The Art of the
Perfect Blonde
Blonde Made Better is Goldwell’s boldest statement on the art and
science of lightening. Built around the LightDimensions portfolio,
it’s a celebration of everything great blonde can be — powerful lift,
exceptional condition, zero compromise. Three technologies drive
the difference: radical scavengers including sugar and caffeine
control free radicals for a stronger, targeted lift; Bond Protector
strengthens the hair fiber while defending against damage; and a
vegan silk complex delivers conditioning with incredible shine.
“With LightDimensions, we can create bold transformations with
real confidence in the condition and finish.”
Goldwell’s LightDimensions
empowers stylists to push
the limits of blonde — without
pushing the hair too far.

LE LIEN ENTRE LE VÊTEMENT ET LE CORPS : L’ART DU COSTUME AU MET.
ARTE DEL VESTUARIO: LA CONEXIÓN ENTRE LA ROPA Y EL CUERPO EN EL MET.

Costume Art examines the centrality of the dressed body,
juxtaposing garments and works of art from across the The New
York Metropolitan Museum of Art’s vast collection. The
exhibition creates pairings that not only illuminate the indivisible
connection between clothing and the body, but also the complex
interplay between artistic representations of the body and fashion
as an embodied artform. The show will inaugurate the Museum’s
nearly 12,000-square-foot Condé M. Nast Galleries, named in
recognition of the organization’s late founder.

encarnada. Además, inaugurará las nuevas Condé M. Nast

GAUDÍ
BARCELONA CELEBRATES THE CENTENARY OF ITS BEST-KNOWN ARCHITECT.
LE CENTENAIRE DE L’ARCHITECTE LE PLUS CÉLÈBRE DE BARCELONE.
BARCELONA CELEBRA EL CENTENARIO DE SU ARQUITECTO MÁS UNIVERSAL.
To commemorate the centenary of Antoni Gaudí’s death, the
Pelsynera hair salon in Arenys de Mar (Barcelona) reinterpreted
his creative genius through hair. Inspired by the celebrated
trencadís, the iconic fragmented mosaic technique found in
works such as the Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera, the collection
translates the chromatic richness, organic forms and innovative
spirit of the modernist master into the language of hairdressing.
This outstanding work was created especially for Estetica
Magazine and photographed by Esteban Roca.

DANNY PATO: WHERE FASHION, SCULPTURE AND IMAGINATION COLLIDE.
MODE, SCULPTURE ET IMAGINATION ... L’UNIVERS DE DANNY PATO.
DANNY PATO: DONDE CONFLUYEN MODA, ESCULTURA E IMAGINACIÓN.
Danny Pato’s new collection is a visionary journey through
myth, nature and creativity. Captured by long-term collaborator
Mara Sommer, it reimagines the Garden of Eden suspended
between beauty and menace — where lush blooms coexist with
the serpent’s presence. Hairstyles draw from black peonies,
poisonous mushrooms and spider chrysanthemums, while
Pato’s original garments marry rigour and theatricality.
A meditation on fragility: in the most perfect places, something
always awaits to change the destiny of things.
In 2026 Danny Pato
won the title of New Zealand
Hairdresser of the Year
for the 9th consecutive year.

Emi Kusano understood something before most, that the future
would be pastel. Born in Japan in 1990, she works with AI,
photography and pop memory, polishing the kawaii imaginary
into a slightly unstable mirror: candy pink, lilac and synthetic
blues grace from a digital interface. Gloss dreams: desires and
images dreamed by an algorithm, the K-style repertoire - magical
girl, shojo, anime, quietly recirculated. Ornament Survival at √K
Contemporary, Tokyo, confirms it. She works not on memory,
but on how the image never quite consolidates.

