More than 400 guests gathered to raise funds and enjoy the sounds of the Fabulous Motown Revue on Friday, November 5th at the Crowne Plaza in Clayton. Co-chairs Jim Laurentius and Dan Wienstroer hosted the evening as guests enjoyed silent and live auctions, a sit down dinner and dancing and the winning Trip for Two to Hawaii raffle ticket was drawn. The CRSS Board of Directors presented the Heart and Cross Award to the William H. Erker Family. This award is given annually to an individual, organization or family which supports senior adults without resources. Bill Erker, patriarch of the family, passed away last year and his children were presented with the Heart and Cross Award. The Erker Family carries on their parents’ tradition of selflessness and working on behalf of those who may not have a voice with their continued support of CRSS as well as the Archdiocese of St. Louis and many other causes. Many thanks to all who generously sponsored, attended and donated auction items and their time and talents to make this event such a success. Save the Date for next year – Friday, November 4th, 2011!
