Easy to install,<br />
easy to service<br />
F For semi permanent installations,<br />
the pump<br />
rests free-standing on a<br />
flat and even floor. The<br />
discharge can be connected<br />
to either a pipe or<br />
hose. If connected to a<br />
pipe, the pump is lifted<br />
together with the first<br />
section of the pipe.<br />
S In what we call the ”S”<br />
installation, getting the<br />
pump into place could<br />
not be simpler: mounted<br />
on its own stand and<br />
with a flexible hose attached<br />
to the discharge,<br />
the pump is simply lowered<br />
into place and the<br />
power turned on.<br />
The outlet can also be<br />
connected to a pipe.<br />
For both F and S, a level<br />
regulator controls start<br />
and stop.<br />
H - for semi-permanent<br />

The P installation is recommended<br />
for sewage<br />
pumping. With its guide<br />
bars and automatic<br />
discharge connection,<br />
it is extremely easy to<br />
access the pump. Guided<br />
down into place by the<br />
bars the pump automatically<br />
connects to the<br />
discharge pipe. As the<br />
pump is lifted up, it automatically<br />
disconnects<br />
from the discharge.<br />

Rather than buying off-the-shelf<br />

The motor is dry rather than oil<br />
filled. This results in higher efficiency<br />
and easier maintenance, while eliminating<br />

The double mechanical<br />
face seals<br />

Cast iron shell<br />
The motor and pump housings are<br />
made from cast iron. This makes<br />
<strong>Flygt</strong> <strong>pumps</strong> sturdier and more<br />
resistant to corrosion than the<br />
<strong>pumps</strong> made from sheet metal.<br />
The trouble-free<br />
performance<br />
Due to the compact<br />
design of the pump,<br />
the shaft overhang is<br />
kept short: this virtually<br />
eliminates shaft deflection<br />
and vibrations,<br />
lead ing to a minimum<br />
of stress on the seals<br />
and bearings.<br />

strain-relief functions<br />
reduce the risk of<br />
leakage and cable<br />
damage from improper<br />
handling.<br />
The oil chamber is filled with an environmental white<br />
oil that is free from aromatic hydrocarbons and is<br />
approved by the FDA for use in the food industry.
