ABOUT NPCA<br />
The <strong>National</strong> <strong>Possum</strong> <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Agencies</strong> was established in the early 1990s to help co-ordinate possum<br />
control. In November 2001 a constitution was approved that reaffi rmed NPCA’s aims and objects and the<br />
importance <strong>of</strong> co-ordination in possum control and vertebrate pest control in general.<br />
OVERALL AIM<br />
To provide a co-ordinating forum that will contribute to the effectiveness <strong>of</strong> all the agencies involved with<br />
the possum and vertebrate pest problem in New Zealand and to assist agencies with:<br />
• protectin g the farming industry from the effects <strong>of</strong> bovine Tb, and<br />
• achievin g conservation benefi ts and positive environmental outcomes.<br />
