Wagonwork has been providing quality body repair service for selected European and Asian
automobiles since 1965. During our quarter century of operation, the firm has expanded to
a state-of-art body and refinishing operation which also provides mechanical service to its
Body Shop

customers. Equipment contained in the 10,000 square foot shop includes two down-draft paint booths which provide a totally
controlled painting environment and the ability to cure the new finish on your car at a temperature of 140 degrees.
Because of the highly toxic nature of today's paints and chemicals, all of Wagonwork's equipment and procedures meet
both Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and OSA requirements. A sophisticated paint mixing and matching unit, which
uses only the finest European paints and refinishing products, allows us to exactly match the paint on your car to manufacturers
specifications. Since automobile finishes in the Washington area are rapidly eroded by the effects of sun, heat, salt,
light industrial pollution, and acid rain, we give special attention to surface preparation, priming, and blending, so that the
newly repaired portion of your car does not clash with the remainder of its undamaged areas.
In addition to painting capabilities, Wagonwork has a full complement of equipment designed to return your car to its preaccident
state. Our system of precise laser and powerful hydraulic pulling equipment, are employed together to ease the
damaged metal back into shape and actually reverse the effect of a collision. Thus, your car can be returned to its original
specifications in every dimension within an accuracy variation of one millimeter, (1/25th of an inch) — closer than factory tolerances!
To complement its sophisticated realignment system, Wagonwork has the latest computerized wheel alignment
equipment which permits both suspension system inspection and correction as well as exact alignment of each wheel to
manufacturer's specifications.
The most sophisticated and advanced technology in the autobody repair business is useless unless it is employed by
skilled, professional technicians. Constant changes in automotive construction make it imperative that the people who are
entrusted with returning your car to is pre-accident state have access to the latest training and repair procedures. The
Wagonwork team receives its training and certification through the non-profit Inter-Industry conference on Auto Collision
Repair (l-CAR) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Once a year, our employees attend the
