Preface<br />
Dear friends of <strong>Touratech</strong>,<br />
We would like to present you with a very special<br />
catalogue this year.<br />
We have created a catalogue especially for the<br />
motorbikes which ignited our p<strong>as</strong>sion for touring; a<br />
catalogue which emph<strong>as</strong>ises the significance of these<br />
vehicles for motorbike travellers from around the<br />
world.<br />
Motorbikes such <strong>as</strong> the BMW 80 GS, BMW 100 GS,<br />
Yamaha XT, Honda Transalp and Honda Africa Twin,<br />
<strong>as</strong> well <strong>as</strong> the first BMW 650 GS have covered<br />
millions of miles on trails around the world and<br />
brought us, their drivers, so reliably to their<br />
destination that they deserve this catalogue. These<br />
vehicles still have what it takes to get each of us to<br />
the other end of the world - and back again if<br />
necessary. After thousands of kilometres on roads or<br />
trails with riders and luggage, cr<strong>as</strong>hes or mishaps,<br />
wind and weather, these vehicles have also earned<br />
our special attention.<br />
Many products that we developed in the p<strong>as</strong>t years<br />
have been reconsidered, brought out again and<br />
improved upon, so that a vehicle that h<strong>as</strong> suffered<br />
from years of exertion from touring can again be<br />
made a proud and reliable companion.<br />
Up-to-date ch<strong>as</strong>sis technology, robust functionality<br />
and high-quality products are the main focus and<br />
make any of these vehicles into a partner for the<br />
remote and lonely parts of this world. Extreme<br />
specials for rallies and touring, modern navigation<br />

To all owners of these faithful companions we wish a<br />
