As an innovative manufacturer of wheelchairs, handbikes, traction equipment and steering attachments,
we have been driven by improving our customer's mobility and quality of life since the very start in 1992.
We are constantly working to provide maximum customisation for our customers from modifications via
development to manufacturing. The values of an owner and family-run company are the pillars behind
our experience over the past 20 years: responsibility – quality – individuality – innovations – service.
Over 70 »proactive« employees now work for you at PRO ACTIV and in this anniversary year we will

It can be equipped with single-hand operation. The wheelbase extension, which can be removed
with one handle, is ideal for riding on adaptive bikes
or traction devices.
The sPEEDY 4all active rigid-frame wheelchair
is a wheelchair designed for anything life can
throw at you. It combines technical and sporty
looks with sophisticated functional elements and
adjustment options.
As the frame geometry has been minimised,
wheelchair users can load this wheelchair by
themselves. Its integrated centre of gravity and
seat height adjustment in 1 cm steps make this
wheelchair the perfect choice for primary care.
The sPEEDY 4all can be combined with all
PRO ACTIV adaptive bikes, traction and steering
accessories. The 7-way angle-adjustable backrest
is ideal for this use as this option enables
the ideal ergonomic back adjustment in all
adaptation situations.

can be adjusted to suit the user's needs.

The small packaged size ensures simple transport. »Aluminium clothing guard«: The foam-covered side
piece insulates and ensures good protection against
the cold. The aluminium clothing guard can be
modified perfectly to the wheel operation.
The sPEEDY 4you active rigid-frame wheelchair
combines the sPEEDY 4all model with its adjustable
wheel position and the sPEEDY F2 model with its
individual frame design options.
There are 13 optional frame parameters. In addition
to the basic selectable parameters such as seat
width, front and rear seat height, back height and
centre of gravity, other frame parameters such as
front frame angle, frame retraction, overall frame
length, upper and lower width of front frame
are adjusted to suit the user. The frame is then
manufactured individually.

swung away to enable the wheelchair user to move
forward.
Thanks to its frame structure which is designed for
extreme loads, the simple setting options for seat
height and centre of gravity, the sPEEDY A1 and A2
models offer maximum mobility in daily life.
The framework geometry of the speedy A2 has been
designed for the use of stair climbing devices from a
seating width of 36 cm or above.
SpeeDY A1
This robust wheelchair ensures a high level of
individuality as a result of its flexible measurement
design and a variety of adjustment options such
as seating height, seat slope and tipping point. Its
generous frame geometry allows the sPEEDY A1 to
be used for extreme loads, i.e. for persons with a
weight of 200 kg and more, or for the attachment

of drives. Moreover, individual frame dimensions
can be easily implemented for tall people (2 m
and above). For users with hemiplegia or plexus
problems, a highly manoeuvrable single-hand drive
can be mounted up to a camber of 12°.
SpeeDY A2
The frame structure of the speedy A2 is specifically
designed to suit the attachment of stair climbers
such as the scala mobil model (ulrich Alber Gmbh)
and the s-MAX (AAT Alber Antriebstechnik Gmbh).
Attachment is possible for seating widths 36 cm
and above without having a significant influence on
the driving characteristics and total weight of the
wheelchair.

The sPEEDY F2 is our individualist! The complete
frame is manufactured as per individual dimensions
and requests. There are fourteen optional frame

SpeeDY f2 overlite
The complete seat unit is bent from one aluminium
tube based on individual dimensions. This leads
to enormous weight savings. There is no play in
the rigid seating and back unit so the wheelchair
responds to even the smallest movement.

Transport in a car boot is problem-free by simply
taking the wheelchair apart into its modules
without using tools.
The lIFT is a revolution in both professional and
everyday life: A continuous seat height adjustment
instantly opens up new action areas. Flexible
options in the most varied of professions and the
possibility of using conventional furniture and
kitchen furnishings make the lIFT an indispensable
support tool. During the day, in the office, you can
always get to the folders on the top shelf, and
at night the lIFT helps you to enjoy a drink at
lIFT manual: With only a little muscle power,
the seat is lifted upwards by up to 30 cm. In this
position you are eye to eye with a standing person
who is about 1.75 cm tall.

Single-hand operation
To move the wheelchair with only one
arm due to a disability, the TRAVElER,
sPEEDY A1, sPEEDY 4all, sPEEDY
4you, sPEEDY 4teen and buDDY can
be equipped with a single-hand
drive with double handrims. A
cardan shaft connects the small
inner handrim with the opposite wheel. To go
straight, both handrims are pushed together. You
turn on the spot by alternately turning a handrim
first clockwise then anti-clockwise.

a drive wheel camber of up to 12°. Can be used

The drive wheels can be removed using a floating
