Herrliche Lage im Glarnerland
Schwändi, 720 m.ü.M., die Sonnenterrasse am Fusse des
Glärnisch, liegt oberhalb von Schwanden mitten im Kanton
Glarus. Das Dorf ist Ausgangspunkt für wunderschöne
Spaziergänge und Wanderungen an den Oberblegisee, nach
Braunwald und um den Freiberg Kärpf, dem ältesten
Wildschutzgebiet der Schweiz. Besuche von Alpwirtschaftsbetrieben
mit Schaukäsen, Molkenbad sowie Rundflüge und
begleitete Segelflüge werden gerne organisiert.
Ruhe und Erholung oder Sport
Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, findet sie hier garantiert. Es
bieten sich in der nahen Umgebung aber auch vielfältige
Sportmöglichkeiten an: Im Sommer Wandern, Fischen,
Bergsteigen und Klettern, Mountainbike- und Radtouren,
Gleitschirmfliegen, Schwimmen im Klöntalersee oder im
dorfeigenen Freiluftschwimmbad. Im Winter alle Sportarten -
kurze Anfahrt nach Braunwald, Elm oder dem Urnerboden.
PS: Auf dem Urnerboden finden Schlittenhundefahrten statt.
Das Gasthaus und Hotel
