The TCL-LC works by comparing the impedance between the probes in a<br />

conductive media <strong>and</strong> depending on the function <strong>and</strong> the current state at the<br />

probes changes over the output relay.<br />

If both probes (S1 & S2) are immersed<br />

<strong>and</strong> the impedance is below 20kOhm<br />

the output relay pulls in. If the<br />

impedance rises above 60kOhm the<br />

Select single point sensing by shorting<br />

together S1 <strong>and</strong> S2.<br />

Example TCL-LC-E (Emptying)<br />

When the impedance between C <strong>and</strong><br />

S1/S2 falls below 20kOhm the output<br />

relay pulls in. When the impedance<br />

between C <strong>and</strong> S1/S2 rises above<br />

60kOhm the output relay drops out.<br />

The action os opposite on the TCL-<br />