OMC:
8 DECADES
OF
EXCELLENCE
Few organisations share Estetica’s
founding year. OMC - Organisation
Mondiale Coiffure - was established in
1946, the same year this magazine
published its first issue, and the same
year Europe was rebuilding from the ruins
of war. Both were born from the same
conviction: that beauty, craft and
professional pride had a vital role to play
in restoring dignity to a world in recovery.
Eight decades on, OMC Hairworld
stands as the undisputed Olympics of
hairdressing - a global competition
platform spanning 31 individual tests, six

and its greatest chapter is still being written.
competitors from every continent.
In October 2026, Paris hosts the 80th
anniversary World Cup. Ahead of that
landmark event, we spoke with Salvatore
Fodera, OMC Chairman and architect
of the organisation’s modern era.
Both OMC and Estetica launched
in 1946. What was it about that
post-war moment that created such
fertile ground?
E08
A defining chapter in OMC history began when Salvatore
Fodera became President of OAI in 1998 at the World
Congress in Seoul, Korea. His visionary leadership saw the
transformation of traditional hairdressing competitions into
a comprehensive international beauty institution.
1946/47

by 1st World

2000

officially unified
into one united
organization: OMC.
2004
Salvatore Fodera is
elected as President
of OMC World.
2008
OMC HAIRWORLD
established to direct all
commercial activities.
“1946 was a year of rebuilding - but
also of hope, beauty, and renewed
identity. People were searching not only
for reconstruction, but for dignity and
elegance. Hairdressing became part
of that renewal. For OMC, this moment
created a need for unity among
hairdressers across nations. For
Estetica, a need to communicate,
document, and inspire the profession.
Both were born from the same belief:
hairdressing is not only a service, but
an art, a culture, and a profession
deserving international recognition.”
How has the competition format
evolved since 1946, and what has
remained essential?
“The format has evolved greatly
because the industry has evolved.
Early competitions focused on classic
technical discipline, precision,
and national representation.
Today, OMC Hairworld includes ladies,
gents, barbering, color, bridal, avantgarde,
makeup, nails, aesthetics,
juniors, and online photographic
submissions. What has never changed
is the essence: discipline, fairness,
excellence, and the pride of
representing one’s country. It is not only
about winning a medal - it is about
respect for the craft, the jury, and the
courage to perform on the world stage.”
The 80th anniversary World Cup
takes place in Paris this October.
What makes this milestone special?
“Paris is the perfect stage - it represents
fashion, beauty, culture, and elegance.
This event honors the generations of
artists, trainers, jurors, and leaders who
built OMC into the world platform it
is today, while opening the door to the
next generation. The past and future
will meet in Paris, combining classic
discipline with new creativity, national
pride with global friendship.”
What can live competition offer that
digital platforms simply cannot
replicate?
“Digital platforms are powerful, but live
competition reveals the true artist.
Online, we often see only the final
image. On the competition floor, we see
preparation, pressure, timing, discipline,
and technical control under international
standards. That cannot be filtered or
edited - it must be achieved in real time.
Social media can show beauty. OMC
live competition proves mastery.”
What shifts in competitive
hairdressing have surprised you
most, and what has proven
timeless?
“What has surprised me most is the
speed of creativity. Today’s competitors
are influenced by fashion, architecture,
photography, cinema, and social media.
Color has become more sophisticated,
barbering more artistic, the total
image more important. But the timeless
elements remain: balance, proportion,
harmony, technical precision, and
beauty. A winning style may be modern,
but it must respect the head shape,
the silhouette, and the rules. Discipline
is what transforms creativity into
championship work.”
What message would you send to
the next generation as OMC moves
beyond its 80th year?
“Believe in your talent, but respect the
discipline required to become a
champion. Do not compete only for a
medal - compete to become better, to
represent your country with honor, and
to discover what you are capable of. As
we move beyond our 80th year, I hope
OMC continues to protect the integrity
of the profession while inspiring new
generations to dream bigger. The future
belongs to artists who combine
creativity with discipline, tradition with
innovation, and ambition with respect.”

