRCIT BLISS

3. Lead with the

Generosity-First Hack

Once you know what they need, become

the bridge. This is where the feel-good

magic happens. Sharing your resources

doesn't just help them; it establishes you

as an authority and a connector.

Share Resources: Recommend that

book, tool, or podcast that changed

your business.

Offer Intro Emails: If you know

someone who can solve their problem,

make the introduction.

Lend Your Expertise: Share a

personal experience where you

overcame a similar hurdle.

When you help a fellow solopreneur

accomplish their goals, you create a

vibrational resonance of success. You’re

no longer a lone wolf - you’re the leader of

a pack.

4. Nurture the Ripple

Effect

Networking isn't a sprint - it’s a long-term

investment in human capital. The femme

solopreneur thrives when she stays topof-mind.

Nurturing relationships doesn't have to be

complicated. A quick DM sharing a

relevant article, an invitation to a District

Bliss Networking Social, or a 15-minute

virtual coffee chat keeps the connection

alive. When you consistently show up with

a mindset of support, you don't have to

sell yourself. Your reputation for

generosity does the heavy lifting for you.

The Takeaway: True brand impact in 2026 comes from the quality

of your community. By shifting your strategy to one of intentional

support, you don't just build a business - you build a movement.

When we support each other, the solo in CEO becomes a badge of

independence, backed by the strength of a collective.

DINA BEHRMAN

PR THAT POSITIONS YOU AS THE AUTHORITY

IN YOUR FIELD

The Visibility Gap:

Why So Many Brilliant Female Solopreneurs Stay Invisible

(and How to Change That)

There’s a pattern I see over and over again: highly

skilled, experienced women building solid businesses

- yet barely visible outside their existing audience.

They’re doing the work. They’re getting results for

clients. They’re showing up consistently on social

media.

And still, they’re overlooked - because they’re not

visible in the right places.

This is what I call the visibility gap - the space

between your expertise and the recognition you

actually receive.

And for many female solopreneurs, that gap is

costing more than they realise.

Why the visibility gap exists

Most women aren’t actively choosing to stay

invisible, but they are taking actions, based on

certain beliefs, that inadvertently keep them there.

The first is conditioning. Many women have been

taught - explicitly or not - that being “too visible” can

come across as arrogant or self-promotional. So

they default to playing it safe: sharing value, staying

helpful, but not actually speaking up or taking up

space.

Then there’s the over-reliance on social media. It

feels like visibility, but in reality, you’re often speaking

to the same small audience on repeat. You’re visible,

but only within your online bubble.

There’s also the belief that PR is something you do

later. After you’ve grown more, after everything feels

more polished, after you feel “ready.” The problem is,

that moment rarely comes.

What visibility actually means in business

Visibility doesn’t have to mean being everywhere. It’s

about being seen credibly in the right places.

This is where PR changes the game.

When you’re featured in the media, you’re no longer

just another business owner talking about what you

do - you’re being positioned as a voice worth

listening to. That third-party validation is so much

more powerful than simple self-promotion.

It also expands your reach beyond your existing

audience. Instead of repeating yourself to the same

people, you’re being introduced to entirely new ones,

who already see you as credible.

In other words, PR doesn’t just increase visibility. It

elevates it.

What being “PR ready” really looks like

One of the biggest misconceptions is that you need to be at a certain level before

you can start showing up in the media.

But in reality, you don’t need:

A huge following

A perfectly polished brand

Years of experience

What you do need is far simpler, and often overlooked.

You need a clear perspective.

Journalists aren’t looking for the most established person in the room. They’re looking

for someone who can add to a conversation. Someone with a point of view. Someone

who can say something interesting, timely, or different.

That’s something you can do, even if you don’t feel “ready.”

How to start closing the gap

Closing the visibility gap means doing things differently. Start with your opinions.

What do you disagree with in your industry? What do you see clients struggling with

that no one is talking about properly? That’s where some of your strongest PR angles

will be.

Connect your story to bigger conversations. Your personal experience becomes far

more powerful when it links to something wider - whether that’s a trend, a shift in your

industry, or a conversation that people are having around the watercooler.

Pitch ideas, not yourself. “I run a business” isn’t a story. But a specific angle, insight, or

perspective is.

And most importantly, stop waiting to feel ready. Visibility isn’t something that comes

after confidence, it’s what builds it.

