Visconti’s Ristorante

2700 East Bidwell St., Ste. 700 | Folsom

916-983-5181 | viscontisristorante.com

Our story began in 1992, when Carmelo and

Angelina Visconti, along with their children—

Frank, Josie, Cathy, and Tista—opened the original

Visconti’s location on Bidwell Street in Folsom.

We are a family-owned and run, full-service

restaurant dedicated to making every guest feel

at home. Our recipes have been passed down

through generations from our family in Southern

Italy, specifically the regions of Calabria and Sicily.

We proudly use only the freshest ingredients,

including imported meats, cheeses, and wines.

When you dine with us, you're welcomed like

family—surrounded by savory flavors, a warm

atmosphere, and the timeless charm of traditional

Italian life. Our rich heritage is at the heart of

everything we do, and that pride is reflected in

every dish we serve. Our restaurant is the perfect

place for your special occasions, and we also offer

a wonderful catering menu.

For over 34 years, Visconti’s has been honored

to serve the Folsom community and support

numerous local organizations each year. We know

our success is due to the incredible customers who

walk through our doors every day. From our family

to yours—GRAZIE!

For 63 years, the Snooks family has been

making candy the old-fashioned way.

Founded in 1963, this family-owned

chocolate factory continues to use

traditional techniques and handcrafted

recipes passed down through generations.

Their commitment to quality, craftsmanship,

and family tradition is what makes Snooks

Chocolates a beloved local favorite.

I have been a barber for 59 years and have no plans to

retire anytime soon. I have enjoyed being involved

in my community through my work with the Lions

Club, Rotary Club of Historic Folsom, Folsom Hometown

Parade, Historic District Events and Folsom Lake

Symphony Gala. This wonderful Folsom community

and all my customers have become family to me.

With a lifelong passion for fashion and

helping women feel beautiful, I took

a leap of faith and changed my career

after welcoming my two miracle babies.

Becoming a mom inspired me to follow my

heart and return to work with purpose—

creating a space where women feel

confident, stylish, and truly seen.

Who is Dr. Sue?

I have had love, respect, and a fascination for

animals and nature all my life. Pets have been

an important addition to my family. We had

cats, dogs, and tortoises growing up in the

suburbs. Later, when I moved to the country,

I added horses to my life. When I attended

veterinary school at Western University of

Health Sciences in southern California, my

most constant and faithful roommates were

my cats Jazmine and Blanco and, later, Jasper.

They were always there to help me read or

study for an exam. They always “listened”

when I would explain to them in detail how

their organs functioned! It is never easy to say

goodbye to an animal friend. Knowing this from

personal experience, I wish to provide comfort

for pets and peace for their families when it is

time to say good-bye. Watching and observing

and being with nature and animals provides

peace and comfort to me. In my free time, I like

to hike and photograph nature.