80 YEARS...
AND THE
BEST
IS YET TO
COME
Framesi has celebrated 80 years in
business. A remarkable milestone
- where did the story begin?
“I prefer to start in the present: we have
just won the Best Hair Product award at
the Cosmoprof Awards 2026, with
Morphosis Restructure Hair Leave-In
Molecular Booster - the only European
product shortlisted in its category - the
perfect way to mark this anniversary.
The company was founded in Milan in
1945, during a period of economic and
social reconstruction in Italy. My father,
Roberto Franchina, established it
alongside two partners, and the name
Framesi continues its journey of sustained growth in
pursuit of excellence - a future focused forward, yet firmly
rooted in the past. An interview with Fabio Franchina.
Framesi was formed from the initials of
their surnames. After the war, Italy was
ready to dream again and to feel good
about itself. Left to run things alone,
my father had the courage and the
vision to focus on simple but muchneeded
products: first talcum powder,
then brilliantine and fragrances.
Practical solutions, perfectly in tune with
the everyday needs of that particular
moment in history.”

and business support
“The pioneering spirit of our origins
remains the driving force behind a
mission built on the research and
development of new products and
opportunities - exclusively for the
hairdressers of today and tomorrow.”
What values define the brand’s
DNA?
“From the very beginning, Framesi
developed a defining characteristic
that would shape its identity over time:
a deep connection with professional
hairdressers, listening to their needs
and directing research towards
sector-specific solutions. In the Fifties
and Sixties, my father made a
significant strategic decision, focusing
increasingly on hair products and
gradually stepping away from other
categories. It was during this period
that we began investing seriously in
color research, introducing the first
professional hair colors Made in Italy
and helping to drive real innovation
across the market. Another key
milestone came in the Seventies, with
the formation of Italian Style Framesi
and the introduction of a thenrevolutionary
concept: the Total Look.
Hair was no longer seen as an isolated
element, but as an integral part of a
person’s overall style, in constant
dialogue with fashion and international
trends. This approach marked a
genuine turning point, drawing the
world of hairstyling closer to fashion,
creativity and image, and elevating the
status of the hairdresser in the
process. Hair fashion became central,
and Framesi today runs an education
programme unmatched in the industry
for the number of events, projects and
technical staff involved. Framesi is not
simply a manufacturer - it is a genuine
partner to professionals, providing
education, ongoing development and
dedicated services.”
When did the international
expansion begin?
“We started looking at overseas
markets as far back as the Seventies,
particularly North America. That was
the starting point for a growth journey
that has taken us to where we are
today - present in 75 countries
worldwide.”.
How has the company managed to
respond to evolving consumer
needs without losing its own
identity?
“We have continued to evolve in step
with the changing demands of the
Italian market and beyond. From the
2000s onwards, consumer attention
shifted increasingly towards wellbeing,
ingredient quality and environmental
sustainability. The launch of targeted
ranges - such as Morphosis - aligned
with these values reflects our ongoing
commitment to innovation without ever
losing touch with our roots. At the
same time, we have integrated digital
tools and strengthened our investment
in scientific research. We produce 650
different products, 280 of which have
been launched in the last five years - a
figure that speaks powerfully to the
pace of our evolution. The Framesi
mission is a simple one: to work for the
success of hairdressers. We are a
prime example of an Italian company
that has grown on a truly global scale
while maintaining a strong family
identity. My sister Roberta and I lead
the business together, remaining
faithful to our original ethos and
demonstrating how innovation, client
focus and strategic consistency can
transform a small post-war enterprise
into a brand that is recognized and
respected around the world.”

