earned first-team all-district honors after making 123 total tackles, including 14 QB sacks<br />
and 30 tackles for loss … also forced five fumbles, grabbed three interceptions and had two<br />
INT returns for TDs … his head coach said Washington would have been district and parish<br />
MVP but he was edged out by his teammate … Washington played just one season for Valdez<br />
at West St. John after transferring from Hahnville High School<br />

2010 (JUNIOr): Earned honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the league’s head<br />
coaches for the second straight year … sideline to sideline defender was second on the<br />
team with 112 tackles, including 54 solo hits, while starting all 13 games at inside linebacker<br />
… had five tackles for loss … forced and recovered a fumble … matched his career high of 11<br />
tackles twice -- vs. FIU and Baylor … had seven or more tackles in 12 of 13 games.<br />
2009 (SOPHOMOrE): An honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the league’s head<br />
coaches ... appeared in all 13 games, starting 11 at outside linebacker ... third on team<br />
in tackles (74) and second in tackles for loss (8.5) ... three tackles, one for loss, against<br />
Georgia in Independence Bowl (12/28) ... totaled five stops in win over Baylor (11/21) ...<br />
seven tackles at Oklahoma (11/14) ... saw limited action against Colorado (11/7) while<br />
nursing an ankle injury ... set a career high with 11 tackles, including 1.5 for loss, and<br />
forced a fumble in the victory ... recorded seven tackles (six solo) and picked off first career<br />
pass one week earlier at Texas Tech (10/24) ... ranked second on the team against K-State<br />
(10/17) with nine tackles ... led the team against Oklahoma State (10/10) with nine tackles,<br />
including four solos ... ranked second on the team in win over Utah State (9/19) with a then<br />
career-high 10 tackles, one for loss ... totaled five tackles, four solo, with one and a half<br />
coming behind the line of scrimmage against New Mexico (9/5).<br />
2008 (Freshman): Talented freshman defender started five games at linebacker …<br />
logged 36 tackles including 21 solo stops … also recorded 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks<br />
… forced a fumble against Texas Tech that led to an <strong>Aggie</strong> touchdown … tallied six tackles<br />
against both Texas Tech and Miami.<br />

HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Dave Meadows at DeSoto High School ... grabbed 25 catches<br />
for 436 yards and three touchdowns as a senior wide receiver (2006) … completed 8-of-<br />
18 passes as a senior … as a junior (2005), Williams had 19 catches for 250 yards and five<br />
touchdowns … ranked in the Top 100 in Texas by the … All-Region by PrepStar.<br />

including eight sacks while forcing 13 fumbles, recovering five more and blocking three<br />

averaged just under 39 yards a punt (38.8) and put seven bo ots inside the 20 ... three of<br />
five punts against Utah State (9/19) landed inside the 20-yard line ... averaged nearly 44<br />
yards on four punts in win over New Mexico (9/5) ... had two 50-plus punts ... season-high<br />
punt was 55 yards against USU.<br />

... averaged over 40 yards a punt in nine games, helping the Grizzlies to the FCS national<br />
championship game ... had nine boots over 50 yards and put 18 balls inside the 20 ... long<br />
