game. There is, however, still an export growth in
the industrial sectors where good design, high
quality and technological ingenuity remain as the
competitive edge. By investing in research, development
and in the innovation process Finland

by the government and it will take the hard
lessons of a severe economical crisis before
something will really begin to happen to strike at
the root causes of the problem.
It seems that Finland must take care of the aging
population with significantly smaller resources
than has been previously assumed. However,