THE ETERNAL
BLONDEGary Kelly
E12
One hundred years after her birth,
Marilyn Monroe remains the
most influential hair icon in history
- and her lessons for the modern
salon are as relevant as ever.was at
the heart of it!
She was born Norma
Jeane Mortenson on June
1, 1926, in Los Angeles.
By the time the world
knew her as Marilyn
Monroe, she had created
an aesthetic identity so
powerful that a century
later, hairdressers,
photographers, stylists
and creative directors
still reach for her as the
ultimate reference point.
In 2026 - the centenary of
her birth - her influence
feels not historical but
immediate, as relevant to
the modern salon as it
was to the soundstages
and photo studios of
1950s Hollywood.
The Technical Achievement
Her platinum blonde was never simply a color. It was a
technical statement - a work of precision that required
exceptional control of the lightening process, meticulous
toning and careful, consistent maintenance. The result
was smooth, sculpted and luminous: blonde that was
simultaneously bold and beautiful, impactful yet warm,
and feminine rather than severe. That particular balance is
precisely what keeps her relevant. Stylists still reach for
her as a reference when clients ask for platinum that feels
glamorous without harshness, iconic without being imitative.
She defined what blonde could mean, and the definition has
endured for seven decades without meaningful revision.
Hair as Storytelling
The silhouette was equally deliberate. Short at the sides,
with controlled volume on top and a luminous finish that
caught the light at every angle, her hair framed her face with
the same intentionality a costume designer brings to a
gown. Her hairdresser it the later years of her life, Kenneth
Battelle, was the legendary New York stylist who worked
with her from 1958 until her death. He instinctively
understood the significance of her silhouette and it was he
who persuaded Monroe to allow him to straighten her
natural curls, explaining his thinking in a way that remains
a masterclass in hair philosophy: “When you have a blob of
curly platinum hair, that’s all you can see. You don’t see
the beautiful face.” It was hairdressing in service of the
person, not the other way around.
A Language Still Being Spoken
Her legacy extends beyond the technical. Marilyn understood
the power of a consistent image decades before personal
branding existed as a concept. The platinum, the red lip,
the softly waved lengths - every element worked together
as a unified visual language that was immediately, globally
recognizable. That language is still being spoken in salons,
on red carpets and in beauty editorials across the world.
Pearlescent blondes, satin finishes, sculpted waves:
the aesthetic she created resurfaces in every generation
because it speaks to something permanent in the
relationship between beauty, confidence and identity.

Soft Light & Shadow
“I love this image because it captures strength and softness
in the same moment. The blonde feels almost weightless,
yet the shape is architectural and controlled, which makes
the image powerful beyond just hair. As a hair colourist, I’m
drawn to creating colour that feels lived-in, minimalistic and
emotionally connected. This image reflects my approach to
blonde work. It shows my love for creating colour that becomes
part of the story. The inspiration came from exploring
the space between softness and structure, where raw texture
meets refined form. I wanted the hair to move, be fluid, yet
sculptural and unforced. The blonde itself was inspired by
soft light and shadow, with warmth diffused through the hair,
creating an intimate feeling.” Domenico Sansone
Authentic Aura
“This beautiful interpretation of Extreme Blonde is from
Denman Professional’s Aura Collection. It is an expression of
unique style that defines a mood, a moment or a personality.
It subtly communicates individual qualities that speak volumes.
As a heritage brand Denman has grown alongside the
creative professionals it serves to match quality tools to every
diverse need and the Aura Collection reflects that journey
perfectly.” Josh Woodman
Clean & Vibrant
“This image is part of our Art Team Mira Collection, combining
precision cutting, clean structure, and thoughtfully placed
colour to enhance the shape rather than compete with it.
I love creating bold colour looks, and this pairing of a clean
blonde with vibrant neon panels shows blondes can be both
commercial and edgy.” Suzie McGill

Textured Structure
“I love this image for its simplicity, although it was one of the
most challenging looks to create in my winning collection,
‘The Bamboo Cutter’s Tale’. It was inspired by the texture and
structure of bamboo and the story’s themes of concealment
and discovery. I loved the model’s personality, and as a blonde
specialist, enjoyed giving a global bleach a grungier edge with
root smudging and luminous golden shine bands.”
David Cassidy
Wearable Art
“I feel this image because it captures the power and beauty of
blonde hair unexpectedly. The shape suddenly becomes almost
architectural, yet it still feels soft and luxurious. It challenges
the traditional perception of blonde hair and turns it into a
statement piece. As a hair colourist, I am passionate about creating
blonde hair that has depth, dimension, and impact while
remaining clean. This image showcases the precision required
to achieve a flawless blonde while allowing the colour to become
part of the overall artistic vision. It reflects my belief that
hair colour should enhance creativity, not simply follow trends.
The inspiration came from the idea of transforming blonde hair
into wearable art.” Michelle Summers Davies
Buttery Sunlight
“As a blonde specialist, I’m constantly inspired by the way
natural sunlight creates softness, brightness, and dimension
in the hair. This Butter Blonde was designed to capture that
feeling - luminous, effortless, and beautifully lived-in. I love
creating blondes that feel expensive without looking overdone,
and this look reflects my philosophy that great colour should
enhance the individual, remain healthy and wearable, and
grow out as beautifully as it looks on day one.”
Krysten Ashley Garrod
Strength & Confidence
“This image sums up what I love about hairdressing. The clean
blonde and sharp cut show the technical side of my work,
while still feeling creative and modern. I wanted to show how
far blonde hair can be pushed with the right skills and attention
to detail. The look has strength and confidence, but still
feels soft, feminine and beautiful.” Emma Simmons

