principle place of business at 1790 East Airport<br />
Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773 warrants this Superchips<br />
Inc. product (“Product”) as follows:<br />
Superchips Inc. warrants that the Product sold<br />
hereunder will be free from defects in material and<br />
workmanship for the lifetime of the Product. If the<br />
Product does not conform to this Limited Warranty,<br />
the original purchaser (Buyer) shall notify Superchips<br />
Inc. in writing of the claimed defects and<br />
demonstrate to Superchips Inc.’s satisfaction that<br />
said defects are covered by the Limited Warranty.<br />
If the defects are properly reported to Superchips<br />
Inc., and the defects are of such type and nature as<br />
to be covered by this Limited Warranty, Superchips<br />
Inc. shall at its own expense furnish a replacement<br />

Return Policy<br />
If for any reason during the first 30 days after<br />
purchase you are dissatisfied with the quality of<br />
this product you may return it for a full refund of<br />
the purchase price (up to MSRP) less the shipping<br />
costs. You will be asked to provide a Proof of<br />
Purchase. Put the product back in its original<br />
packaging and return the product to the place of<br />

The beginning of Superchips takes us across the pond<br />
to England. In 1983, Superchips Inc. was founded as<br />
one of the first companies to specialize in tuning<br />
computer controlled EFI vehicles. In these early years,<br />
the company focused on serving the British performance<br />
community with high end tuning capabilities.<br />
This eventually lead State-side where EFI was just<br />
catching on in motorsports and the performance<br />
industry.<br />
Originally, Superchips<br />
produced the<br />
EPROM, commonly<br />
called chips. These<br />

chips would replace the<br />
EPROM in the factory’s<br />
Electronic Control Module. These chips would modify<br />
the fuel, spark and transmission settings while keeping<br />
the emissions and safety systems intact. As OEMs<br />
moved more controls into the ECM, and with the<br />
introduction of OBD-II, the days of EPROMs faded away<br />
as the ability to ‘flash’ the ECM to modify various<br />
engine and transmission parameters came to fruition.<br />
The bulk of Superchips products and business today<br />
are plug-in tuners. The Max MicroTuner and the new<br />
FLASHPAQ, are the easiest way to tune-in performance<br />
to your late model<br />

Though our improvements<br />
in power and<br />
torque, 12%-hp in gas vehicles,<br />
with up to 150-hp gains in turbo<br />
diesels, get most people’s attention,<br />
it’s the overall driveability benefits<br />
that our calibrators design into the<br />
programs that impress them the<br />
most. Less downshifting while<br />
pulling steep hills, improved<br />
midrange pull and quick throttle<br />
response are all benefits that arise<br />
from a Superchips tune. This can<br />
also lead to gains in fuel efficiency and all round<br />

improvements is how simple Superchips makes it to<br />
use! Anyone can install a Superchips, without even<br />
having to lift the hood of your vehicle. The tuner simply<br />

There is no easier way to improve your vehicle’s<br />

Why is it so easy? The Tuner plugs directly into<br />
the diagnostic port that is under the dash on most<br />
domestic cars and trucks. This connects the Tuner<br />
directly to the vehicle’s ECU where it removes the<br />
factory settings and information and installs<br />
Superchips’ dyno proven calibration. The factory<br />
setting is saved in the Tuner so you can easily<br />
return the vehicle to stock.<br />

Both the Max MicroTuner and the FLASHPAQ plug<br />
right into the diagnostic port of the vehicle. This is<br />
the same port that dealerships use to access the<br />
vehicle’s ECU and data.<br />
Once connected, the Tuner will lead you through a<br />
variety of questions about your application and the<br />
different performance options available. It will also<br />
download and save the factory calibration so it can be<br />
reinstalled if ever desired.<br />

Q: What is the difference between Peak and<br />
Max gains?<br />
A: Peak HP gains are measured at the rpm level<br />
where the OEM rated the stock engine’s highest<br />
horsepower. Max HP gains are measured at the<br />
rpm level with the greatest gain over stock.<br />
Simply put, Max is the most or widest range<br />
between stock and Superchips. Peak is the gain at<br />
the vehicle’s highest rating.<br />
Q: Is it easy to install?<br />
A: Extremely easy. Installation generally takes less<br />
than 10 minutes and requires no automotive<br />
knowledge or mechanical ability whatsoever. Also,<br />
the Superchips tune can easily be removed and the<br />
stock program will be put back in place.<br />
Q: Will it void my warranty?<br />
A: No. It is illegal for a dealership to void your<br />
warranty based solely on the fact that you have<br />
installed an aftermarket product. For information<br />
regarding denial of warranty coverage, go to the<br />
SEMA website at www.sema.org.<br />
Q: Will the Tuner damage my transmission?<br />
A: No, and in most cases, the operation of the<br />
transmission is improved.<br />
Q: Will a Superchips Tuner improve the fuel<br />
mileage?<br />
A: Our programs are designed around increased<br />
performance with improved driveability, and in<br />
many cases, the fuel economy does improve.<br />
Q: Can a Superchips override the factory speed<br />
limiter?<br />
A: In most cases this option is available. Please check<br />
our products page for your vehicle’s specific list of<br />
options.<br />
Q: Do you need to run higher octane fuel?<br />
A: While some Superchips products give you the<br />
choice of running 87 or 91-93 octane fuel, most<br />
vehicles will require the use of 91- 93 octane fuel<br />
to achieve the most increase in horsepower and<br />
torque.<br />
Q: Are all of the rpm points programmed?<br />
A: Yes, we tune at all throttle positions, from idle to<br />
wide open throttle.<br />
Q: Can I stack a Superchips program with<br />
another programmer or tuner?<br />
A: No, it is not recommended to mix or stack a<br />
Superchips calibration with another performance<br />
chip, module or programmer. Superchips will not<br />
warrant or be liable for any damage caused by the<br />
stacking of our Superchips product on top of<br />
another performance enhancing chip or programmer.<br />
Q: What type of warranty does Superchips<br />
carry?<br />
A: All of our products come with a 30-day money<br />

These custom files are written by our engineers and established Superchips<br />
Racing dealers and can be purchased through our website. If you<br />
don’t find your combination listed, locate a dealer with the tuning<br />
software and they will be able to write one for you! When used in<br />

IHRA Contingency<br />
Superchips is excited to be a contingency sponsor for several classes throughout IHRA National Events.<br />
Contingency awards are available to racers that have a tow vehicle that has been performance tuned<br />
with a Superchips Tuner. Racers in for Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Super Stock, Stock, Quick Rod,<br />
Super Rod, Hot Rod and ET simply have to supply a proof of purchase for the Tuner and run the official<br />
Superchips logo on their race car. Racers in the Summit Team Finals classes also collected contingency<br />
awards by running the Superchips decal. See the IHRA website for payout in these classes.<br />
