The second annual Durham County Library Peeps Show is
in the history books, and it was bigger and better than last
year. To highlight library services and collections, staff members
throughout the system created 13 dioramas featuring Peeps,
the marshmallow, spring candy bunnies and chicks. This year
some younger customers got in on the act as well. Though they
could not compete, children at McDougald Terrace and East
Regional made their own peep-o-ramas.
More than 200 peep fans visited the library to vote on their
favorite display, and more than 550 votes were cast by liking
