Half-day schools are turning into full-day schools.<br />
This means that an infrastructure must be provided in<br />
the vicinity to fulfil the new requirements. This includes<br />
for example the provision of hot meals for several<br />
hundred pupils and teachers in suitable premises.<br />
Good room acoustics are needed to be able to eat<br />
and communicate in a relaxed manner. In the cafeteria<br />
at the School Centre in Wesseling the school authorities<br />
put their trust in an acoustics system which<br />
significantly reduced the reverberation time, which<br />
could be installed over the weekend and with which<br />
completely individual design ideas could be implemented.<br />
