PLANS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FUTURE Printing in Ireland is “broken”. Over the last few years many large print companies (Future Print, Wood Printcraft and Colour Books) and dozens of smaller companies have gone out of business, into administration or into receivership. In some cases this has left their customers with little or no access to files, no relationship with a printer or ability to get a rush job printed. Unemployment within the print industry is running at record levels and yet enormous amount of print work for the Irish market is being printed outside of Ireland. We aim to reduce this flow of work out of the country and to work with our business partners, clients and Government Departments and agencies to achieve this. The benefits to the Irish economy are obvious. We at The Printers.ie have the capacity of multiple manufacturing facilities available at short notice and can produce print on demand.