The real cost of staying invisible

When you stay within your current level of visibility, your growth is limited by it.

Fewer opportunities come your way.

Your authority takes longer to build.

And often, people with less experience, but more visibility, become the ones getting

noticed.

They’re not ‘better’ than you, they’re the ones who are putting themselves out there

and being seen and heard.

Closing the gap starts with a decision

If your work genuinely helps people, being visible isn’t about blowing your own

trumpet for the sake of it, it’s about reaching more of the people you’re here to help.

The visibility gap doesn’t close on its own. It closes when you decide that your voice is

worth hearing - and start putting it in the places that matter.

It’s time to

get you

seen & heard!

After ten years working as a journalist, I set up a side-hustle offering

copywriting and PR. But I was playing small, under-charging, and

instead of publicising myself, I was hiding. I ended up overworked,

underpaid and heading for burnout. In 2015 after giving birth to my

eldest daughter, I decided things needed to change. I rebranded my

business and re-launched as a publicity coach & PR strategist. I shifted

my mindset and started owning my expertise.

By practicing what I preach I was able to get myself out there, get

featured and grow my business to six-figures. Today, I help

entrepreneurs worldwide claim their expert status and get featured in

places like Forbes, Business Insider, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, Marie

Claire, Cosmopolitan, BBC and more. Through my ‘Done For You’ and

‘Done With You’ PR packages and my PR membership, I help coaches,

consultants and service-based business owners to pitch the press, get

featured and leverage their publicity to amplify their impact, influence

and income.

The Rise of the Femme Solo CEO

How women are building authority,

leverage, and independence without

large teams.

For decades, business success has

been measured by scale.

More employees. More

departments. More complexity.

Growth was often equated with expansion, and

leadership was defined by how many people

reported to you.

But a quiet shift is happening in entrepreneurship,

led by a new generation of women building

businesses on their own terms.

The Femme Solo CEO.

She is not building a company designed to

manage a large workforce. She is building

authority.

With the right systems, visibility architecture, and

intellectual assets, a solo founder can now

operate with a level of leverage that previously

required an entire organisation.

Small team.

Big authority.

The Myth of Bigger Is Better

One of the most persistent assumptions in business is

that growth inevitably requires a growing team.

But many founders eventually discover that expanding

headcount does not automatically create freedom. In

fact, it often introduces a new layer of complexity:

management responsibilities, operational overhead,

and the emotional labour of leading a larger

organisation.

For the Femme Solo CEO, growth is not measured by

how many people she hires.

It is measured by how intelligently she designs her

business.

Instead of building a large team, she builds leverage.

Leverage through systems.

Leverage through visibility.

Leverage through intellectual assets.

The goal is not to become busier.

The goal is to create a business structure where effort

compounds.

This is where the solo founder becomes a strategist

rather than simply an operator.

With the right systems,

visibility architecture,

and intellectual assets,

a solo founder can

now operate with a

level of leverage that

previously required an

entire organisation.

The Four Levers

of the Femme Solo CEO

Instead of scaling through headcount, the

Femme Solo CEO scales through leverage.

Four strategic levers allow her to build

authority and sustainable income without

creating unnecessary complexity.

1. Authority

Authority is the strategic foundation of the

solo CEO.

Rather than competing for attention through

constant output, she develops a clear

perspective that attracts the right audience.

Authority compounds through clarity.

The more consistent the message, the easier

it becomes for people to recognise and trust

the work behind it.

When authority is strong, opportunities begin

to appear naturally. Partnerships form,

referrals circulate, and clients arrive already

aligned with the founder’s philosophy.

Authority reduces the need for constant

persuasion.

2. Evergreen Visibility

Most entrepreneurs rely on bursts of visibility.

Launch. Promote. Spike. Drop. Repeat.

The Femme Solo CEO designs visibility that

compounds.

Evergreen visibility means creating assets

that continue attracting attention long after

they are created.

Thoughtful content frameworks, repeatable

workshops, and evergreen entry points allow

visibility to accumulate rather than disappear.

Instead of chasing attention every day, she

builds structures where attention continues

flowing over time.

Visibility becomes an asset rather than a

constant obligation.

3. Structural Ecosystems

Visibility alone does not create a business.

It must connect to a clear ecosystem.

The Femme Solo CEO intentionally connects

three essential elements:

Content.

Community.