Today’s professional color market

Professional hair color has never stood still.
From the earliest permanent tints to today’s
bond-building formulas and translucent
glosses, the story of color technology is
one of constant reinvention - driven by the
relentless demands of salon professionals
and the evolving expectations of their clients.
In today’s American salons, color is no longer
defined by a single approach or a single
philosophy. It is a rich spectrum of distinct
disciplines, each rooted in its own set of
values: precision, naturality, heritage,
and luxury. Some brands have come to define
that spectrum in the professional market -
and each has done so by committing
deeply to a technology that is entirely,
unapologetically its own.

The Conviction Behind the Color
What sets somebrands apart is not simply the quality of their formulas, but the
clarity of their convictions. Each has identified a distinct philosophy - whether
rooted in scientific heritage, natural ingredients, technological pioneering, or the
art of understated luxury - and has built its product ecosystem around it. For
salon professionals navigating an increasingly crowded color market, that kind of
commitment is invaluable. It transforms a product choice into a partnership, and a

HOW WELLA
SUPPORTS
PROS
Supporting
stylists through
education,
innovation, and
community.
We recently sat down with Guillaume
Cantelou, SVP PRO Hair; Luiza Cavalcanti,
Senior Director Marketing; and Nathan
MacKenzie, Head of Marketing for Wella
Professionals, to explore how Wella
Professionals continues to support salon
professionals through relationships,
inspiration, science, and education.
What sparked Wella Professionals‘
continued focus on supporting stylists,
and where did that journey begin?
GC: It began with a simple focus on
listening to stylists and clearly articulating
how Wella Professionals supports them.
Wella Professionals has a 140+ year
legacy of innovation, creativity, and
commitment to stylists, but we wanted to
clearly articulate who we are, what we
stand for, and the value we bring. Nathan
helped lead that work, partnering with our
global team to refine our purpose and
value proposition—RISE (Relationships,
Inspiration, Science, and Education). It
honors our heritage while giving us a clear
framework for how we support salon
professionals today. We want stylists to
feel supported by Wella Professionals at
every stage of their craft and business.
What role does RISE play in defining
Wella Professionals’ work with stylists?
NM: RISE reconnects us to our roots and
helps organize our education, product,
and community initiatives for salon
professionals. Whether we’re delivering
new products, advanced education, or
creating moments of connection like
House of Wella, the goal is always the
same: support pros with tools, education,
and experiences that are useful in their
day-to-day work.
You mentioned creating moments of
connection like House of Wella.

