it was when Darwin lived there. Throughout the house and grounds there is evidence
of the work that Darwin undertook during the 40 years he lived there. You can enjoy
the entire property at your own pace with a hand-held audio tour narrated by Andrew
Marr. The downstairs rooms give you a glimpse of Darwin‟s family and working life
London Duck Tour & Covent Garden
One of the most exciting attractions in London, this is much more than a sightseeing
troops ashore for the D-Day landings. Not only do you get a live, humorous guided tour
of central London by road, you also get a trip along the river. Nothing compares to the
thrill of literally driving from the road, straight into the Thames! The vehicles have been
totally rebuilt and are fully equipped to meet the stringent safety regulations.
After touring the City of Westminster, the DUKW enters the Thames near Vauxhall
Bridge and does a return trip to Westminster Bridge, giving excellent views of the
Houses of Parliament. On arrival in London, we visit Covent Garden for sightseeing
over the lunchtime period and following the 1 ½ hour Duck Tour there will be some
BOOKING FOR LONDON SHOWS
We have obtained tickets for the best seats available to us for all shows.
However, we can only hold tickets for a limited period as theatres are
always under pressure from the public for good seats for these shows.
Early booking is therefore essential to help ensure that visits to these
shows are viable to operate before having to release unsold tickets. It will
also allow you to enjoy the shows from some of the very best seats in the
theatres. It may still be possible to meet booking requests after the release
of unsold tickets, but there are no guarantees that the seats will be as good
as those in our original allocation.

Details of first name, surname and date of birth of each passenger are now
required before departure. Please provide this information when booking.
Each person travelling must have a valid passport.
EUROPEAN HEALTH INSURANCE AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that each person travelling to other EC
Countries obtains and carries the new European Health Insurance Card
(EHIC). The EHIC entitles you to reduced cost, and sometimes free, health
treatment under the same terms as people that live in the country you are
visiting. Application forms for the cards are obtainable from Post Offices.
The EHIC is not a substitute for travel insurance. Since it may not cover all
health costs and never covers repatriation costs in the event of illness or
injury, you are advised to have travel insurance cover in addition to the
EHIC. State-provided treatment in some EC Countries may not cover all
treatments that you would expect to receive free of charge from the N.H.S.
Your Travel Insurance should also cover the loss or theft of personal items
including items purchased during the excursion. Please ensure that you
obtain and keep all receipts for purchases made during your trip.
