Driving force with an eye for detail
Dan Martin, CEO of Martin Archery, looks after
the day-to-day operations of the plant. As an
avid hunter, with many big game animals to
his credit, Dan heads the product testing team.
Dan personally field tests most of the new
products that we produce. After 45 years of
shooting and hunting, his experience is
invaluable in the testing process.
Progressive thinking and a
drive for innovation
After 30 years in the business as Martin
Archery’s Director of R&D, Terry Martin
has a knack for what will work and
what will not. His wall of patent
plaques is a testament to his
innovative nature. Terry is the
pioneer of riser vibration
dampening technology.
He first patented the
use of rubber in
the riser in
1994.

In the early 90’s Terry Martin pioneered the use
of rubber in the riser to dampen vibration.
Now used by many, The Vibration Escape
Modules are the heart of our vibration
management system. The rubber
dampens riser vibration and does reduce
bow noise.

The founder’s bow
As an avid archer and someone who loves
the traditional aspects of the sport, Gail
pays particular attention to the traditional
product line. The aptly named Gail Martin
Classic is just one of Gail’s recent endeavors.
The Gail Martin Classic is the embodiment of
Gail’s extensive knowledge that he has amassed
over half a century in archery. It also reflects his love
for the sport. Rigorous product testing and attention to
the finest detail insures that you are getting the highest
quality bow you can buy.
Continuing the Tradition
Ryan Martin, the Grandson of the founder, joined the family
business several years ago and is determined to continue
the race for excellence.
Ryan shoots archery tournaments on a national level, and
has developed a keen sense for style and form. Ryan
oversees the production of new bows, patent research, and
manages the licensing of our many patents to other
manufacturers.
What the?
Yeah, we know. What can we say? It works!
Designed to fit through the string, the Speed Lizard acts as a speed
button and a string silencer while maintaining string contact between both
points. The same rubber that is used in our patented VEMs is used in the
Speed Lizard. It will dampen string vibrations and reduce string oscillation
after the shot.

After a lifetime in the sport Gail and
Eva’s contribution is immeasurable.
After over fifty years in the archery
business you would think that they
were ready to take it easy. Think
again, Gail and Eva still work every
day and maintain a very active role
in the business. In 1998 they were
both inducted in the Safari Club
International’s Hall Of Honor. Eva
became the first Female inductee.
The award reads, “For exhibiting
the highest degree of integrity,
success in the field, and lifetime
contribution to the past and future
growth of archery and bowhunting.”

The Dyna-Bo turned heads in the
mid seventies. It was the first
single cam bow and the first bow
to have an all-synthetic “string”
system. It was considered way
too radical at the time, yet it was
the fastest bow available. It was
the bow that set the stage for the
single cam bows of today.
Now 30 years later we offer you the
Fuzion Cam. Using Dyna-Bo Technology,
it is a stand out on its own. Full synthetic
harness system just like the original, the
Fuzion Cam is fast, smooth, and vibration free.
Fury-X, no torque, cable guardless design.
Proven at Vegas to be the most accurate cam on the planet, the Fury-X cam is the finest
and most innovative eccentric to come along in years. The Unique Tri-Track design
eliminates string wear. Limb tip torque, cam lean, and awkward
cable guards are just a thing of the past thanks to this new

Sometimes great
ideas keep
coming back
1982 marked the year we began
the development of the bridged
riser design. This design increased
the stiffness of the riser and
allowed for shorter arrows. The
Jaguar was the first production bow of this
type and it was known for years as the fastest
bow on the planet.
The lessons that we learned from the Jaguar
paved the way for the Onza in 1989. Named
for the elusive jungle cat, it was the next step
in speed. An even stronger riser allowed us to
store more energy and use more aggressive
cams. This, again, reset the standards for speed
and power. The first Onzas were constructed of
die cast magnesium. Martin Archery later, in
1992, broke the mold and began
machining the first bridge style risers
out of aluminum.

some machinists would not
believe that they were
actually machined.

Taking it to the next level
George Ryals, our Product Designer, works closely with
Terry & Dan Martin and our staff of champions to create
the bold new designs of today that embody a fresh new
approach, clean sleek look, and a whole new angle on
balance and stability. George draws on his decades in the
archery business, background in art and design, and his
interminable knowledge of bow mechanics. He is no stranger
to the tournament circuit. George is a Professional National Champion
and National Record holder. He is also the only archer in the history
of the prestigious Vegas World Archery Festival to shoot back to
back consecutive 900s, perfect scores.
An eye for accuracy
As a National Champion and World
Team Member, Martin Lotz has
picked up a thing or two about
archery along the way. He brings his
extensive international archery
experience to bear on projects such as our
Aurora Recurve. He works closely with our
team of champions to produce the most accurate
shooting system available. Lotz is also part of our Customer
Service Staff and Product Testing Team. His unerring knack
for accuracy carries over into each product we produce.
The “Wilde Bunch”,
a legacy of Championship archery
Dee Wilde has been a member of the Martin
Shooting Staff for over twenty years. His record
setting blitz through professional archery is the
stuff that legends are made of. A Grand Master
of archery, Dee is an integral part of the testing
process. We rely on his input to make sure that you
get the best that your hard earned dollar can buy. Dee
is a 5 time Gold Medallist in the FITA World Championships
and several time National Champion. Reo and Logan, Dee’s
sons, are carrying on the legacy. Reo is a past Vegas Champion and
National Champion. Logan is the Current 70 Meter World Record holder.

Dedication, professionalism, and accuracy
Another member of the Testing Staff, Roger Hoyle adds his World Record
setting accuracy to the mix. Roger is currently known as the most accurate
man in the world. His phenomenal 1414 Outdoor score shot at distances of
90M, 70M, 50M, 30M shattered the old World Record by 7 points. Roger
definitely knows what it takes to make an accurate bow.
Driving intensity
Jim Despart is not only a several time National Champion and a Vegas
Champion, he is also a Sales Representative for Martin Archery and an integral
part of our Design and Testing Team. Jim is responsible for innovations such
as the Fury-X Cam and for testing the exciting new products in our line. Jim’s
intense drive towards new and innovative ideas pushes the team into new
areas of accuracy and performance.

Shoot-Off King!
Who’s got a brand new Mustang!? Darrin Does! National
Champion and Vegas Champion Darrin McCutcheon squared
off against the greatest archers in the World in Atlantic City for a
single shot, elimination style shoot-off for a Ford Mustang. He
whipped them all. Darrin has been a valuable asset to our team
for years.

For years, archers have personalized their
arrows to fit their own style. The process of
dipping the ends of arrows in bright high visibility
colors was messy and the fumes alone were
enough to make it a pain. Now with Quick Dip,
you can do it yourself with no mess and no
fumes. The speed of Quick Dip is also much
better than traditional dipping techniques. It's
easy; just peel the material and roll it on the
shaft.
Quick Dip is compatible with nearly all fletching