Photographed at Wella Professionals’ first US House of Wella event in
New York City on October 20, 2025. The evening brought together pros,
press, and Passionistas for a night of connection and inspiration.
What’s driving this shift toward more
in-person events?
LC: Over the past few years, so much of
our industry shifted online—and while
digital education is here to stay, we saw a
real hunger for in person connection.
Stylists wanted to be together again, to
learn, to feel inspired, to experience the
brand up close. That need aligns with
RISE, especially the focus on relationships
and community, which have always been
at the heart of this industry. Whether it’s
our own experiences like House of Wella,
major industry moments like Behind the
Chair, or immersive launches like The
Color Vault for Ultimate Color, the goal is
the same: create spaces where stylists
can connect, get inspired, and experience
Wella Professionals. Nathan has been
instrumental in shaping this work. Leading
these events, he has helped us design
high-quality experiences that bring Wella
Professionals closer to the stylist
community in a meaningful way.
Science is a core pillar of RISE.
How is Wella Professionals using
science-led innovation in haircare
and color today?
LC: Innovation through science-led
product development has always been
one of our greatest strengths. We
continue to develop a broad portfolio of
patents across color and care.
NM: You see that commitment in our
latest product innovations. Metal Purifier
Technology, now integrated across all
Wella color lines, is designed to help
address the effects of metals in water
and support more reliable color results.
Our Ultimate haircare franchise continues
to evolve. Ultimate Repair is part of our
luxury repair portfolio and now Ultimate
Color brings that same approach to caring
for colored hair. And SmoothFiller, our
salon exclusive demi permanent smoothing
treatment, lasts up to three months
and can be added to any color service. It
helps stylists expand their menu and
offer clients an additional smoothing
option during salon visits. It’s innovation
designed to support salon professionals
and their clients.
Education has always been a
cornerstone of Wella Professionals.
How are you evolving your education
approach to support stylists at
every stage?
GC: Education is one of the most
powerful ways we support stylists.
Meeting pros where they are—online, in
salon, in our Wella Studios, or in our new
Regional Creative Academies—helps
make professional education available in
formats that fit different learning needs
and schedules.
LC: Some want quick digital content;
others want immersive, hands on training.
We’re committed to offering both.
NM: And what’s exciting is how these
formats work together. A stylist might
start online, then come into a studio for
certification, and later have a Wella
educator coach their team in salon.
Across every touchpoint, the focus is the
same: elevate their craft, strengthen their
business, and build community.
GC: Exactly. Education remains a core
part of how Wella Professionals supports
stylists. Wherever a stylist is in their
career, Wella Professionals will be right
there with them, helping them rise.

event and left the professional
community in absolutely no doubt
that the show’s most compelling

From the very first moment, the

Throughout the weekend, that spirit translated into
something far larger: thousands of beauty professionals
describing the experience as transformative, recharging,
and career-changing. On social media, the
accolade that resonated most widely was “the
Coachella of the beauty industry” - a comparison that
speaks volumes about the energy, scale and cultural
significance of what ABS has become over more than
a century of dedicated service to the profession.
“America’s Beauty Show continues to reflect the
strength, creativity, and heart of the professional beauty
community,” said Frank P. Fulco, CEO of America’s
Beauty Show. “This year’s record attendance and extraordinary
energy made one thing clear: beauty
professionals want more than a trade show. They want
meaningful education, real connection, and a community
where they feel seen, supported, and inspired.”
EDUCATION AT THE CORE
The educational offering was formidable. ABS 2026
featured more than 485 classes, 200-plus CEUs - most
included free with an ABS ticket - and programming
that spanned haircare, barbering, nails, esthetics,
makeup, brows, business, health, and wellness. A
stellar artist lineup brought the education stages to
life, with industry voices including Tabatha Coffey, Nick
Stenson, Chrystofer Benson, Tracey Hughes, James
Vincent, Kelly Baker, Candy Shaw, and many more. A
standout new initiative was the launch of She Leads
Network - a 100-seat, invitation-only leadership and
mentorship experience designed for women, by
women, welcoming female executives, educators,
and rising professionals alike.
THE SHOW FLOOR AND BEYOND
On the show floor, 350-plus exhibitors showcased the
full breadth of the professional beauty market, with
standout moments including AVEDA’s long-awaited
return to ABS after more than a decade and a notably
strong international exhibitor presence. Korean Beauty
drew exceptional interest throughout the weekend.
Evening events provided a glamorous backdrop: the
Cosmetologists Chicago President’s Party and the
prestigious Global Image Awards celebrated artistry
from around the world, while Sunday’s L.I.V.E. 312 at
Joe’s Live drew more than 1,000 attendees for a
fittingly memorable close.
“Attendees left feeling recharged, encouraged, and
connected,” said Megan Goggin, VP of Marketing.

