What’s the Best Thing at Jamboree?
We’re taking a poll to see
what the best thing is to do
at Jamboree. Have you got
a favourite? Troop H06
say s that the Timomatic
performance was “so
amazing” and it’s the
best concert ever. But will
it be the best thing at
AJ2013? If you want to
submit your vote for the
best thing at Jamboree,
come and visit NSW HQ.
The winning vote will be
drawn on 10th January and
Camping. VW Style
There are so many dierent styles
of tents throughout the
Maryborough Showground at the
moment. But the most notable
must be that of Tony Dent, from
NSW Headquarters.
The 2 door, New York Blue, 0
cylinder Volkswagen Tent sleeps 4
comfortably. There is some wear on
the interior and the seats are
missing. We cannot locate the
steering column, nor the engine -
but do not let this discourage you it
still contains the same level of
comfort that we have come to
expect from a VW.
For sale: $6 Billion, or nearest oer
Reece V Timomatic:
Which one do you like
most?
The intrepid reporters from NSW
Media have been asking around
and it seems that the jury is still
out o n who was the better
performer - Reece Mastin or
Timomatic. One Scout from H01
said he didn’t like Reece but
went to the concert so he had
bragging rights over his sister.
Other H01 Scouts said the mosh
pit was a lot of fun, that Reece
was not as good li ve as on his
albums, and that Timomatic was
better.
Is it Everything you
Expected, Ally?
When asked what she expected
from Jamboree, Ally from Troop 19
said she knew it would be hot but
everything else was a bi t of a
mystery. Ally is lucky that her
Troop has a ‘Modo’ who is as good
a cook as her mum - not something
all Troops can say – which means
she’s doing OK in the food
department. That’s a bonus! In the
last day or so Ally has built a
wheelbarrow, played air hockey, and
has smashed up plates at Smash it!
All fun things to do but none of
them anywhere near
as good as when
Reece Mastin took o
his shirt. You’re not
alone, Ally; it seems
that every female
Scout thinks this will
be their Jamboree
highlight .