Conversion.

Content attracts attention and introduces

ideas.

Community deepens trust and conversation.

Conversion creates the opportunity for

revenue.

When these elements are intentionally

connected, the business becomes selfreinforcing.

Content feeds community.

Community feeds opportunity.

Opportunity strengthens authority.

Without this structural coherence, visibility

remains noise.

With it, attention begins to compound.

The Four Levers of

the Femme Solo CEO

4. Emotional Stability

The final lever is often overlooked, but it is

essential for long-term success.

The solo CEO is not only responsible for

strategy and execution. She is also

responsible for regulating the emotional

climate of the business.

Engagement fluctuates.

Revenue cycles.

Momentum rises and falls.

Reactive founders rebuild every time results

dip. They pivot their messaging, redesign their

offers, or start something entirely new.

The Femme Solo CEO takes a different

approach.

She refines instead of reinvents.

She understands that systems need time to

mature. Visibility needs repetition to stabilise.

Authority needs consistency to compound.

Calm leadership allows the architecture of

the business to strengthen over time.

And when the structure is stable, growth

becomes far more predictable.

Evergreen Systems Replace the Need for Large

Teams

One of the most liberating insights for solo

founders is that growth no longer requires large

teams.

Digital ecosystems now allow a single founder to

build a business where content attracts

attention, communities nurture relationships,

and structured offers create clear revenue

pathways.

Evergreen systems ensure that the work done

today continues generating momentum

tomorrow.

A well-designed workshop can welcome new

clients every month.

A strong framework can shape years of content.

A community can deepen trust without constant

one-to-one effort.

These systems allow the solo CEO to scale

influence without scaling complexity.

It is not about doing everything alone.

It is about designing a business where systems

carry the weight of growth.

A Different Model of Leadership

The rise of the Femme Solo CEO represents

a subtle but powerful shift in how success

is defined.

Leadership is no longer measured by the

size of a company or the number of

employees on payroll.

It is measured by leverage.

By authority that attracts opportunity.

By visibility that compounds.

By ecosystems that convert attention into

sustainable income.

The most powerful solo founders are not

trying to build larger organisations.

They are building smarter ones.

Businesses where systems support growth.

Where authority travels further than

advertising.

Where independence is not a limitation,

but a strategic advantage.

Small team.

Big authority.

That is the future of leadership.

to build larger organisations.

They are building smarter ones.

Businesses where systems support growth.

Brand Runway Editorial Standards — AI & Authenticity

Brand Runway publishes human thinking.

Every article in this publication originates from the lived expertise, personal experience, and original voice of

its contributor. AI tools may support research, structure, or editing — but the ideas, the perspective, and the

story are always the author's own.

All content is reviewed against Brand Runway's editorial standards before publication. Generic, derivative, or

AI-generated copy that displaces rather than supports human thinking does not meet our standard and is not

published.

We believe transparency serves everyone — readers, contributors, and the integrity of the work itself.

The standard is simple: if it doesn't sound like a real person thinking out loud — it doesn't go in.

What AI may do in Brand Runway:

Supports research and fact-checking. Supports content structure and flow through the Runway Writing

Protocols — Brand Runway's proprietary framework for the rhythm and cadence that makes authoritative

writing readable, memorable, and impossible to skim.

Assists with discoverability optimisation through the Runway Narrative Code.

Supports editorial formatting and searchability architecture. Corrects grammatical and spelling errors.

What AI does not do in Brand Runway:

Generate the thinking, perspective, or personal experience of contributors. Replace human voice or lived

expertise. Pass editorial review without meeting Brand Runway's editorial standard — and my personal

criteria for what genuine human thinking looks and reads like.

Brand Runway uses AI as an editorial tool — for structure, discoverability, and organisation.

The thinking, expertise, and voice in every article is always human.

A note on plagiarism:

Contributors to Brand Runway are required to run their work through plagiarism detection prior to

submission and to confirm that the content is their own original thinking.

Brand Runway reserves the right to decline or request revision of any content that does not meet our

originality standards.

As publisher, I apply these standards rigorously — but I cannot guarantee what contributors do outside of our

editorial process. What I can guarantee is that work which does not pass my editorial test does not go in.

From Issue 8, Brand Runway will invite contributors to include a brief declaration of any AI tools used in the

creation of their work, as part of our ongoing commitment to editorial transparency.