Premiere Orlando
2026 broke records,
filled rooms and
reminded the entire
industry why education
is everything.
Premiere Orlando 2026 delivered
its most successful edition yet, welcoming
over 54,000 visits from
beauty professionals and students
- a 5% increase over 2025 in total
attendance - and firmly cementing
its status as the professional beauty
industry’s leading education event.
Held across a packed weekend at
the Orange County Convention
Center, the show brought together
the industry’s top brands, educators
and working professionals for an experience
that was as much about
community and connection as it
was about craft, technique and the
relentless pursuit of what comes
next in professional beauty.
EDUCATION FIRST
The appetite for education set the
tone from the very outset. Nearly
half of all attendees arrived on Saturday
- the education-only day before
the exhibit floor opened - a telling
statistic that speaks directly to why
Premiere Orlando has evolved into
the essential annual fixture it has undoubtedly
become. In total, 939 educational
classes, hands-on workshops
and stage presentations
were offered across hair, barbering,
spa and wellness, nails and business
development, with most included
free with a show pass.
“What makes Premiere Orlando
unique is not just the volume of education,
but the quality, diversity,
A turnout of over 54,000
visits from hair & beauty
professionals and students
represents a 5% increase in
footfall compared to 2025.

and accessibility of it,” said Debra
Cleveland DeMello, Associate Director,
Key Accounts and Industry
Relations. “With hundreds of classes
spanning every corner of the
beauty industry, we’ve built an education
platform that simply doesn’t
exist anywhere else.”
STANDOUT SESSIONS
Demand was intense throughout,
with rooms filling to capacity across
the weekend. Standout sessions for
hair professionals included House of
Foils, Patricia Nikole’s Bold & Dimensional
Blonding, Presley Poe’s Intro
to Curly Styling, Matty Conrad’s Beyond
the Fade and the Color Salon -
a programme that underscores the
extraordinary breadth and depth of
technical education on offer. Bumble
and bumble, making their Premiere
Orlando debut, were among those
who left genuinely impressed. “The
energy, engagement, and enthusiasm
reinforced what we’ve always
believed - that hairstylists are hungry
for authentic education and
brands that truly invest in their craft,”
said Sheri Doss, VP Global Education,
Bumble and bumble.
ON THE SHOW FLOOR
The show floor brought together an
exceptional brand lineup, with Salon-
Centric partners including Redken,
Matrix, Dyson, Pravana, Kevin Murphy,
Bumble and bumble and IGK
among the highlights. The Spa and
Wellness sector expanded by 7%,
reflecting the growing breadth of a
show that now confidently spans
the full professional beauty landscape,
while competition stages
across barbering, nails and creative
categories drew enthusiastic, vocal
crowds throughout the weekend.
MAIN STAGE MOMENTS
On the Main Stage, Jessi Draper -
star of The Secret Lives of Mormon
Wives - appeared alongside her
mother Diana and sister Kiera to
share the story behind their beauty
brand JZ Styles, drawing standing-room-only
crowds and delivering
a compelling masterclass in modern
entrepreneurship and brand building.
Further Main Stage presentations
from Redken, QOAT,
DESIGNME and others kept energy
and inspiration running exceptionally
high from start to finish.
Up next for Premiere Shows is
the San Antonio show, presented
by SalonCentric, August 30 - 31.

PARIS HILTON
The original blonde bombshell
goes molten brunette
Paris Hilton made headlines when she
stepped onto the Gucci runway
with glossy dark brown
lengths and a one-sided
fringe - a dramatic departure
from her trademark
platinum blonde. The trend,
dubbed ‘molten brunette,’
combines chocolate, amber and mocha
tones with baby lights for a multi-dimensional,
very expensive-looking finish.
COMPRESSED STYLING
Anna Peters shares the
time-saving technique every
stylist needs
Sam Villa ArTeam
member Anna Peters
shares a time-saving
technique that every
busy stylist needs:
compressed styling.
Using larger sections,
tension, heat and compression, it creates
beautiful texture and finish in a fraction of
the usual time - perfect for showcasing cut
and color when the appointment is running
tight. The technique involves curling large
vertical sections with a Sam Villa Marcel
Iron and Wand, then pressing with cold flat
iron plates to set the wave, before breaking
up the pattern with a paddle brush.
