fibre, which is pre-impregnated and ultra-light for high-tensile strength and 

temperature resistance.

exhaust systems are EC* homologated for 

street use across the whole of Europe. 

Non-street-legal exhaust systems: these 

exhaust systems are not EC* homologated and 

are intended for closed circuit use only. Please 

note that these exhaust systems are not covered 

by Yamaha’s warranty terms and conditions. 

Racing full system: headers and link pipe 

are made of stainless steel, with a choice 

of a titanium or carbon muffler. 

Evolution full system: headers and link 

pipe are made of titanium, with a choice 

of a titanium or carbon muffler. 

Non-genuine Yamaha accessory: all 

exhaust systems in this catalogue are non- 

Yamaha branded products and are fully 

developed and produced by Akrapovič. 

Spare parts: for each exhaust system spare 

parts are available. You can contact your official 

Yamaha dealer for a full list of these spare parts. 

7. Advanced Technology Akrapovič is a pioneer in developing and using 

technology to bring real benefits to the end user. Technology and its applications 

are developed in-house. Hydroforming is one such process, where header tubes 

are moulded by applying pressurised water. The material forms the ideal shape for 

optimum exhaust flow, with no loss in strength. Also, Akrapovič is recognised as a 

pioneer in the plastic deformation of titanium alloys and in precision welding. 

8. State-of-the-art Factory All Akrapovič facilities are state-of-the-art, 

where quality control is maintained by designing and manufacturing all exhaust 

systems in-house. This enables the creation of exhaust tubes to Akrapovič’s 

own demanding specifications for maximum performance and quality. In-house 

laboratories ensure that the most exacting standards for type approval and 

certification are met.
