Dear Readers, The first English catalogue of NIPPON GENETICS EUROPE GmbH is in your hands and you may wonder who is behind this name. In order to bring light into the darkness, we would like to introduce ourselves briefly. NIPPON GENETICS EUROPE GmbH is a subsidiary of NIPPON GENETICS Co., Ltd. (NGC) with its headquarter in Tokyo. The company was founded in 1989 and specialized in consumables and innovative products for Life Sciences. During the first years NGC made itself a name as a leading distributor, and even today products from supplier like Sorenson, Kapa Biosystems, 4titude, Ibidi and others are distributed to the Japanese market. Three years ago we started to work with independant manufacturers to produce NGC custom made products exclusively for us. This product range was extended recently by many interesting and innovative products. Until now, many of these products, are manufactured in Japan, and it is difficult to receive them in Europe or unfortunately too expensive. With the start of NIPPON GENETICS EUROPE GmbH this has changed. We are a small group of highly motivated and enthusiastic scientists and we look forward to providing you with our advice and assistance in your daily lab work.
